is
another
kilometre
uphill
and
is
the
location
for
the
hydroelectric
generation
plant,
Volta
hotel
and
staff
residences.
The
Akosombo
Total
Service
station
has
seen
some
recent
renovations
to
bring
it
up
to
the
"Bonjour"
standard.
I
enjoyed
their
smart
fuelling
and
car
lubrication
services,
topped
with
a
little
pastry
and
refreshing
drink
at
the
Mini
Mart.
Well
if
you
need
some
cash
it's
within
one
to
two
minutes
drive
of
Zenith
Bank
and
GCB
Bank
ATM's.
If
you're
in
for
tour
or
leisure,
you
are
just
5
minutes
drive
from
the
Dodi
Princess
leisure
boat
port
and
7
minutes
from
the
serene
mountainous
Volta
Lake
Transport
boats
bay.
