They are great, I always like going here as a treat. The server is down to earth and genuinely loves her job of helping people. I am not sure if Christina is the cashier or the server. I forgot my bad. She was carrying a lot of catsup bottles and taking about the singer Adele. The table cleaner is very nice as well. Everyone was nice. Tasty food, nice people, and modern atmosphere. Very happy thank you.

First time in, came for lunch with my husband. Little slow to get our order taken but the waitress was prompt with drinks and the food came out fast. We had Reubens and fries. Not quite enough kraut for my personal taste even after asking for extra but overall a really good sandwich. The fries were the perfect ratio of crispy and fluffy. Prices are quite fair for the quantity. Definitely would come back if we pass through again.

We ate a late breakfast here this past Saturday during a weekend visit to Akron. This is the cutest friendliest restaurant ever! Our server was super nice and helpful. We both enjoyed our breakfasts. My husband ordered Hungarian sausage which was a first for both of us. It was out of this world good! I had coconut caramel coffee that really hit the spot for this coffee lover!

Love this place! Nice little family breakfast spot that has great food, is clean, and has great service. A hidden gem of Akron that is not so hidden and still has high standards and amazing staff!

Must be a great place to work. Everyone is friendly. Like... really genuinely friendly. Food is good. Setting nice. But the service is really special. There are way more trendy places in town but if you just want simple, familiar, no-drama home cooking, then come here.

When I went I tried the Blimp meal for my first time. It was a really good meal and did not last long. From ordering my food to getting it seemed to only take 10 or less minutes which was amazing. Everyone else I went with enjoyed their breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend it.

The food was super yummy. Amazing service. The food came out super fast with a party of 3 people. They have a variety of options. The staff was super friendly. If it gets packed there won’t be a place to sit and wait. They didn’t have lemonade. The juices come in a bottle not from a fountain.

Had a craving for liver & onions. Best decision by going here! Friendly and great food, awesome prices. Saving the yummy chicken noodle soup for lunch tomorrow 😋

We went here for the first time. First thing I noticed was service with a smile. Hostess and waitress were very helpful, smiling, and cheerful…definitely seemed to love their job!! We sat down and looked at the menu and everything looked amazing. I asked the waitress what she would suggest. She said the Lobster eggs Benedict. OMG it was the best thing I have ever had for breakfast!! My husband took the first bite of his meal and said we are definitely coming back here!! The waitress was very attentive the entire meal. Do not miss this spot for breakfast!! We are planning to go again soon to try the lunch!!

I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the extraordinary service. The food was definitely a low 3 for me. The hostess and server were amazing. Smiles, friendly, helpful. I got the meatball sub. I had 3 bites and ordered a blt instead. My son ordered country fried steak and said it was decent. My youngest had the hot dog but wouldnt eat it after the 1st bite ( to be fair, he is extremely picky lately).

This place is amazingly busy, but they are great and keeping caught up with the crowds. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. I asked if there would be a better option between the chile omelet or Greek omelet, and Liz suggested the Greek omelet with spinach added. Great suggestion. 👍

Service was friendly but I must be missing something with the food. The green beans and mashed potatoes tasted so odd that we couldn’t eat them. The food is mostly frozen fare. If you want fresh made, or made from scratch items, this isn’t your place. If you’re just looking for a large menu with friendly service, then stop in.

Akron Family Restaurant has the best french toast in the state of Ohio, maybe the world! They do it better then the French! I swear to God that after my first bite I had goosebumps because the flavor was so amazing! Everything there is great but for real you need to have this french toast at least once in your life.

We had a great breakfast! Portions were large and food was fresh. I was especially happy for a Gyro Omelette. Service was also friendly.

We came here for a business meeting and luncheon. The food was very good and the servers were very attentive. They have a space for a business to have a large meeting. The food menu was specific to a luncheon menu. The food pictured is an Avocado BLT with regular fries. It was very tasty! The parking lot is very spacious. Throughout our time at the establishment they were very busy. I will definitely be coming back for more.

I ordered canadian bacon and received thick pieces of ham that did not taste fresh. I asked for eggs fried over medium and received a hard mess. The waffle was not done. Hashbrowns not fully cooked. I had a piece of hair in my eggs.

I largely eat a carnivore diet because of food sensitivities. I ordered a rare sirloin steak with two over-easy eggs. The eggs were fine and the steak was properly rare. But the means of cooking the steak left the outside gray, not browned, so it was visually unappealing. The service was so-so. We went for an early-afternoon Sunday brunch and arrived at the tail-end of the after-church crowd, which had cleared out before we left. The room we were seated in was mostly empty. The place is quite large and we were seated much more quickly than we anticipated, given the number of cars in the parking lot. But the waitress, although friendly enough, was slow. I'd give it another chance but wouldn't rave about the place.

Definitely the best diner in all of northeast Ohio! Friendly service at the door and at your table. The food you want at a family restaurant, with no compromise on taste. Everything is delicious on the menu and you learn with a full heart on addition to a full belly. Stop in here whenever possible!

Fantastic place to eat! We thought there wouldn't be any room because the parking lot was packed! But it is much bigger than what it looks like from the outside. We were seated as soon as we entered. Given menus and drinks right away. We were from out of town and hungry as hippos! 🤣 We were really impressed with the food and service. 10-15 minutes after we were seated, they were bringing our food out. It was delicious! You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

This past Sunday, 18 of us took the train ride and wanted to go somewhere to eat after. I called the restaurant at 12:00 pm and asked if they would be able to accommodate our large party. The restaurant closes at 3 pm on Sundays and we would not be able to get there until 1:45 at the earliest. The gentleman said absolutely! It was THE BEST experience from the initial phone call to us leaving at 3:05. The entire staff was AMAZING. We had 2 waitresses. One was Kelly— who by far was the BEST waitress I ever had. Food came out quickly and was very good. THANK YOU to your entire staff!

Been coming here for several years. Great local spot for a breakfast get-together. Nice atmosphere. Very clean. Food is always good. Service is fast and friendly. I generally get the #1 Breakfast, can't beat the price. Best part, your coffee will never be cold!

Good food & a good family atmosphere. I had an omelette with Italian sausage and marinara. The omelette was very good. They use the rolled method. The Italian sausage was excellent!! I had sourdough toast which came out nice and thick and flavorful. My server even remembered the honey I'd asked for. If you go be careful of the parking lot. One side is small and very tight

My family and I had a great breakfast here to wrap up family weekend at Akron University. I had the cinnamon apple french toast and it was beyond perfect! There were fresh cut cinnamon apples on top with 7 nicely browned pieces of french toast. They hardly even needed syrup! The coffee was also good. I can tell they grind their own beans. I highly recommend this spot. Perfect for a college student living on a budget but needs big portions.
