This was a solid dinner. Breakfast came out fast and the service was good. The hash browns were a bit greasy. Omelette was good, but overall there wasn’t anything that felt that special about this place.

Those waffles with strawberries, cream, and butter! I could have them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The toasted bread was delicious, too. Quick, friendly service. Paid street parking.

Came here for breakfast on Saturday mid-afternoon at around 3pm. The tables inside were packed with people, but there were tables open in the back patio, which was shaded and has a nice breeze on a hot summer day. Service was great even though the restaurant was busy. The waffle stayed crispy after sitting on my plate for awhile, Great batter! The hash brown is a must-have here. We ate everything on our plates.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast in the bay. I’ve been coming here for the last 25 years. The food and service is fantastic. My favorite is the waffles and french toast. Plenty of street parking. You’ll enjoy yourself trust me!

Wow, this spot was stellar on all scales. So much so that by the time I left I forgot that I had to wait in line to get in. The wait staff was very attentive and patient with us as it was out first time. The food portions were also amazing. This place is a must if you're in the area and enjoy great breakfast/lunch food. Gonna miss this place when I get back home. But next time I visit I know where I'm going for breakfast

Here are my rating details: Food: Good 👍 I ordered mushrooms omelette with American cheese and hash browns. Hash browns a little crispy. Service: Great, good friendly staff, very satisfied. Atmosphere: Good clean. Unfortunately didn't get chance to try waffles, my kids destroyed it. So that should tell you a lot. I recommend to go and experience it yourself. I will definitely go again.

Leaving the airport one day, I decided to look for a breakfast spot...man am I glad I did. Super cute place, safe feeling area with on street parking. Food and service were excellent 👌

Never disappointed when I come to Oles. Always a well worth the wait line. It’s moves pretty fast and the food comes out faster. Love the French toast and waffles. Don’t forget to ask for fresh fruit. Bacon is mouth watering lol and above all the staff is hardworking and great!

Ole’s Waffle Shop warm home feeling serves good food and good vibes. They serve breakfast all day long so matter what time of the day you can sit down for warm waffles.

Waffle Combo: waffles were some of the best in the bay( came with choice of bacon or sausage and an egg) French Toast Combo: 2pcs of bread(4slices) come with choice of bacon or sausage with an egg. Chicken and Waffles: waffle with choice of three wings or a breast or a thigh Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice: I’ve had better but this was good OJ Mimosa Carafe: we managed to get 7 glasses out of the carafe and the mix was a perfectly concocted ratio of orange juice/champagne.

Best waffle I ever had - so simple yet so tasty, I had the pecan waffle and coffee. Coffee was great too. 5 stars for waffle Visit #2 - tried the garden burger and freshly squeezed orange juice this time. Orange juice was very tasty and fresh. The garden burger was okayish, didn't like the patty much, wasn't very flavorful. 3 stars for burger

The waffles are perfect the consistency of almost a crepe and the omelets largest variety of combinations with the best hash browns and more, also the service is amazing staff is nice always attentive and making sure your coffee or beverage is filled great family atmosphere. feel free to browse the memorabilia around the restaurant many Bayarea legendary sport figures enjoy this place as well.

Love the diner vibe. Order the right portion of waffle, egg and sausage. There will be a line so be willing to wait.

Great breakfast spot. A little pricey but for the bay its bomb. orange juice is so good and fresh. Staff was very sweet and helpful despite being hella busy.

This place is great!!! Old school dinner feel , food was good service was fast. I was in and out in less than twenty mins . Simple delicious breakfast!!! Would give it 10 stars if I could

Ole’s never lets me down! Even when it’s busy, I always find a good spot, the gentleman who’s always checking the door and sitting people in, always makes sure to top coffee cups and waters, and the servers are patient when anyone changes their mind. The cooks are the stars of the show, followed by the dishwashers, nonstop hard workers! I keep forgetting to take pics before I eat, but at least this one will show you how much I like it!

This has been my #1 Breakfast spot since 85 when I used to live in Alameda. All I can say is I’m a Pancake & Waffle guy and to me especially the Pancakes by far are the best tasting ever. Something about the flavor of them so rich and tasty and melt in my mouth. If you love pancakes and waffles you have to try this spot at least once. Weekends especially in the morning there is a line outside and the place isn’t very big but they are good at getting folks in and out fast, probably better to go during the week time or just sit at counter to save time. I’ve been there recently and it’s great to see some of the same workers from many years ago still there. Ole’s is a great mom & pops breakfast spot !!

Ole’s was my go to breakfast place before I moved to Ohio 22 years ago. So, on this visit I had to stop in for breakfast. Some things never change and Ole’s is still fantastic. Amazing that many of the same staff are here including the boss man that hustles clearing tables and seating folks waiting for a table.

Fantastic... our First time there and it was Amazing... Chicken and Waffles Kabobs.. Coconut Shrimp and the French Fries were OUTSTANDING.... We were at the Wine and Waffles next Door .... it's a MUST Stop in Place.. Live Music too .... CHEERS guys ...!!!!!

I arrived and the place was packed so I was expecting to wait. I didn’t have to wait at all. When I sat down I was greeted and they immediately gave me water and asked if i wanted any other drinks. Than we ordered and our food came out so fast. It was hot and amazing. The staff creates an amazing atmosphere and will be coming here again!

If you are looking for a good diner, this place does the trick. We ordered chicken and waffles and French toast special. I don't usually love fried chicken, but this one was sooo worth the deep fried calories! The waffle was also on point: soft and crispy and oh so yummy. I didn't care for the French toast, though the egg and bacon it came with were perfectly fine. Will absolutely come back and order the chicken again!

Simply put, my favorite diner in the US. The staff are quick, efficient and super friendly! They always remember me when I return to Alameda! The kitchen cooks are miracle workers...it's a joy to watch them in action!

Chicken and waffle was perfection for brunch. Chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked and crunchy. Fresh squeeze juice its a plus. Oh the restaurant has expended and has a second section called waffle and wine(something like that) customer service was great and attentive. Definitely going back!
