Good traditional food but nothing outstanding. Service is quite slow.
Enjoyed several meals here with our group. Attentive servers and nice atmosphere.
Was pointed towards Chéjere by my hotel as one of the best restaurants in Coatepec and it lived up to the billing. Wonderfully flavourful enchiladas verdes de pollo (which were recommended by the server from their traditional dishes) with some smoky and spicy salsas and not too sweet, not too tart Agua de Jamaica. Great prices, good atmosphere, wish I was in town longer so I could go back to try a few other things but do very highly recommend them.
I love the ambiance of this place, the service was magnificent and the food very original, I’ll go back there anytime.
Lovely place great food. Amazing price
The whole experience was amazing. The food, the service And the atmosphere!! My family invited me here and it was the highlight of my day. Israel was a great server.
Excellent service and amazing food! Great recommendations from our server. Great place to eat if you are in Coatepec.
THE BEST !!!! I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
We were recommended this place and to be honest it really let us down. Upon arrival we waited for ages for someone to sit us down, even though there were free tables and waiters just chatting away while looking over at us, until someone finally came over to ask if we’ve been helped yet. From observing the service there is one waiter that works and is proactive. He was doing all the work which was so heartbreaking to see. The Caesar salad was absolutely dissapointing. The avocado was so unripe you could not even eat it, there were slices of unripe tomato with stem…also not to mention that the cutlery was completely bent and looked like it was chewed…
In my opinion the food was plain and the portion was small. The tortillas had a factory taste. The only positive thing was the live music.
it's still very good, but not as good as it used to be. Parts of your meal are often not heated enough or just plain cold. Service was friendlier and more efficient before. I am very happy they appear to have ditched the live music. My waiter and I couldn't hear each other. Also, taking your name at the entrance introduced a feeling of stiff formality which detracted from the relaxed atmosphere before, but this also seems to have been abandoned — thank goodness. Plus, Jamaica should be chilled. Always.
Beautiful place. Food amazing. Our server Pablo was so kind and attentive. Definitely a hidden gem in Mexico.
