I booked a night during Eid stay here for 45 plus VAT, which is considered cheap during Eid time when you don’t plan you holiday in advance, this place regularly like all places, the room’s accommodation fees is for half the price, so to be frank, you shouldn’t expect much! So an actually an A/C facility is what you are paying for 😆 Just to simplify it, this place doesn’t feel like a hotel or a motel, it’s like a modem farm house with two pools, and the place is very energy saving 😆 we were boiling in the salon area in entrance more than the outside we checked in there, no worries the lady was a nice lady he welcomed us and showed us the pool front room, although the pool was empty but I can understand, energy saving concept rules, the room was OK again for this very fair price don’t expect a hotel service, the area is safe, the people are very friendly and smily. If you didn’t book your holiday in advance, good place for a shower and sleeping. and no it’s not a dirty place like I ve read in one of the reviews, it’s clean simple and a fair price. Some people are very funny they want a five star hotel service for 20 JDs 😆 blesses to all

+ Very nice and helpful russian family running this nice and quiet place. The rooms are huge and clean. Car parking just outside and you're as close as you can get to the best beaches in Aqaba (they got us some snorkeling masks too). Nice breakfast (they even ask you what time is convenient for you to have it) and tips for snorkeling. Thank you for a tranquil stay!

SCUBA DIVING SCAM! Stayed here a few weeks ago and while the accommodation is adequate (not great), the owner is a fraud. Convinced me to pay for the PADI scuba diving course saying that it would make getting a fully open water course cheaper. He said he would fill out the forms and I should receive an email a few days later, however I never received that email and have contacted him since, but he kept saying he was busy and yet to fill out the forms. If I could give zero stars I would. Should have read the previous reviews before agreeing to pay. He also operates cash only, meaning we have no record of payment!

SCUBA DIVING SCAM - 0 Stars. Amer, the owner, is completely a scammer. He looks very friendly, as he want to help you every day. He will offer you a scuba diving PADI course for a "good" price, but once you leave the place he will get you money and won't do anything. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE.

+1 SCUBA DIVING SCAM - 0 Stars. We stayed there in September 2022, just we alone with nobody else in the hotel. AMER, the owner, is completely a SCAMMER. Convinced us to go for diving as a favour and a good price as "he is an instructor". We accept, but then he offered us to pay more for the PADI scuba diving course saying that it would make getting a fully open water course cheaper. He said that he would register us in PADI and we would get by email all the information in a few weeks, then we trusted him and we paid (he was son friendly by that time). We never received that email and we have contacted him since then, at the beginning he asked me for the information again to do it but in the last weeks he suddenly started to say that that wasn't the deal and he is not going to do anything, as if we were liars and getting all the money we paid for himself. The best hotel at Aqaba!!! Im very happy!!! Best of the best! The place is perfect. Pool is clean and Deep. Rooms are spacious. But the Best are the people. They helped us with transport, arranging trips etc. Also saved us a lot of money by recomending great people in wadi rum. Just perfect.

If you want someone to welcome you with a beautiful smile to leave you a comfortable impression and enjoy the calm and watch the stars while hearing your favorite music... Just you have come to here .

Nice place with lovely garden and nice host. If you ask, they can prepare tastefull fish meal and arrange some nice trip in the wadi rum, or any diving activities (even if we did not pass the PADI there).

If we could we would give 6 stars :) This place is a little paradise with two huge pools, like in an oasis! The hotel is very close to the public beaches ( 10min walking) with beautiful coral recifs! Good spots for diving and snorkeling!!! The bedrooms are big and clean with Aircon! The hosts are great, very welcoming, helpful and gave lots of good tips for things to do around. They arrange nice activities for us ( diving and wadi rum trip) and provided nice recommendations for restaurants! We also had breakfast (extra) and nice homemade fish diner !!!! Feels really at home! We recommend!!!!

Beautifull small vacation park. Big deep swimming pool surrounded by several rooms/appartments. Stayed here with a group of friends and had a great time! You do need a car or take a cab to get to Akaba, but it’s a nice quiet place. The owner is a very friendly man who can help with arranging snorkling/diving trips, anything else you need and he is also an amazing cook and provided us with a feast of a meal 2 nights. Would definitly recommend staying here.

We have been now for 2nd time here at Amers and Lilias Southern Star Club. We enjoy the chilled, cozy and family run atmosphere. All is perfect clean. Close to either public beach or like we done to Tala bay . Next time again and again :)

The hotel looks good from the outside and the host is friendly but it could be a lot better with just a little effort. What would really help would be: better lighting - one cold white bulb for a large room pained in brown is not good enough; mosquito nets; rule enforcement - a bunch of 20 something French women partying till 4am unchecked is not great; better maintenance - could hardly lock the door. What probably can't be helped is the immediate surroundings, which are a mixture of building site, dump and desert. Considering that we paid over 100 pounds per night in Dec, I'd expect a lot better for the location.

Friendliest hosts I had in Jordan. They make great fish too so stick around for dinner ;)

Really nice, cozy place! It's outside of the city, close to the southern beach. The owners are really helpful, you can rent a mask, and other snorkeling stuff there. If you want to try dive you can even in this place cause they have 2 deep pools. Rooms are clean and fresh, breakfast made by the owner was tasty - I can recommend this place for sure!

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s a nice family run place and the owner is a really nice guy and a dive instructor.

The service is very bad! And the hotel manager is so rude! The AC in the room is very old and does not work well, they did not provide us breakfast! It is very far from the city center and the road is under maintenance and the entrance is dangerous!

It's a great place to rest and relax. The hosts have created an amazing combination of arab and european culture. Extremely helpful, smiling, kind. It was a real pleasure living in their guest house. Delicious dinners, delicious lemonade ..... in beautiful surroundings. A small blue paradise in a desert country.

The host is very nice and helpful. About the place, room was clean but, with a big lizard. In my suggestion, they should provide a small garbage in the room, bottle of water, empty cups at least to have coffee or tea in the morning. Room kettle need to be checked for rust or calcification. At least they should provide a mosquito net to have a peaceful sleep as the mosquito machine in the room was not effective. Note: the property is not by beach, you have to walk or drive.
