As regular customer there I have some points 1- the coffee there is so good and that’s what makes them special ( If you like specialty coffee, Try Ethiopian and Colombian passion fruit👌) (If you like sweet coffee highly recommend cardamon, salted caramel , pistachio) 2- the sweets are often there after the noon( Try the cheesecake blueberry ) 3-The most inconvenient thing that most of the time they don’t have change (so you have to wait until they have change and this unrealistic for place to be like this!!) 4-finally I really would recommend to make mariam do your coffee she’s so good making coffee and she got a nice personality 💛

With the buzzing coffee scene now in Cairo, competitive service and product are what make the game. I have been to kavun now for 4 months for almost a dozen times in different settings like morning coffee, work & coffee to go . I have more or less stuck to cappuccino, salted caramel latte and Spanish latte. I'd recommend this spot for a good peacful morning read or focused work / study. 1. The location hidden away in a side street makes it optimal for a quite morning read or work/ study. Especially that it's further away than the cluster of restaurants/ cafes and thus doesn't attract same crowds. It usually super quite in the morning. 2. The interior is set with various seating arrangements and plugs all along . 3. I found the coffee to be good. It's also well priced. 4. Its not a big deal butmake sure to ask for hot " hot drinks " // because they seem to have some milk-based recipes that are now made warm like the black range 5. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend sitting outdoors except in winter because of the flies. It was honestly unbearable. 6. During my visits, I found the cafe attracted coffee aficionados whom documented the processes and were able to have deep conversations with baristas on the coffee. Knowledgeable staff is a great plus. Because the aficionados are the ones that will give a cafe its true buzz.

Hands down the best coffee place in Zamalek. The place offers a wide variety of coffee both hot and cold. The prices are reasonable. Also, each cup is perfectly prepared and is consistent from my experience. The pastries taste great, I recommend the brownies! Overall, a nice cafe for coffee lover and casual coffee enjoyer alike.

Great cafe!! We ordered a V60 & a latte, both were exceptional! We also bought some beans for the road! Would definitely recommend!

They make the coffee in a fascinating way that make the resultant coffee will shock you. The place is a little bit small but has a nice unique design, it is good for a quick rest and couples. Also the barista is very kind.

I had a wonderful time at Kavun, a cozy coffee shop with very sweet baristas. Mariam made me an iced V60 that was strong and full of flavors, and a flat white that was balanced and creamy. She was very nice and attentive, and made sure I was satisfied with my drinks. The coffee shop is located in a quiet street, and has a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the music, the books, and the art on the walls. I think Kavun will be my next comfort zone for a long while. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee and friendly service.
