My Keralite friends never told me about this place. And from the crowds I saw, it seems they want to keep the place to themselves for obvious reasons, this place is a gem! The star of the show here is the parotta. Fresh, flaky, soft in the middle, and elevates anything you eat it with! I tried the beef roast, chicken, and beef fry, all were good, and I will keep on trying other menu items. Also try their karak, easily the best in Dubai.

This place is famous among the Keralites of India 4 its super soft porottas and beef fry. I have been here multiple times. Although u get different varieties of Kerala food, I have had only the porotta and beef fry. The porotta is soft, light and fluffy. Its smaller than the normal porottas, but definitely one of the best porottas that I hav had till date. The beef is soft and tasty. Its cooked well and easy to chew. Parking is available nearby the restaurant itsef. The service is good. This place is always crowded. So waitin time is always guaranteed. But despite that, they try to bring the food as quick as possible. Nothg gr8 2 speak of the ambience. They have tables inside the restaurant as well as outside on the entrance. Due to the huge turn out, they hav been frequently expanding this restaurant, goin over to the next shop and next... Pricing is reasonable though its slightly on the higher side.

Very good food, famous place among the South Indian people in UAE, ample parking area around, tables outside with shade and Air-conditioning. This place has almost everything and most of the time you have to wait 10-20 minutes for getting a table for lunch or dinner since they are quite busy. The only problem in this place is improper service. It seems like their staff thinks no matter what there is a lot of people coming so, it doesn’t really matter if we don’t serve them well, as long as the food is okay, people will keep coming. In a way, the taste of their food makes sure the customers will come again. I have personally find their curries a bit too oily, but when it comes to taste they don’t disappoint.

Dubai is full of amazing south indian restaurants. Aaraamam is no exception. Very tasty food. My husband and I had the lunch set menu with fish fry on the side whilst the kids had the parotha with beef fry. All were delicious. Kids highly recommend the soft parothas whilst the fish curry that comes with the set menu is to die for.

Suggested by Renjit Steps. When Ranjit asked if we could have a cup of tea, he went along. It's good to go with it anyway. That's why I like samovar chai and beef fry. I was able to eat set dosa too. Beef fry is my favorite. Country style beef fry and so is the chai. Their service is very good. That is why many people come and eat there. There are many restaurants in Karama, but in my opinion, Aramam is one of the top 10 listed restaurants.

I am a proud customer of this restaurant for 19 years. When you think of authentic south Kerala dishes, Aaraamam is the best choice. Very good service, energetic service sraff, like Jerry, Sajeev, Karna, Manu, Krishna, Kali, Alam, ect..

This place holds a lot of nostalgia for me because it was my first restaurant to dine in when I came to Dubai in 2015. Back then, they served the most delicious sambar, idli, and medu vada, and the medu vada was impressively large. Over the years, I've revisited this restaurant many times, but I couldn't go there last year. Today, I returned for breakfast and noticed several changes. My beloved medu vada has shrunk in size. Tea glass has changed. The coconut chutney has turned watery. Red chutney has a sweeter taste. Most of the staff had changed. Now the staff has uniforms with their name on it. The taste was different, not necessarily bad, but not like it used to be. However, if you're looking for a Keralite breakfast, it's still worth a visit. The prices remain the same, but the portions have been reduced.

One of my most favorite and best restaurants in Dubai for authentic Kerala food. The taste is super amazing and the service is fabulous. Special mention to Mr Baby who is one of the best customer service supervisors I have ever come across. He makes sure that the food comes on time to your table and makes sure it is the same way you expected it to be.

Visited recently and was disappointed with the item I received. I have gone here almost 10-15 times here for their Beef Ularthiyathu item. Though their Porotta is top notch( soft, flaky and easy to eat) and consistent, their ‘Beef Ularthiyathu’ item has been inconsistent several times during my 10-15 times of visit. But whenever I have received their right version of Beef Ularthiyathu, it has always been the best in town. 💯 I only wish if they were consistent with this dish as its one of my favorites. Overall 3.5/5

Aaraamam in karama serves some homely tasting kerala cuisine. A favorite of all the keralites and also sea food lovers. It has that flavourful fish fry which is just yummm. I personally liked the food. They also serve some local kerala snacks and my fav among them all is the unniyappam😋 Do visit for some yummy kerala cuisine.

Being a dubai lad Aaraamam is best to me. They are all rounders in quality and customer satisfaction. They serves the best breakfast in karama. But luch ill not say that its up to the mark. Evening snacks along with their freshmilk tea is a mini heartattack Must Try: Vada with chutney

This place is great for enjoying authentic Kerala cuisine. The combination of porotta and beef fry is incredibly tasty, a true gem! The Kerala meals with the mouthwatering aviyal, sambar & fish fries are indescribably delicious. The most renowned Kerala restaurant as per the locals. It was really busy on Sunday but we tried again on a weekday evening. The beef fry, chicken curry and porotta tasted really good.

Visited aramam restaurant karama Went during the less rush time. The food was average compared to other restaurant in the neighbourhood. The quantity was too low, the table was not made . Lazy staffs and not at all customer friendly. Felt them a bit arrogant. Yet the cost comparatively was better than the others at karama. Spacious inside . POV: Only good for a one time try

The black color beef fry tastes nothing less than a good beef fry back in kerala ! They also serve chicken dishes ! Kanji set etc which are also favourites among customers Their tea is also great !

One place for nostalgia, comfort food!

We visited aramam for lunch on a weekday. The options were limited mostly to meals however the meals were excellent. We also had a biriyani, which in my opinion was the best I had in Dubai. The semia payasam that was served at the end was also excellent.

Firstly I was really surprised with all crowds outside the restaurant, then found out that this place is a really gem , serving the most delicious, authentic south Asian cuisine. We were really looked after by an amazing team who were very attentive and friendly. Our Waiter was Called “Baby” really looked after us and recommended these delicious traditional plates. The Dry beef is really nice , the butter chicken Was insane and may I say the Paratha was just divine we just wanted more and more parathas . Special thank To everyone who looked after us.

Aaramam is a best choice for tasty south indian dishes especially from Kerala. The snacks like kumbilappam,ilayappam,avalunda,pazhampori are great and tasty. Kumbilappam is little expensive ( 2.50 AED- per pc ). The beef fry,chicken curry made with coconut mixes are also tasty. The less lighting is very comfortable for outside sitting and its a crowded ambient place. Fish curry fries are also nice there. Kallappam,Idiyappam are also great. Totally aaramam is super duper.

To be frank, the food was really tasty, same like homely taste and every item was fantastic. Very good ambience and plenty of outdoor seating too. Quality of food and taste is excellent. Then why 2 stars? For the customer service I received, don't know about others, but my experience was bitter. Served rice very quickly but, sambhar or any type of curry never came our way, even after asking once nobody served until we finished, irony is they served the curry to the table next to us, who came after us. Also the milk ordered by that guy was delivered to us. When I complained this to the cashier, he just heard and neglected, no wonder the staff became like that. Every business depends on customer satisfaction also, please do remember that.
