a walking distance to the umeda building. owner is such a lovely & friendly guy. came here for lunch, & they have amazing lunch set deals at only 950 yen. I got soup for appetizer, a main course of your choice, 2 options for dessert (tapioca sago / coconut pudding), and a glass of water. for main course we ordered fried rice with pineapple, fried rice with green curry, malaysia style seafood noodles, nasi goreng, and pad thai. my absolute fav was the fried rice with green curry, it tastes the same as nasi goreng kampung ❤️ I highly recommend this place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Actually this is my second trial coming to this restaurant. I was coming during the dinner time but unfortunately the seats were all packed so I have to go to this place another day. I re tried to come to this place at around 11.30 a.m and fortunately we could got the seats available. The atmosphere would bring you to the Malaysian hospitality. The food available were also delicious with the variety of menu provided. Also, the place was easily found by walking for several minutes from Umeda station. They will provide you with the Chicken soup, Salads, and a dish that you order. At the end, the dessert will also available.

I personally liked the meals I got which are shown in the photos below; being a spice loving person, the selection of sauces were or particular interest to me. I also particularly liked how the dishes had been tweaked to be better suitable to the Japanese palate. I highly recommend this place for any first timers into the culinary world of Malaysian cuisine.

Great food, service, and ambience. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful, spoke English and even served our food very quickly on request. There was an English menu as well. They have Thai food on the menu as well. The lunch sets have salad, soup, a dessert and a main course. Priced decently at 950 yen. 10/10 would recommend.

Don't go to Umeda Sky Bulding, go straight to Malaysia Boleh. We had a pleasant time with the owner and we ate very well. And as you can see in the last picture, we didn't leave anything 🤤🇲🇾

The lunch menu is extremely reasonable and the owner is very personable and friendly with all who come to dine, he can speak 3-4 languages and tries to make a welcoming atmosphere for everyone! The lunch set included a soup,salad, and dessert. It was my lucky day and he offered some butterfly tea to experience the pretty change of color purple 🦋

The Japanese staff here so kind and try to speak bahasa with me. I miss Malaysia when I visited this place. I love the taste of tomyam. Even my Taiwanese friend really like tomyam. Will visit again and try others menu. Malaysia Boleh!

Food is great, staff is very quick and friendly and conveniently located 10 seconds...10 seconds from the Umeda Sky Building. My wife, who doesn't normally like rice dishes wanted to order a 3rd rice dish because it was soo good. Highly recommend!

First time eating Malaysian food and it was amazing. I thought it would have catered to japanese palate by muting flavor and spices but i was wrong. The laksa was really flavorful with coconut milk,the noodles were firm and the shrimp was done perfectly. Chicken satay with peanut sauce complimented the savory chicken with the sweetness of the peanut sauce. Price is affordable and servings were huge, the lunch set was with complimentary salad and soup and was given a dessert of coconut milk and tapioca and an additional coconut pudding. Staff were very accommodating. Definitely recommended and would come back again .

We visited Japan early October and spent few days in Osaka. We met a member of staff the night before and he invited us to visit the Malaysia Boleh where he works. Food at Malaysia Boleh is EXCELLENT and service is awesome.... we even got a Japanese lesson!!! We loved our experience. Thanks you! Highly recommend/

As a Malaysian, this is one of the best Malaysian food I’ve ever had! Absolutely recommended! Food is amazing and service is just top of the notch! You can tell how much the owner dedicates his love towards Malaysia. Meals are also very reasonably priced! If you do get the chance to visit this restaurant, please do or you’ll be missing out!

Malaysian food in Osaka. If you cant take in japanes food while in Osaka, you can try this place. Authentic Malaysian taste. Shop will close after 3pm and continue for dinner time at 5pm. Worth to try!

We walked all the way from Umeda station for about 20 mins to reach the restaurant only to be turned away. They said we have to reserve a table and when I checked earliest was tomorrow. With 4 kids in tow, we now have to walk all the way back. They dont even allow us to order takeouts.

I loved this place! I came around 11.30am on a rainy day and it was nice to see that there were already a few customers eating. The owner was really friendly and nice and suggested me to have their Malaysian Seafood Goreng. I went for it and I must say I really enjoyed the dish! The lunch menu set comes with soup, salad (the dressing is amazing!), main course, dessert and green tea for just 850¥!

Love this place. When we first showed up they had no room but we waited 5 minuets and they fit us in! Food came fast and service was great. Some of the best food I have ever had and staff was wonderful. BONUS: free candy on your way out and so many thank you's

Everything was amazing! The food is so delicious. My favorita was coconut pudding, and pineapple rice. Honestly recommend this place, and the service was so good!

Amazing food!!! A must go if you are in Osaka. Finding vegetarian food is nearly impossible in Japan until we found this restaurant. Incredible for both veggie and non veggie eaters. Service was quick and the owner was very friendly. It’s on a small road and definitely a hidden gem. Everything we ordered was phenomenal and better than any Malaysian cuisine I’ve had in London. Perfect dinner after going up the Umeda sky building as it is only a 4 minute walk. Going back again for dinner tonight.
