So I had ordered quite a few things. And yes people make mistakes. That wasn't the issue. When i saw the mistake, the older waitress got a attitude with me saying I did order that, and at first she was not going to accept fixing the mistake. Till I said aren't you going to fix it. When I got there, she opened the box, and you can see the look on her face when she realized the big difference. I asked if she would like me to bring the food back,and she goes uh yeah! With a attitude. Nothing wrong with making a mistake, but how you fix it is!

In reading other reviews it appears older ones were more positive. My experience was not. I love tamales. Theirs had a pencil diameter of pork: it was mostly masa. My enchilada was thrown together with ground beef. It was flavorless. Service was not efficient. We had to clear our own dirty plates onto another table. The staff could have helped each other: but did not. I noticed they put an ad on for hiring help. They need help and they need experience or atleast training. I'll find another place >> I won't be coming back.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Aiken! We often get the Maria’s Fajitas special for two. I also really like the green chili Verdes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make it a fun ‘going out’ experience. This was also one of the first places to set up a tent and open during Covid. Thanks guys! Loyal customers FOREVER!!!!

I have been here several times because some friends rave about it. I guess my extensive experience with other Mexican restaurants makes me think this place just doesn’t measure up. Food is bland and uninteresting, and not worth the price. Service is subpar. I will only go again to be sociable because friends like it.

It's probably the first or second best Mexican restaurant around Aiken. Good food and service. Tends to be a bit loud during peak times, but you can ask to be seated in the party room, and that is typically significantly quieter.

We are regular customers. The service and staff are excellent. Food is really good as well as the margueritas. It's always a pleasure to go there for a good dining experience.

Maria’s is a lovely and efficient family restaurant. They were understanding of our 10 month old and ensured they brought our food quickly and kept him happy. Food was good, service was good, a lovely easy evening out for the family!

This place is a well oiled machine. Got in. Sat immediately. They got our drinks and chips instantly. As soon as I finished my drink, a server was right there and got me a new drink right away. Food came out in 10 minutes and was delicious! Honestly, this might have been the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. 10/10. You should definitely stop in here

My fiance and I ate here in a recommendation and we loved it. The food was great, the service was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. We had plenty to eat at a reasonable price.

Visited for the first time on Saturday night. Maria's is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Aiken. Everything was great; food, service, atmosphere. I like the equestrian motif. Fits perfect for Aiken. Our waiter was a nice young man and did an excellent job. I enjoy supporting locally owned, family run establishments. Looking forward to our next trip and exploring more menu items. The frozen lime margaritas were delicious as well.

This place service is very bad. Got the chips right away, but the drinks took 15 minutes, then another 25 for the food with no silverware to eat with. By the time they come back to you with silverware your food is cold. The order got wrong, three waitresses came to us and all three looked and spoke lost. First time for me and sure the last. No second chance. Ruin the evening for my family after a soccer game.

Made birthday reservations days ago at Maria's for a birthday party for a surprise party my husband. Get there 5 minutes early to set us balloons and such and they had just seated someone in the middle of the tables need and couldn't accommodate us. Just really ruined the surprise. Just very unprofessional and disappointing. Thankfully Salsas told us to come on and they'd make it work.

Our food was great. But service will make or break a meal. And Andrew was exceptional. Made great recommendations and answered our Qs with a smile. (Thanks for the selection of salsas. We found out mixing the Verde with the tomatillo hot is best way to go for flavor and spice.) We sent our folks later that night. They loved it too. Going back tonight. In a 2 star service world, 5 star service is a godsend. Thanks Maria for the food. Andrew for everything else.

We love their salsa and cheese dip. If you like spicier stuff on your food,, they make homemade hotter concoctions that you must ask for. Service always good, fast and efficient. Never had an issue here, but I wish they would use less salt on and in everything.

Always great food, great service and kind staff. When it is super busy sometimes not the quickest but that is every restaurant.
