This branch of Lulu opened in February, 2015. It is relatively small but probably also the most crowded. It is located in or to more aptly put is the basement of Salam Mall. It’s a nice place to visit, it has LuLu hupermarket which is a big shopping place and has many things, the basics and more, so anything you need you can find it there, there are also shopping places for men, women and children, there are cafes if you want to sit down with friends and have a meal or coffee and enjoy your time there, right now not everything is open, there are still some shops and restaurants closed but i would say around half of the stores are open and working perfectly

Very good place for Indian community in Salmiya for the purchase of Indian groceries and fresh vegetables. The hypermarket also has electronic products, cooked foods, and household materials. Place has many stores, the Hyper market is superb but the parking is horrendous. No markings of any king which makes people park crazy. Getting in and out the parking is a quest all in itself and that's why not 5 stars. So have to say plenty of taxis if you don't own you own transportation.

Supervisor of the meat shop was busy on the phone. and for the first time as a customer my request was denied literally didn't care... Now asking to pay first and then do the cutting or cleaning of meat and fish. A dedicated section for Fresh fruits and vegetables which again offers local and international produce. Separate sections for fish, meat and chicken are available. A hot foods section which offers freshly cooked food is available. An overall great shopping experience to buy any grocery item. The parking does get crowded and time consuming to get an empty spot during peak hours.

Lulu is very "small person's" dream and it even gets better for us non citizens. The Lulu chain has mastered the art of having provisions from numerous countries, for example am originally from Uganda, and I have always found my beloved Matooke (special green banana native in my country) in any Lulu based in Oman, Bahrain, Dubai and now kuwait. This also speaks to their purchasing department, the fact that they are willing to seek out or respond to service providers from different countries. And still sell these provisions at a reasonable price to a "low income earner". The staff have always been helpful especially when trying to buy something on sale 😍 they don't act like you are bothering them even if you don't end up buying it (please don't take advantage of this, be kind, be humane) Lulu wants to make you feel like you are home.

I had to stand at the checkout for a long time because of the slow cashier. This is still half the trouble. I got a product that I didn't even SEE. It's on the receipt but not in the package. Staying here was a pleasure. As expected of this hotel, it lives up to its name. Every corner was spotless, from the lobby to our room. Alcohol sprays were everywhere to ensure cleanliness. The staff were so nice and accommodating.

Just on my way to return fresh produce that was very badly gone off when I got it home. Not the first time it’s happened, and this time I’m making the journey back on principle. Will update this review with the result.
