Location Is very bad and dangerous. Don't go there at any cost, You can literraly be kidnapped there and no one will notice. If you stayed there without a car you will have trouble getting a taxi or order a limo as the road leading to the hotel is very bad and no one will go there.

Never stay here if you are going with family. Location is good because its close to pyramids. Environment is like staying at a room in a horse stable. Receptionists will only smile expecting tips. Hot Shower not working, drain clogged, washroom door couldn't be closed. And they didn't fix anything. Worst time of my hotel stays around the world

The view from the rooftop Terrance is stunning!! You get a clear view of the Pyramids, which makes for a great picture. The owner and staff will help in any way possible and try there hardest to make your stay pleasant. If you arrange to get picked up from the airport, make sure to double confirm. Upon my arrival at 11:45 PM, I searched for an hour for the driver and ended up taking a random taxi at 11:45 at night!!This wasn’t the perfect start to my trip. Over my 5 night stay, the room was never cleaned and only shampoo was provided upon my arrival. I didn’t bother asking, I’m sure they would have immediately cleaned it and offered soap and additional shampoos. Overall, I would suggest Makadi Pyramids View. The owner and staff always have a smile on there face, and try to make your stay comfortable.

I wish there was a 2.5 review because the receptionist took a promise from me to give them a "5" on review. I promised, thinking I could give them 5/10. Nevertheless, let me start with pros: 1) Amazing views of pyramids from terrace 2) Decent rooms 3) Kitchen use at terrace although not clean 4) Unlimited supply of bottled water Now, cons: 1) Receptionist (Mr.Islam) is deceptive and a big liar. On first day, out rightly charged us 3 to 4 times for the dinner meal. He didn't allow us to step out of the hotel and insisted he will buy everything for us. Basically he robbed us of around 300 pounds minimum. 2) Tour was organized thru them. Despite prior confirmation, the dinner cruise on Day 1 was not booked by them and we had to schedule it for next day. 3) The tour was saved by Mr.Osama (tour guide), though he didn't explain much, it was sufficient for us. He was friendly and funny. He didn't push us thru the trip. 4) There was Halloween party and loud noise out of the terrace. It continue until 4AM and we were not offered a different stay despite stating that I had an infant with me. Lot of smoke, drinks and drugs involved int he party. 5) Alexandria day tour was dreadful since Mr.Islam came with us and pushed us thru for 3 important locations within 1 hour. When we reached the Library at 1.00 PM (opens at 2.00PM on Fridays), he out rightly lied without shame on our face that there was some maintenance work going on inside the library. When we said we need to visit inside, he said the tour was only for 8 hours (though the tour clearly was planned for 12 hours). 6) Again on the last day, tour was fine with Mr.Osama being brought back due to our insistance. Nevertheless, enough damage was done by Mr.Islam to lose 3 stars from the review. Was surprised he could put his face thru to request for 5 star review. Not sure how many reviews here are genuine. The trip to Cairo was saved by Mr.Osama, Mr.Mahmoud (the owner of hotel) and the quiet tour driver with his good car. Otherwise, it would have been dreadful tour.

The service here is amazing, the staff are very attentive, and can help you book anything you need from tours, airport shuttle. The area around it doesn't have many restaurants so they have a room service so that you can get food. Or there is KFC and Pizza hut a short walk away along with the ATM in front of it. Just be wary as people around the area may try to talk to you and upsell you on things like taxis. The stay here was great, Uber worked well to take us to Cairo for the museum and other things to see in Cairo. Maybe a 60 EGP ride. For the sensitive noses, If you can't take horse and camel smells, this may not be your place as a lot of the stables are located here. But the pyramids welcome you everyday, which is amazing! Oh and can I also gush about the daily included breakfast? It was a choice of either Egyptian or continental breakfast, don't get continental cause you'll want to eat Egyptian everyday! So delicious, I don't think I'll ever find real Egyptian food in California 😀

The staff & the owners ( Mahmoud & Ahmed ) are friendly, pleasant & eager to serve & are looking for your comfort. The room was very nicely clean, beds are full size & has clean sheets. The furnitures in the room ; nice size dresser , bedside table between two beds, closet with shelves , small working Refrigerator, flat TV, hot & cold water in bathroom & towels were changed daily. . Room has also a working phone ☎️ to communicate with Reception. The pyramids view from third floor rooms as well as from the Roof which is dream-able site all times.... specially Sunset & Sundown. It is a short walking distance to Pyramids entrance. Price is good comparing to other expensive hotels, saving you a lot of money that you can use to enjoy your vacation around. Breakfast served on the Roof where you enjoying the scenery of the great Pyramids. We are stayed for 5 days /4 nites. This is the second time we come to Makadi Motels. I’ll rate it at four & half. My reason for missing half that there is no Elevator so you need to go up & down stairs... the Roof at 4th floor.

Breakfast was good and included in my booking. Room and bed were very cozy. bathrooms with hot and cold water. A total value for money property. Room was cleaned almost everyday. Linens were good. I would recommend it. staffs were friendly. Not far away from the pyramid complex., hardly 10 minutes away. Disliked · Although the location was good but a lot of animals run through the road and dungs produced from these animals made the whole environment smelly some times unbearable. the internet did not work during my entire stay. the staffs said it was a local problem that happened. TV was not running. rooftop restaurant was good from where you could see the pyramids complex.

Excellent Price quality relationship, you get a very nice view of the Giza Pyramids from the Rooftop terrace and also from some of the rooms. The breakfast is quite basic, but good and you can order food from the local downstairs restaurant next to the hotel for a very good price. Guys at the front desk are kind of helpful and can organise tours or transport. The only downside is that down on the street, everything is quite dirty because of the camels and horses. But the area is pretty safe. :)

Locality is really bad. It's surrounded by horse stables, which are not only noisy, but also extremely smelly. In the name of "free breakfast", they give very small portions of low quality food. Plumbing was broken and flodded our room several times. Overall, very bad place if you're looking for some peaceful and hassle-free stay.

Great View on top of the roof, but if you have have bad knees I wouldn't suggest staying here because walking up and down the stairs can be straining. I got my second and third tour here. I like the first tour guide they got me and asked if that person can stay with me for the rest of my tours and got charged extra to keep the same tour guide. They also kept the money for themselves and never gave any to the tour guide. Breakfast is minimal. A croissant with honey/butter and a yogurt. If you want to walk around your hotel, I would not recommend this place. Very little to do and can seem a little sketchy.
