I
recently
visited
Grand
Mall
Ajman
after
years
of
passing
by
on
the
main
road,
prompted
by
a
visit
to
Prime
Medical
Centre
on
the
ground
floor.
The
mall
is
quite
spacious,
but
the
underground
parking
can
be
confusing
due
to
inadequate
directions.
However,
it
offers
ample
parking
space.
The
entrance
from
the
parking
area
felt
dated,
reminiscent
of
a
bygone
era,
like
something
out
of
the
Soviet
Union.
The
escalators
also
showed
signs
of
age.
It's
clear
that
there's
underutilized
space
throughout
the
mall,
especially
on
the
ground
floor.
Upon
reaching
the
ground
level,
I
was
surprised
to
find
that
most
of
the
shops
and
restaurants
were
Chinese,
with
all
signs
in
Chinese
characters.
There
were
a
few
small
mobile
accessory
shops,
perfume
stores,
Chinese
groceries,
supermarkets,
and
restaurants.
I
also
noticed
Prime
Medical
Centre
in
a
corner,
complete
with
a
pharmacy
and
diagnostic
centre.
As
I
explored
the
mall's
three
floors,
I
noticed
that
many
shops
were
closed,
and
the
overall
atmosphere
lacked
tidiness.
It
seemed
that
mostly
bachelors
were
roaming
around.
On
the
top
floor,
I
discovered
Star
Cinema
and
some
Taiwanese
restaurants.
Overall,
Grand
Mall
Ajman
offers
a
unique
experience
with
its
predominantly
Chinese
offerings
and
a
somewhat
dated
ambiance.
It
could
benefit
from
some
renovations
and
better
utilization
of
space.
