I've been on the reef tour during peak season. For the reef tour you'll start 8:00 and be back around 18:30. On the boat you'll get a light breakfast (cereal, melon) and coffee/tea. For lunch there's meatballs, chicken curry, rice, cucumber, tomato. There's plenty of communication around possible activities. You can go around with a helicopter, do certified diving (2x), intro diving with plenty of assistance, some boat with underwater view, guided snorkeling or free snorkeling. The pontoon itself has a lower section to watch the water from about 1 meter below. You'll be able to buy those activities on the boat as available. The snorkel side is pretty used up. About a third of the reef is dead, but for snorkelers there's still things to see. For certified divers I would recommend another activity. Despite being the Great Barrier Reef it's been the lower end of my 44 dives and I would not do it again. The boat and equipment in generally good shape and the workflows suitable for loads of people.

Doesn't look anything like that picture. The islands are just giant resorts, and not that pretty like around Fraser Island. The boat ride was long, more of a drop off pick up cruise. It was fast, which is good. Whitehaven Beach was nice, but had no atmosphere. I really just felt like it was a very expensive boat ride to a white beach. As an Australian, I can go to a beach anytime. The afternoon tea was generous.

I was not sure about going on such a big boat as I hate crowds but I thought the kids would love it and yes it was busy but we still had a really great day! We were lucky to get the most beautiful weather so it was absolutely magic out there on the pontoon for the day. It was quite busy and hectic in the water with all the people and I have never had so many collisions with other swimmers (snorkelers in this case 😄) before but the water was glorious and the fish were amazing! We saw a beautiful turtle swimming around the pontoon. The lunch and morning and afternoon tea was great and very enjoyable for the whole family although I did see they ran out of a couple of things before everyone had eaten, was an extra busy day. The crew were all fabulous and very helpful, thanks for a great day guys! We really enjoyed it, a fantastic day on the Reef for the family! Definitely recommend!

Booked the cruise a day before but it got cancelled due to bad weather. So I booked another tour after the day. Well, I will go for the parking first, there is a parking lot nearby where you will need to pay. After that you just check in and wait on board. They will provide the wetsuits which are only 2MM, but don't worry, the water is warm so you will be fine without any wetsuit. Fins and masks are on your own, so please bring it if you want to have better experiences. As the half day tour the time is so rushed so I only got 15mins in Hamilton Island. If you have time perhaps you can stay longer Overall I think they did a good job for just bringing us around. Nothing else to complain

We went to Hamilton Island on Saturday 19th august and started to Daydream Island at 2:30pm with Whitsundays cruise it was amazing feeling, we went to Great Barrier Reef on Sunday with Whitsundays cruise and I really enjoyed to my fullest in the Ferry, the water is green and blue, we watched whales 🐳. Awesome staff especially Beatriz was amazing, she showed me Octopus and many colourful fishes in the “Great Barrier Reef”. She was very friendly and given me lots of information about the corals 🪸 and fishes🐠. I hope she gets all the success she deserves. All the best Beatriz. I recommend everyone to visit once in their life to enjoy The Beautiful adventures in the ferry, Food was good, I purchased a tortoise 🐢 to remember the cruise for my lifetime. I and my husband loved the journey with Whitsundays cruise ❤️

Great trip. The walk to the Marina Tavern on Hamilton Island was a bit of a trek for me. Otherwise I'm very happy with the day out. Yes, I highly recommend this tour for anyone contemplating the Whitsundays as a holiday destination.

We recently went on the Camira for the day with the Cruise Whitsundays team. Could not recommend them highly enough. We had a beautiful, sunny but slightly windy day but apart from a slightly bumpy ride over to the islands you could have hardly known it was windy. Tides allowed us to get up the hill for one of the best views you will ever see (the pics don’t do it justice trust me). After that we got some time at the beach before an incredible BBQ lunch on the boat and then some snorkelling. The bar was constantly stocked with cold drinks and the crew were all so friendly, accomodating, and are keen for a laugh and a yarn. If you are thinking about a day out in Whitsundays couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks guys.
