India's & probably world's most worst Foreign Post Office. All are robbers in this office. They have power to steal your parcel. I have many bad & unexpected experience here. They asks lots of money to release the parcel. If you reject to pay customs duty & return to the sender. Office person generates Fake tracking number, then shows that it's reached to the sender, But infact it's not reached to sender. And then we can't confirm that where is our parcel..!! They are hungry for money & get some benifits from us. I lost many parcels from here. I paid lots of money & even gave documents to them. BEWARE FROM THIS POST OFFICE. NEVER RECOMMEND.

I am seeing lots of anger regarding working and non responsiveness by executive of Post or Customs. I think approach of customers is not proper. All staff is fully co-operative and are there to address problems. Any goods coming from out of India is subject to Customs Duty if value is more than a limit, and restricted and prohibited items are not allowed at all. If value of parcel is more, than an email will go to the receiver informing the duty amount, if any person did not respond to the email, then Customs has no option but to treat such parcels as unclaimed. Ppl are not taking proper route to solve their problems. One should approach postal website for hierarchical senior officer to complain if their genuine problem is not taken care, similarly Customs website is there to reach higher officer in case subordinate don't respond. FPO is working with two department -Postal and Customs simultaneously. Always go through proper channel, all officers/staff are their to solve the problem not to create the problem. Also Customs duty at FPO is too much, if invoice amt is paid by the buyer him self than it is about 30-40% of value and if value is paid by someone else than same is about 60- 70%, so whenever receiving something from parcel please first check regulations and then you will not blame officers.

World's 3rd class custom and foreign post office. No one attempt call. They handle parcel very badly. They are not responding emails. Called around 200 times. Not a single time call attempted. My parcel not releasing even after 28 days.

Just pathetic service. My brother send the parcel from USA and it got delay by one month. In addition they sent letter via courier stating that I need to show them documents like paid receipt, bank statement. When he mailed them they are asking for INR 10,000 I need to give it in cash to post master when he will delivered the parcel. Matlab kuch bhi. They are adding tax of INR 10,000. Is this a joke? It's better to choose private service. Waste of energy, time and efforts.

Very disappointed, I will sand my documents to Wes Canada from my university by India speed post. 2 months ago and my courier was not delivered. now they are not able to solve my problem, i can't get any update regarding my courier. also i register a complaint 17th February. there is no any update... please change your third class staff...

My parcel came in Ahmedabad from USA on 28th August and paid some excise duty also but still I don’t receive any update for my parcel. Worst service by them. They don’t receive call as well. I would rate 0 for their service.

My parcel #CG552557455IN to Australia booked on 11.08.23 is still stuck at Ahmedabad C FPO, despite continuous follow-up there is no movement of my parcel, it's almost 2 WEEKS but it is still at Ahmedabad FPO, how will it reach Australia this way?

Good people there but process is slow and instant update will take time on online portal due to customs process. You need to visit place and follow up your shipment.

My package went missing. I think someone from here took it. It had shawls in, it was not prohibited. No one helped me get the package back. It has been months now.

Very disgusting service and i sent parcel australia to india before 30 days for my nephew's birthday gift and they took 10 days in custom office and i got parcel after 14 days. They didn't tell us is anything wrong in parcel or no update given by indian post. I have to pay duty of my all parcel and they opened up. Very bad service.

Wish we could file a complain against this post office ! Have been reading all the scary reviews so far and already having a worst experience here ! My father even visited them to get the parcel and was ready to do all the needful, he wasted his 4hrs there just to know they will anyways not handover the parcel ! We needed the parcel because we ordered them as return favours for kids in my function. Idk what they are upto or what they want to do with holding the parcels! The women’s working there felt greedy , they opened my parcel also but still don’t release it. We even asked to pay the customs but they said we will mail about the same ! Its stuck in Ahmedabad foreign post since 23rd nov. 2023 ! Gov should really take a strict action against this post office !

very lazy staff. i try to call as well no one answering the phone. my parsal stuck since 20/11/23 . after that no updates. i did send parcel UK to Surat gujrat India. it's such a rubbish service. i can give 0 costomer service.

One of my Relative sent me Gift article under Rupees 5000 which is Tax free. I got before time frame suggested by Sender. Within same day Custom release the parcel to Post office. Next day I got parcel.

Asking for Re6000+ duty on goods worth 12000Re. simple goods such as protein powder etc. is this valid? how to find out which goods are so highly charges and which not? Any list in the web site anyone knows of. please share information. Asking for CASH payment of the customs duty! does not seem straight
