Wow! Don't underestimate this place because of location. It's FRESH, crispy, delicious! Probably the BEST Spring Roll & Dumpling I've EVER put in my mouth! From the hot from the fryer crunch, the fresh sauce, they were amazing! The Pad Thai is probably more traditional than I'm used to (I'm guessing this is more authentic than the Thai/sushi/Hybrid places I've visited before.) It was tasty & delicious, but the Dumplings & Spring Roll had already blown me away, that this didn't. But, I ate like half of that container still (so, that tells you is was still good.) Next time, I'll try the Curry dish! The girl at the register was SUPER friendly, & quickly educated me on the menu, since this was my first trip in! Everything is to-go, which is fine, & expected in 2021, especially for a tiny place like this. Gentleman brought it out to my car was super sweet. I can't believe I've lived in Birmingham for a year, working nearby, & haven't tried this until now. Don't sleep on this. Even if you aren't the biggest Thai fan, go try the dumplings & spring roll. They have fried rice (as basic as one can get). Really. Go try them!

Tried Blue Pacific for the first time last night. We have never had Thai food before so it was a new palette for us. Teriyaki chicken was thin sliced chicken breast, grilled with a sweet teriyaki sauce. Served with veggies and rice. It was excellent. My wife tried the beef Pad Thai. Thin slices of marinated beef served over egg noodles. My wife is not a big adventurous foodie but she ate every bit and said it was great! Fried dumplings were crisp and flavorful! Excellent meal, will be back!

Best Thai food in Birmingham/Tuscaloosa area. Hard to get with their limited hours but so worth it. Went today 8/12/2023 and they were closed. I snapped a pic of the sign and as if 8/9 they’re closed until September. Was a real let down since we live in Tuscaloosa and actually made it over on a day they’re posted as being open.

Good Thai food. Ordered the house pad Thai and pad sew, it was the perfect balance of flavor. Also, enjoyed that it was not greasy. They were very busy on Saturday evening. The prices are very reasonable, we got 2 dishes for $22. Will definitely recommend this little spot.

This is an edit to the review below. The Pad Thai is the only dish I eat here. I give 5 Stars when I think someone goes that extra step, like the egg net they used to put on this dish. Not sure why, but they don't do this anymore. Too bad, it made a good place, amazing in my opinion...... I try Pad Thai everywhere I Go, and Blue Pacific absolutely has the best in my opinion! Hole in the wall actually kind of looks like a gas station, I think it used to be a gas station. Totally worth the trip!

Surprisingly, this little place has good fried rice. They have specials for each day. Seems like it's geared towards Togo than sit in experience. It's a basic restaurant seating arrangement with couple benches outside for seating.

Every Thursday I pick up lunch at Blue Pacific. I look forward to this meal and it really is the best meal I have every week. As long as I'm on this earth and Blue Pacific is still around, I will continue this weekly tradition. Food is amazing and the staff is always great.

BEST THAI FOOD IN BIRMINGHAM. You’ll probably have to order in person and wait in your car while they prep your order but it’s so worth it. Get spring rolls and the basil fried rice. It’s incredible

Looks like a dive but don't let that fool you. This place is awesome! Highly recommend it. The food is cooked to order so always fresh. If you want the special of the day, don't wait till late to order it as there's a good chance they will be out. Have eaten here on several occasions and can honestly say this is some of the best Thai food I've had.

Great food and it’s cheap but at this point they need to update their facilites. You can’t eat inside, their hours are weird, they randomly close, you can’t place an order over the phone because it’ll never go through, and the last time I went I had to wait 40 minutes for them to give me the wrong order but I couldn’t go back because they were already closed. I love their food but they really need to invest in themselves. They are definitely making enough to make the changes necessary to better their business. Until then I probably won’t be eating here. It’s been long enough.

The spring rolls are awesome. I have ordered the spicy chicken fried rice which was very good. I haven't tried anything else yet but I am sure it will be good too! The staff is very friendly and it is always busy which is a good sign. Definitely will order from them again.

Always delicious food and very affordable as well. I recommend Pad ka tem prik thai for people who like garlic, its my favorite. Parking can be difficult and the wait can be long so go on a less busy day.

Hands down best PadThai in Alabama - add chicken, make it spicy! Also tried the chicken fried rice for the first time - SO GOOD!

Excellent food. Great prices. One of Hoover’s best, most unassuming restaurants. Don’t let the food mart store front fool you. (Typing from the packed parking lot as I wait for my food.)

Delicious food. I went for first time today. Shrimp Pad Thai was very good and portion size was generous.

This is the best Thai food I have ever consumed. Before I found this gem I wasn't a big fan of Thai but boy did they exceed expectations. They are consistent and dishes are price well. They would get 10 stars if I could get it.

Delicious food! The most authentic and fresh cooked Thai food around Birmingham. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious! Service is quick and very friendly. I’d definitely recommend.

One of the best places for Thai food, Family owned and operated. Try calling the place early if you are looking for curries else they are sold out. I love the chicken Panang, it is the best I have ever eaten, IF you want it more spicy add the green chili sauce. There may be a slight charge for the sauce but it is amazing. Basil fried rice is so flavorful. Phone lines are pretty busy due to a large number of pickups. Overall, small little gem for thai food in hoover. Highly recommend.

Best spring rolls I’ve ever tried. Crispy and fried to perfection! I live right down the road and I’m headed back to get a few more super tasty and fresh. Fried chicken was amazing with side sauce as well. Best fried rice I’ve ever eaten. My food is always fresh whenever I go to this place.

Customer service is always so exceptional. Truly kind people! Tried the Ginger tofu from here. It was alright, but not amazing. Same for the pad thai. I’m guessing their popular dishes must be the spicy ones. Very unfortunate they don’t offer a non-spicy version for those of us who can’t have spicy food due to dietary restrictions.

I LOVE this place!! I’ve been going there for years and I’m So Happy that they survived during Covid. They stay busy but it’s totally worth the wait!! The family that runs it is sooo sweet. My favorite dish is the Spicy Basil with Chicken. Parking is really tight and there can be a wait so be sure to call ahead.

The food is incredibly delicious. Best authentic asian cuisine I’ve had in the U.S. I ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, Rad Na with chicken and Basil Fried Rice with Beef. I only wish I found this spot sooner.
