Authentic north Indian Punjabi food you will find here. Indians will definitely love this place specially pure vegetarians as this is. Apure veg place. The food was really tasty. At first the service was quick but for second round of roti they were lil late. Ambience is too good. Fine dine. We ordered veg bhuna sabzi with dal tadka steam rice and tandoori roti

Best vegetarian restaurant for Thali. They have a good variety in Thali and you can refill as many times as you want. Ambience is really nice and cosy. Parking 🅿️ is an issue so keep some time handy to find parking. Staff is really courteous, energetic and helpful. All in all love to visit this restaurant for Thali and veg dishes

A decent priced restaurant with ample space for an evening family dinner. Food is really tasty and good. The service is a bit slow but the waiters are really friendly and kind. You get a decent choice of menu and mocktails. One of the best Faloodas I have ever tasted in Dubai. You get a lot of noise inside the restaurant during busy hours just because of the ceramic cutleries. Some of the best dishes are Burnt Ginger Fried Rice, Sheekh Kebab Masala, Malai Kofta etc.

We recently visited Kamat restaurant in the Karama Mankhool branch. The restaurant was very spacious and clean. They have few yet interesting mock tails of which we tried the Mango chilli drink. The dahi batata puri which we ordered was also very crispy, light and with the right mix of spices to tickle your taste buds.

Ordered delivery from Kamat for the first time and saw the 'must try' Veg Briyani. So I went for it coz it's my favourite dish and briyani is life... and... Im so glad I did, it was so flavorful together with the thick raita. Good job Kamat!!!

Kamat Vegetarian restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. Tasty North Indian dishes are my favorite from the entire menu. Good Service and good atmosphere. Thali was super but the Jini Dosa was disappointing. It was established in the year 1992. Today, they have 7 branches across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Paid Parking in front of the restaurant.

Taste: Not so great and Couldn’t feel the flavor in most of the food. (There are veg restaurants who serve better and tasty food) Service: Not worth of what we are paying. Waiter was not so sure about the place for me to sit even though the restaurant was completely empty. (I had to walk towards almost 3 tables to let him decide my table) Customers with family are explained about the food by the waiter but if you are alone don’t expect them to attend you properly for the main and repeated orders. Price: Higher but not worthy. Ambiance: Good and Clean Combined: Good for show off but not for hunger.

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in Dubai. My parents visit the restaurant at least twice a month in Dubai. During our recent visit to Kamat Restaurant, we indulged in a gastronomic adventure through the flavors of South Indian cuisine. Each dish, from the aromatic Pav Bhaji to the fluffy Vada Pav, was meticulously prepared to perfection. The Spring Masala Dosa, with its crisp edges and harmonious blend of flavors, was particularly remarkable. Kamat is the go-to destination if you seek an authentic Indian dining experience with delectable food. It comes highly recommended for a truly unforgettable experience. My favorites are Cheese Uttampham, Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Soup and Vegetable sandwich. Zomato - @dishtadvani #DishtApproved

Worst food ever, pale food, bad behavior of managers and waiters, we ordered paneer Tikka masala, dal tadka, and others. Their behavior is like that customers are beggars and they are providing food for free. In Paneer tikka Sabzi - they have added paneer Tikka tandoori starter and put gravy.

It's been 3 years since I have last visited Kamat. Been craving for their Thali meals, with those hot puris.. Oh boy, this never disappoints!! My Arab wife, who is really picky with her food, loves the Thali option in Kamat. Must say, they have a very friendly set of staffs and they do pretty good job between the kitchen and the service tables. The few extra minute of wait to get a table is worth it!! #Indiancuisine #Thali #vegetarian #Kamat #healthygreens

Had pavbhaji and dal khichdi. Pavbhaji was nothing like what we get in india. Pav is sweet in taste which makes it horrible. Bhaji is ok but not up to mark and even quantity is less. Dal khichdi is ok. A piece of advice please source pav from Vaibhav it will be edible at least.

Kamat has repute and are a go to for the delicious South Indian, but we tried their north Indian cuisine this time. The appetizers were nice and main course too, but the curries could have been better. The portion sizes was average and on par. Disappointed with the service as waiters seemed inattentive at times. They weren't that busy, so expected better service. Moreover, we weren't served or asked if we wanted the usual customary salads and pickle, however, 1 waiter casually placed them before us, just as we were finishing our meal.

Went to this restaurant after our half-day sightseeing tour of Dubai. We were really hungry and tired and this place had not only comfortable sitting but also great Indian food. We had Masala dosa, Biryani, Chilli Paneer, Mixed Veg and Butter Naan and all of the items were well prepared and delicious.

Always the best place to have Indian variety of Breakfast, but tried Meals(thali) this time, I think it is not meant for this I think.... Too much of bean kind in the items less textured, we should add salt again to feel the taste... Even after that taste doesn't effect much.... 3 star is for its breakfast items... BIGGEST ISSUE IS THE PRICE TOO...

I and my family had an amazing time there. Just a few suggestions: ÷ you can increase the dining space as the restaurant is usually fully occupied. ÷May want to increase the sabji quantity. ÷ Everything else was amazing. Keep it up.

Kamat has a great service and they offer a very nice selection of Indian foods. Since moving to Dubai, my family and I have been regulars in this restaurant and throughout the years, I can confidently say that the quality of their food and their hospitality had never dropped. I ordered home delivery, and despite warning me that they may be slightly delayed, they arrived with my food much earlier than i expected. And of course, the food was delicious as always. They followed all my special instructions to a T. Very satisfied! Thank you :)

👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Staff don't know how to talk with customer at all...poor quality food served half cooked no taste they don't know what is aloo paratha is and staff members argued when we complained.....there are much more good options for vegetarian restaurants....I will suggest to search for better option than visiting such place where they don't even know how to talk to customer.... Worst experience ever👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We ordered Chole Bhature and we got big half burnt Poori instead Bhature with unacceptable quality of chole ( without hot serving) And when we asked Staff to check then he taken immediate action which i appreciate it. I am a customer of Kamat since 2009. And this is the first time where i am getting disappointed. Quality and Customer Service need to be improved.

Kamath is reputed vegetarian restaurant chain in Dubai. There are plenty of good options in terms of south Indian and north Indian dishes. There are South Indian and north Indian thalis. People are courteous.

We ordered Paper dosa, Masala dosa, Podi uttappam, Ravva dosa. Shockingly none of these food items are good to eat. No taste, dosas don't have oil or butter. Kamat did not meet the basic expectations. Just wasted our money here.

  • 4/5 Saunskar M. 3 months ago on Google New
Decent dosas, nothing to write home about. The masala tea I got was terrible, I talked to the manager and he handled the situation well, apologizing profusely and removing the tea from our bill.

This is one of the more popular vegetarian restaurants in Dubai. It’s a typical Indian restaurant with an extensive menu serving North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese food. Visiting on a fairly busy Diwali evening, they were quick to help us get a table for four. Appreciate that. We ordered: ➖ Dahi batata puri ➖Papdi chaat ➖Veg seekh kebab ➖Hara bhara kebab ➖Sarso ka kabab ➖Kaju matar masala ➖Assortment of breads Both the kebabs lived up to my expectations, succinctly cooked, well grilled exterior and juicy from within. 👍 The dahi batata puri and papdi chaat, though different dishes, tasted the same. Moreso because of the overuse of sweetened dahi (curd) which overpowered any other flavor. So, a less than satisfactory chaat experience.😐 The main course was decent, nothing exceptional, but nothing spectacularly bad about it. 🙂 While the chaat and the kababs were served in a reasonable time, the main course took exceptionally long. 😕 But I guess it can be attributed to the Diwali evening, so willing to let this one slide What disappointed me was the lack of presentation when it came to food – I get that this is not a fine dine, but it isn’t a budget street joint either. It almost made me feel uninterested in the food. But overall, a decent experience and it still is a very promising place. Will definitely be planning another visit and hoping for a better experience.

Rich and thick textured indian gravy recipes. Indulge in the south indian version of most indian food recipes and experience courteous service from the team. Usually noisy but one of the better known places for vegetarian indian food in Dubai.
