Awesome place for family especially for kids, the play area is beautifully designed. The beach is very calm and the water is not deep. Good venue to relax and refresh.

Water is beach is too low. Hardly any tide trouble. So best place for outdoor barbecue. There are washroom facilities too. You can also hire a caravan on rent for a night out.

It is a great beach within the city limits. I went to this beach again almost after 3 years and to be honest I was surprised by how beautiful it was as compared to what I remembered . On low tide days we can go far away on small islands and there is hardly any one there so its great. Water is super clean beautiful as compared to what it is at the shore. It's like a completely different beach once you mange to cross the shore which is full of stones n weeds and shells. I have fallen in love with it. It has clean washrooms, enough shade and parking. Stag entry not allowed on this beach, but the other part of the beach is open to all. There are several caravans parked outside, one can rent it and have a great overnight stay at the beach. But not at the family beach side, on the other side.

Nice, calm, peaceful, vast, comfortable beach area, with shaded seating area making it a perfect relaxing spot for families. Bbq is NOT PERMITED in this area. 3 shaded open play areas for kids with different playground equipments for pure fun. Two seperate wash areas for female and male with facilities for handicapped. Also a nearby small Cabin mosque.

Clean not too busy. It is a nice combination with the nearby souq. Great activities to do there like riding camels and take a picture with a falcon. Very friendly there.

Great place for families nd enjoy weekend with cool breeze in winters. Good security guy’s available to help and the only downside is the presence of more quick shop shops rest it is a good place to go relax have some fun , beach is clean and good views

Great beach for all the family, with large playgrounds for children with swings and climbing frame for children, all under covered area. Clean showers and toilets are widely available. Lots of covered seating areas. Great clean sandy beach and clear blue water. Really enjoyed.

The beautiful and charming Al-Wakrah Beach. It was a beautiful and enjoyable visit and a good family place for outing and entertaining the family and children on that beach in the city of Al-Wakrah. This is the most beautiful thing that distinguishes the place, that it is intended for families only and the location is not far away It is not far from the city of Doha and you can reach it with ease thanks to the modern road network in Doha that connects Doha or all the cities of Qatar to each other.

Clean and Safe beach for family ..Though was little disappointed looking at how people threw so many food boxes openly rather then throwing it in bin..But cleaners just cleaned it in minutes..

A lovely family oriented beach. There is ample shaded seating areas on the beach and we found that there was another section of the beach a little further down from the initial family area. This is a nice place to have a barbecue or picnic with family and friends. It offers several children playgrounds and restrooms are available. There is ample parking space and the beach is relatively clean. The beach is also 10 minutes from Al Wakrah Public Garden. You will need to show your EHTERAZ before entry to the beach.

Good place in Qatar for a family outing, secured with parapet wall 🧱. Secured parking area entirely free of charge. Kids play area, small praying area, masjid, restroom, bathrooms for have a nap, bbq area all of this entirely free of charge. Well planned beach side. ⛱️

Very clean water and fewer stones than other beaches. No money is required to enter.

Not any food r snack joints. So have to carry your own food and water. Hence it’s deserted mostly. If you want a quiet private time can come here.

Best place to relax in your off day with your family. Recommend to take the foods with you.

Great experience for a family weekend out

My first trap was in Al Wakra today I feel is different world as Doha.

I visited in June. It's a nice beach for family. BBQ was not allowed at that time. We visited on weekdays and it was not crowded also. Visitors are allowed to swim also and the depth of the front sea is also low. Children's can also get into sea water and enjoy an evening perfectly. We suggest for a early morning or evening visit at this place

Cleanly maintained family beach area... with loads of options for kids to play as there's a separate play area available... its like a private beach maintained by resorts... we enjoyed the place with our kids...

Very clean quite and beautiful place to visit not crowded and you could see the stars ⭐️ ✨ I like this type of places because it gives me time to myself to relax and watch the stars and hear the waves voice 😩

Well it's exactly what you would expect a beach to be, we usually take the kids to the children playgrounds but had lots of complaints about the cleaningness of this place. They tried to take measures by preventing barbecues but you can still find skewers thrown around even till today. The kids playground needs a throughout cleaning and the sand needs to be properly cleaned but it's not extremely extremely bad.

A beautiful beach with lots of good restaurants for sea food lovers.
