    [ACCOR DIAMOND MEMBER] Just checked-out after 4 nights at The Canvas Hotel Dubai - MGallery + Upgraded to the highest category + Breakfast is nice with excellent juices - The room was two floors above a night club which is located with the premises of the hotel. On the first night, the noise level was incredible. They were playing techno music until 4am. We brought this information to the reception but nothing was changed and we ended up having a sleepless night. Same story on the second night and asked to see the GM at midnight. They stopped the music during 30 minutes and then the music was back. In the morning, we requested to change the room and the new room was really quiet. Kindly note that this issue is not new as I saw few comments on Google ( more than one year ago) but the management is not taking the topic seriously. The staff at the reception was even smiling when we were mentioning the issue to them... - The lounge is small with a very tiny choice of food. - The location of the hotel is pretty bad, far from everything. 20 minutes from the closest metro station. Expect to use the taxi all the times Summary: 1/5 - You should avoid this hotel in Dubai.

    Nice and designed hotel. Rooms are big with modern design and amenities. However sink needed replacement as it was stained and yellowish. Service - on the low end. Had to encourage twice in order to get the room cleaned when the housekeeping skipped cleaning. Requests to fill the soap container remained unanswered. It's not a bad hotel and you can certainly enjoy staying there, they simply need to improve service level.

    Comfortable mid sized hotel in between the old and new district of Dubai, perfect for a base before or after a cruise. The staff and fantastic, warm, welcoming and attentive at all times. The rooms are large, modern and well equipped, however they need more attention to cleaning parts of the room like behind tables and in the curtains as they are really dusty. An impossible task in a desert climate but important too. We would highly recommend this hotel as it is easy to get around by taxi to everything tourists want, just budget for this in your planning as there is little to walk to in the heat if you have mobility problems. Also download a map on your phone as taxi drivers struggling to find it so a map is very helpful. The rooftop bar and pool is great but pricy, we spent a lot of down time there as again the staff and food were wonderful. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant buffet which we fantastic and I missed it a lot the one night we went out to eat. The presentation and variety were outstanding and the chef should be commended for the quality and imagination, we both loved the food. The wait staff were excellent and a tribute to the hotel.

    All the staff were extremely lovely and helpful. Everything that we asked them to do they did no problem. Breakfast staff were also willing to make anything requested Bed was big and comfy. Lovely and clean everywhere however the pool was a bit small and shut at 5pm. Also not any view from the rooms

    This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Awful service! Unprofessional staff, dirty rooms, smelly beds. Very bad cleaning service! Reception/concierge are ultra slow and continuously forget what you ask of them! They pretend to be a 5 star hotel - it is not! Loud music playing in their lounge which is disrupting the sleep! Never stay at that hotel!!!

    Absolutely fantastic stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the start. Our room was clean, spacious. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, ensuring everything was clean and tidy during my entire stay. The attention to detail was exceptional, and they even left lovely personalized touches that made us feel special. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I can't wait to return and experience their warm hospitality again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.

    Stayed 6 nights and probably the worst hotel I have ever used in Dubai , this is NOT 5 star, at the best 2. Entry and exit to the hotel via a side door which is dimly light, the stairs have no handrail and it's simply dangerous The hotel is vastly overpriced for what it delivers. Room cleaning lacks attention to detail, damaged furniture and stained carpets. Staff are not customer focused and some a little rude. If you want to stay awake until 0330 most morning listening to nightclub music and thumping beats then this is your hotel of choice as it's impossible to get a good night's rest. This hotel should not be part of Accor chain as it fails to meet the mark

    It’s my first time here in Dubai, and I loved how the hotel welcomed me. I loved every detail about this hotel, the room, the staff, the gym, rooftop and the breakfast. I booked a normal room then I found out that I was eligible for a free upgrade to the Executive Suite. The location is almost 10 minutes away from the downtown, and it’s easy to access. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

    Booked this hotel just 2 nights prior to my arrival and got a good deal. Got confused with the hotel entrance when I arrived though… The room was spacious and cozy. Just what I needed after an exhausting day. Experience was 5-star indeed. Also thanks to the reception Rebecca for being hospitable and friendly when I approached for my booking - great customer service👍🏻

    The worst hotel experience till date. Kindly save your money and don’t book this so called 5 star hotel! Unclean & stinky rooms being sold at premium rates - unethically! I have never been quick to review a place but this has been my worst experience in a hotel till date. Stayed here for 5 nights (we booked 4 Rooms) here’s my honest review: Firstly please don’t get fooled by the lobby and reception area. It look all fancy but it’s about the other details that make this place a terrible place to stay. The hotel rooms stunk ( misty and unpleasant smell). This is the worst hotel i have ever been to. Extremely dirty. The room smells so bad that it killed our holiday vibe. We all regret our stay so much. They have put nice pictures on the website but it’s completely opposite in reality. I don’t know how they are able to get a tag of 5*. I have stayed in many hotels but this is not even a 3* star hotel. This whole experience was the biggest regret. If you plan a Dubai trip, stay away from this 5* hotel because it’ll just kill your vacay vibe with their dirty, stinky rooms!

    Giving 1 start review. Worst customer service I've ever had in a hotel. Staff is rude and always gives wrong/different information. The rooms are dirty, they come very late to "clean", food in the hotel is the worst, constant noise from the bar/clubs they have, carpet rooms not being clean properly. Honestly it is better to look for different hotel choices. The staff is rude to my girlfriend but when I go and talk they behave totally different. They were trying to overcharge us ... Better choice another hotel be aware!!!!

    We had an excellent stay. Lobby is impressive but car park entrance would benefit from fragrance as it smells of stagnant and old water. Very spacious and large bathroom. Bathtub was huge and water pressure was fantastic. Good amenities. Towels were extra large and good quality. However, there was a strange smell of old water or old wood. It does need updating especially the corners as they have become orange due to water use over time.

    We loved the proximity to Indian restaurants and shopping centers. Breakfast was good, 1-3 Indian options were available everyday in the buffet. Rooms were clean, but bathrooms could be better. We did not like the response time and we had to call multiple times for the same request. We had to wait so long for the room to be assigned and were not even offered water. People who came after us were offered rooms but we were kept the waiting with no proper hospitality. Also they have a club downstairs which plays loud music well into the night, sometimes till 1 am which was disturbing. And they continued playing music even after requesting. We had a view of the cemetery which wasn't expected. Apart from this the stay was good.

    I had high hopes for my honeymoon, and I made it clear to the hotel in advance that we were celebrating this special occasion. However, the room we received was far from what we expected. Upon entering the room, we were shocked to find bloodstains on the chair, and there were suspicious white stains on the couch. The bathroom was no better, with the bathtub and sink full of limescale buildup, making it unpleasant to use. The condition of the floors was also unacceptable, showing signs of significant wear and tear. In an attempt to salvage our honeymoon, I politely requested to cancel our reservation, but to my dismay, we were charged for two days of our stay. This experience left us feeling trapped and frustrated. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

    An extraordinary emotion was left by the bed linen, which was made of really good material. He didn't even want to get out of bedclothes. The food selection at breakfast is very wide, very tasty, taking into account many different tastes and ethnicities. The selection of plant-based food is very large and tasty. Beet juices have never been found in any hotel before. Good and different healthy smoothies, the likes of which you have never met. Very good bean coffee from the machine, and according to a special request it was served with soy milk. Display of hot food in attractive and well-warmed cast iron pots. Very attentive and fast serving staff at breakfast. I also liked the use of room fresheners in both common areas. There was also a pleasant smell in the room, although the room deodorizer was not detected.

    Amazing hotel with great service and room cleaning was perfect. We asked for extra water bottles which was given so quick. Kajal from housekeeping was so kind and very helpful Lobby is so beautiful and very spacious.

    The hotel lobby looks a lot more modern and chic than the hotel room. The brown color carpet shows a lot of stains. The room has a weird design for the washroom, shower and bath tub - total 5 doors in those area! The check in procedures are not efficient. We got in the hotel at noon (before the regular check in time). They reviewed our passports and credit card. When we finished our tour and back to the hotel at 8pm, they needed to see our passports and credit card again! They also were not able to send our luggages to the room until our second check in at 9pm. Despite its noted as 5-star hotel, I feel it’s more than 3.5-star.

    *Location - The hotel is a bit far from the metro. If you are looking forward to using the metro, you have to walk around 1-2 km. *Room - rooms is spacious. Good. Bathroom - There is no drainage system in the sink area and bathtub area. So if you accidentally spilled water, it won't get dry soon. It has to be evaporated. *A/C - centralised A/C located in the living area. In between the bed and living area, there is a partition which reduces the cool air flowing into the room. So sometimes it gets hot. *Service - Staff is very helpful. *Breakfast - Good *Cleanliness - room is cleaned. *View - It does not have a great view.

The room had a persistent bad smell, and accessing the hotel was inconvenient due to the lack of a main gate; instead, guests had to go underground. Surprisingly, the bathroom lacked basic amenities like a toilet brush and hair dryer. Additionally, the restaurant was disappointing, with dirt and dust on the dinner tables. The view from the hotel was unimpressive, offering no glimpse of Dubai's real beauty or its iconic architecture—just some old buildings. The hotel’s claimed five-star status is not reflective of the disappointing reality, potentially misleading customers seeking a genuine luxury experience.

    The hotel is nice and comfortable. The rooms are spaces but need better ventilation. The windows does not open, so we couldn’t really feel fresh air. In the bathroom some of the accommodation needed better to be taken care. The cleaning was good and every day. The area of the hotel isn’t very good, it is located in dirty and crowded old area. The lobby was nice, most of the people too. I have only suggest to think better about the pool service, where we ‘ be waited more than 20 minutes for food menu and never receive it. Also the sofas and tables on the last floor need much better cleaning.

    The Front desk team was amazing. Checkin was so smooth. The team was very helpful and welcomed us with a sweet smile. We felt very happy with warm welcome of the front office staff. The rooms were so fresh bedsheets were spotless. Bathroom was well stacked with the towels and amenities will surely visit again.

Special mention to MS. DEEPALI who treated us very nicely. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends when they are in Dubai..     It's a great Hotel with commendable services. My experience was enhanced with Ms. Deepali Kushwaha's great hospitality (from housekeeping). Would have given 6 stars if that would have been an option. She's good with her work, knows how to handle things and very good with communication. She has always added a personal touch during our stay. Must visit !!

    Staying here was comfortable This is a cheapest 5 star hotel may be. That’s why demand used to be higher. I got it in 80$ around per night. That was a good deal indeed. Breakfast was good. But lounge is small and becomes crowded when people gather. Entry is from basement and for room you have to change lift twice that’s a bit irritating for some people. But lifts are fast. Overall experience was quite good Recommended

    The location is suitable probably to the Indian/Asian community as all if any shops around are Asian. The entrance to the hotel is impossible if you are walking in or out.. The rooms were decent only complaint was the bathrooms which were extremely slippery specially for kids. My child slipped both times she entered the bathroom during her shower. The breakfast was horrible the pastries were all dry and tasteless. The food for example sausages were dreadful. And lastly to our bad luck when leaving both the lifts that took you to the basement to get into your cab were out of service. All in all the place was suggested to us and we will not be visiting the hotel again. Unfortunately it wasn't for us.

    Wow 🤩 just wow what an amazing hotel, ❤️❤️, Amazing cleaning in hotel , room was fantastic. 100% marks for cleaning crew , cleaning staff is so nice , Parking very clean , Bathroom is very new & clean 💥❤️. I feel like staying another 5 days here - everything is perfect, only problem was AC temperature & location of hotel, rest all was just superb . 😊😊, room decoration was superb. Housekeeping made my day-

    I must this truly wonderful and value for money property. Located in old Dubai 15 minutes drive from airport. Their rooms ambience service is top notch. Really enjoyed my time here. Their usp in rooms is bathtub . Fully fledged bathtub you can relax and enjoy, can spend quality time here. Staff is professional and polite.

    Everyone at the hotel were lovely. Especially Mildred in the Executive Lounge. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were beautiful and the Suite was perfect, and worth the extra cost. It has a nice Gym and great pool area. The ambiance is great. Front desk staff were always helpful, and I watched them attend to a difficult guest with grace and kindness.

    Naveen house supervisor was excellent. Made you feel welcome and respected. Patient and always wanting to help with your needs. I couldn’t complain about anything at all. Everyone is very polite and I highly recommend. If anything needed fixing they’d fix it immediately. Decorations were perfect. Would definitely visit again.

    We stayed at this location for 13 days and it was a good experience. We were celebrating our first year anniversary and they sent us a chocolate cake. It was nice of them. Also they were a local party in November that they mix all the dry fruits and juices together. They invited us to the party on Friday evening and it was fun. Overall it's a good hotel. Also they have a pretty large bathroom with a tub which I liked it.

    An unexpected surprise! We booked this place on hotwire not knowing what too expect. The inside architecture was gorgeous, the staff went out of there way too help and make you feel special. The rooms where very well done with the right amount of attention to detail. We never planed too stay here but we are extremely glad we did.

    A great hotel brought to excellence by the exceptional service. The buffets both breakfast and dinner are just average, the other challenge is the location, though it is in Bur Dubai. However the service is very attentive, polite and they do take the extra effort to ensure the customer's comfort. Shout out to the Duty Mgr Anish, his staff at reception, and others at the F&B outlets and the Concierge, many thanks!

    I am really happy to stay in the canvas hotel Dubai MGallery hotel. My room is very clean and nice . Specifically I want to thank Mi Mi housekeeping supervisor and San San , Kishor is very nice guy and always smiling and helping me during my stay. The Bathroom also was very clean. I will recommend to about the this hotel to my friends . They have buffet breakfast with lots of variety in veg and Non-Veg including hot and cold beverages with awesome taste and quality, Really appreciate with fulfilling of all requirements.

    This hotel needs to classed as a 3star hotel. The smells in the room are awful. The fridge or the shower were not working. The hotel needs to review what they put on the website as some of it is not true. Yes no doubt there are some lovely staff working here always willing to help. But the only way the hotel can improve is to make sure that everything is in working order and to get rid of the smells from the rooms. I could only last a few days in this hotel. The location is not great and the view is not great.

    I have to agree with the other reviews here. The rooms had a weird smell and they could not fix it, the nightclub downstairs had a really heavy bass, there is no entrance and it‘s not a good location if you want to use public transport as it is more a residential area and we had to wait to get a table at breakfast - also the selection could have been better. All in all I would say it is not a 5 star hotel. Everything looks nice like a 5 star hotel but if you look closer, things are broken, the shower is old, the smell, breakfast,… I expected more and I would not stay there again.

    This is the first experience my stay. Hotel look so beautiful and nice atmosphere. I really enjoy with eveything. Room is clean and tidy. Service is amazing specially , thanks for your hospitality San San , Chit Phoo and Navin . You guy make me happy my stay. I give 100% recommend to stay here . We will be back again .
