They served us the wrong beers on a slow night. Then I checked my bank statements the night day and they triple charged my card, refunded me the wrong amount, then charged again. Update: its been a week later and they’re still charging my card for random amounts. I’ve contacted my bank and Rays, yet no response from Rays yet. Had to deactivate my card completely. Im now out $40 from a $14 transaction of 2 beers. I will NEVER be going back.

Rays helped me spend 15 dollars for a ticket because I guess they want to kill highland square by removing its best parking lot. Who would have guessed that running a bar in a bar district would attract people who try to have a nice time.

I wonder if this business is aware that their clientele treat the neighborhood like their own personal trash can. I just watched city volunteers clean up their landscaping, which is disgusting. We need businesses in this neighborhood that actually care about the neighborhood.

I showed the larger-set female bartender the notifications in my capital one app that revealed I was charge $10 and then $20. She told me the $10 charge was a pre-authorization charge or something like that, and that it would go away the next day (which it did). That wasn’t the issue I was raising, however. She didn’t even notice how I was charged $20 for two beers. I asked “so the beers are $10 each?”, to which she responded, “no, you’re looking at $12 right now”. You guys owe me a refund but I’m sure I won’t get it. You made me pay for some random stranger’s drink (I was alone) and this employee wasn’t listening to me or even looking at my phone when I pointed out that something was wrong.

What a great place. Menu is very diverse, and the tap list is to die for. Coming back tomorrow for lunch before we head home to Cincy

Poor customer service. Was greeted by bartender then said I’m helping someone else and ignored me after the fact.

Ray's is an okay sports bar catering to primarily a college crowd. On weekends, this place gets packed to the point where you're lucky to find somewhere to sit, and forget about having a conversation unless you're yelling over the noise. Service is not fast, and catching the attention of a bartender takes saintly levels of patience. On weekdays and afternoons, when the place is all but dead, the experience is improved - you can actually hear sports on the tv and place drink/food orders. All in all, I went to plenty of places like this in college, so while it's no longer my scene, I'm sure it's somebody's.

Every meal I've had has always been delicious. I had potato skins and a few 🍓 daiquiri's, tried the grand Margarita from the happy hour menu.(this is about Rockne's) made a mistake on location. I do however enjoy a cold bud light at Ray's though!!

Rays Pub is a great place to relax with friends, shoot some darts and enjoy good music. Not bad for a first date location!

Does this place have A/C?. If so please turn it on it’s September and hot as hell.. if you play darts you don’t wanna play outta here. Even the bartenders say it’s hot

I enjoy it. Very pub vibe but the outdoor patio makes it worth it. Security is appropriate but the bathroom could be monitored more closely.

Ray's is a great community bar, with reasonable prices, and indoor/outdoor seating. Located in the heart of Highland Square, Ray's is at the epicenter of Akron's nightlife. Inside is Bob's Burgers, which offers excellent meals. If you're looking for a venue to hang and watch the game, Ray's is a top bet.

Great laid back atmosphere. Nice bartenders and a really cool cook. Definitely a place to unwind and have fun.

If you like doing shots and drinking in excess then walking out the backdoor and tossing ur cookies so you can drink even more....... then this is the place for you. Bob's hamburg is located in the rear of the bar.....very good burgers!!

Watched USA world cup game here. Great experience. Lots of fans and great atmosphere.

Very odd experience. Our bartender didn’t speak to us for over 30 minutes and the drinks were expensive for the atmosphere.

Today was our first visit. Devonte was a top notch bartender with exceptional customer service skills. The manager was hustling as well. We came early to watch football but our main reason was to support Michael Andes.

Ray's has always been a decent place with great drinks, awesome staff and good prices. TNT Tacos is a real plus. My shrimp taco was to die for. I got the grim reaper wings, as I am into crazy hot stuff. They were the hottest and best tasting wings I have ever had. If you are not into pain with your wings, they were also tender and huge so I am sure they would be good with any sauce. The guys that work there are really nice.

Great bar in the heart of Highland Square. It has a large space inside with plenty of seats and a decent sized patio. Good selection of beer and liquor. There is a pool table and darts. Parking behind the building is easy to access and can park behind Chipotle if that is full.

I love Ray’s it’s the best place to socialize and have some drinks with your girlfriends

Called to ask why there was a $30 charge on my card for a Corona and a Dortmunder. Hung up on me and charged me $16 instead (tipped in cash).

So bobs burgers has done in on they menu I'm thinking they gonna bring my order to the bar no they let it sit then refused to replace my fries and girl at register very rude don't dine there

Great place for the Akron locals to meet up and get absolutely Buck Wild. However - if you are someone who pees in the woman’s bathroom or are a part of the management staff - there should be a sign in the Women’s restroom middle stall that says “Hold to flush”, as that is necessary for the plumbing of this particular toilet. Please put this sign in here. I feel like I should be paid for this. - posting from the middle stall
