First, there were now shade in the parkings and in this heat the car is going to be a flaming hell hole by the time we get back (not what you expect for the price you paid). Second, the beach water was dirty and filled with stones my friend got injured and cut her foot!! We also almost drowned we saw death because there was a high wave (and we don’t know how to swim) and there was no life guard or any floats!! nothing!! When we asked for first aid for the injury, not all of them were experienced (we literally had to teach them how to wrap the injury!!) and gave us false feedback said it will heal on its own but we later found out it needs stitching! ++ The buggy takes a long time to arrive. The villa itself is nice though

I booked a day pass with friends and we were not treated well. The difference in treatment between day pass and residents is ridiculously obvious and ruins the overall experience. Service went really down since a year back which is surprising considering they increased their price considerably. In addition, the facilities, towels and tables are not well maintained and worn out. If day pass guest are not the priority, the management should stop it rather than neglect the guests.

On arrival on the 25th myself and my family a total of 11 visited the island, and it was a very disappointing experience. The service we expected was not the service we received, we arrived at the island at 11am, no information was provided and when we did receive the information this was incorrect. It took over 2 hours from 11am to 13:20 for restaurant information and 40 minutes to receive a menu in which we got ourselves, it seemed extremely difficult to get something so simple as a menu? The staff confirmed only 1 restaurant was to be open in the evening which was the Mexican restaurant and we were also misinformed of the location of the restaurant, we seemed to be chasing information continuously, we discovered later on in the evening all restaurants was open, how was this ? Please note the information provided regarding the restaurant was from restaurant staff at the brunch area, At one point my family was told by staff that they don’t deal with day stay attendees only long stay attendees is this suitable? We did make this known to the management, Later on in the evening we ordered food and this caused some confusion as it didn’t come as ordered, also having to request to remove the used starter plates and provide new plates for the mains, We was a family of 11 who planned to spend the Christmas at the resort with the expectation of a special experience, but was the total opposite I would definitely not recommend!

One of the best staycations you can possibly have in the UAE. We were going for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 nights. The villas, the food, the scenery, the staff and everything else is absolutely top notch! The one thing I'd like to see more of though is a better dessert selection from room service.

Large and spacious villa, needs to be renovated. The pools seems clean but looking carefully it need to be cleaned properly. The garden need to be trimmed and properly maintained since it’s overflowing on the sun bed next to the pool

Do not make a reservation here. Cancelled on one days notice and we have travelled all the way from Australia post COVID lockdown. Would not recommend, would rather stay at Maldives with great service 👎🏼👎🏼

It's a nice place but there was so many problems with our rooms and for the price paid I would want to have a perfect room but door was not closing. Maintenance came 2 times. AC super noisy, TV problems and the curtains couldn't be closed automatically. Wanted to come every month there but definetely will find a better option.

Amazing island .. but I have comments on the private boat price it’s too much & exaggerated.. my friend missed the boat she was 2 mins lates of the 10 extra minutes they always give .. then she took a private boat .. she paid 1500Dhs & after negotiations with them she paid 1000Dhs which is also too much .. they did it wait for her while she was on the parking running .. also they didn’t respect that we are a loyal customers we always come to nurai .. they need to rethink k about the price it’s tooooooi much !!!

What a special day, not only was the brunch amazing, the staff were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Tony went out of his way to ensure we had the best time. The drinks and food offering was perfect and the bar tenders were very friendly and super fast. We stayed till 10pm, felt like the Maldives. I can highly recommend to visit

Less than normal island beach resort , we went on a day pass , two pools were available, they informed us that kids are not allowed in one , yet kids were everywhere and no action taken , the service was very poor with respect to the hefty amount you pay. The pool bar in one of the pools open after 1 pm and yet after it opened no food was available as they don’t have chef and the kitchen equipment was not working … so we had to go to the international restaurant and the food quality was terrible. The food taste was awful and bland … the fries had fishy taste and they replaced after we finished eating…. The portions were so small and in the end the bill was extremely expensive…. Not worthy at all….. in the pool the waiter kept forgetting to bring order and being super late and bringing wrong things that while no more than 20-25 people were there. We were a group of six and all of us had the same bad experience. Not worthy at all.

Day pass for 550pp with family. You get 200dhs back pp for F&B. Gorgeous island that has very nice white sandy beaches with clear blue water. You can take 500ml water on the island but no other FB. Recommend going to the 2nd beach bar rather than the first. Much nicer vibe - hammocks, water swing, comfy lounges and pizza menu 👌

Everything was great. My friends & i had a great time there. We were total of 5, twp stayed the night and three returned to Abu Dhabi city. Though Nurai had lots of water sports, we prefered to chill at the villa and went out for dinner at the mexican restaurant. Though i like mexican food, I personally liked the Lebanese restaurant more :) the staff are friendly and great and of course the vills was lovely. By the way this is the second time i book at Nurai, first timd was back in September 2020.

We pay a lot but the service is so cheap, the curtain almost fills down! The bathroom all the iron are rust! They must close one villa every time and do maintenance for each, we asked for a birthday cake and they said for sure we will bring it but they didn't bring it!! In the end, before we leave the villa the staff come to check the items!! They must wait after we leave and they can come in and check.

Worst reservations and front desk team. Their front desk manager Adeem (we believe that’s his name as he refused to disclose it or take any accountability) was the worst. He spoke rudely to our friends wife after his reservation team gave us wrong & recorded commitments. Can you imagine a hotel manager telling a lady guest in presence of kids - I don’t care (about wrong commitments) and do what you want? Quite shameless being in the hospitality industry that they believe in defending their mistakes with arrogance than managing customer experience.. When we told him we will put this on review, he said I don’t care & ran away to hide in a room behind the reception like a coward. We were amused now knowing whether to laugh at the experience or continue being upset. We refuse to go back here to uphold our dignity.

Maldives in Abu Dhabi. Really unique place with crystal clear water and beautiful beaches. It has great facilities for kids. Including a huge splash park.

When we pay a high price we must get a wonderful experience, and the simplest example of this is the bathrobe and towels they are over used !! I hope they change because they are very bad, The best thing about the hotel is the location

Very amazing place , who want to have a unique place to relax . You can reach the island by boats it take around 20 minutes. You have to show your ID and make a register online . Each room has a private swimming pool. The beach is very clean.

We came there as guest of our boss and the male reception told us to go and get security pass even I told him that we registered as a guest. Then we just follow him and after of that he said "wait outside this area is for guest only." That is very rude reception guy. We visited March 16, at 10am

Mixed feelings. In a nutshell beautiful grounds but service in our experience is not five star. Stayed during Eid. Absolutely beautiful grounds, so intimate and private. The villas are beautifully spacious and the views give it the wow factor. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are pleasant. Sadly some negatives 1. Sloppy arrival - poor first impression at the welcome centre. No toilet paper and hand dryers didnt work. Upon arrival to the island we were carted off in a buggy and dumped at a beach bar that had no ac, sat in 40 degree heat with no word as to what was happening. We had to question the waiter as we were very confused. I was not prepared for sitting at a pool in 40 degree heat as all my luggage was taken somewhere else - again no communication. 1 hour later we were given our room. Once in our room a man came to the door talking about a spa booking we didnt have. All a bit messy. 2. No extra touches - we got engaged during our stay. A joyous moment in our lives so I was very surprised that Nurai didnt give some sort of celebratory gesture, especially as they knew in advance we were getting engaged during our stay. Apart from the standard welcome fruits there was no special touch. When i excitedly told concierge we got engaged i received a "congratulations." Thats it! Whilst Nurai is now of course such a special place for us I cant help but feel it lacked and would be really hesitant to go back. Subsequently the Nurai lacked is part of my engagement story.

The manager (mr Mohammed) is very gentleman and great guy but the staff are rude they kept us waiting for 13mins beyond schedule for another guest and when I went to pray they told me “if you pray we will leave!” No religion respect! island was empty, literally no one there except us time was 8pm in a weekend, restaurants are below average and they rip you off! Nothing similar to there instagram posts! No music No activities its was one of the worst experiences ever!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Must go, either in a couple or with friends. The buffet was amazing, one of the best I had. Everything was great quality and so much to choose from. They also have a grill outside. They have different venues, we went to 2 of them and both were great. You can also do water sports.

It is a beautiful place to visit. I had booked the beach villas. But I didn't like the private beach as it wasn't clean and full of rocks!!! Second thing is the trees in the island wasn't organized well.

1 night staycation for 3 gen family. Amazing place. Kids water park is great. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Only criticism is they don't provide any kind of milk/creamer for the inroom coffee/tea. Expensive but definitely worth it. Not a place to go to and penny pinch.

The island welcome centre is a great facility (terminal) easy accessied from the highway, the welcoming staff is very good and supportive, they will process your check in very smoothly. Good space to park your car (unshaded car park) free parking space.

Its very unfortunate for a hotel at this level to be not professional and not have staff with good costumer service experience, the staff is arrogant rude and not helpful We have spoke to abdul and ali and both spoke to us in a very arrogant way They did not mention that guests that do not stay over have to pay 360 dirhams and when we asked them that we will meet our friends in restaurant not villa they refused to book the restaurant and asked us to pay 500 dirhams for day pass

exclusive island in the beautiful sea in front of Abu Dhabi. the ferry takes you to this island, the room I had was with a swimming pool and private beach! the room for two very spacious with a large shower and a comfortable bed right in front of the window overlooking the sea! in the evening you can choose to go to one of the island's restaurants! you have bikes with which you can go around the island! there is a very nice beach with bar! it is worth going for at least 3 days to fully enjoy the relx that this place offers!

I really can’t have a good word to say about this experience… has to be the worse hotel I have ever been in UAE. It’s a shame it has so much potential I really wish professionals take over this property. I say this to hope the management do something positive
