a review from @amom2kidsandapark This park has so much packed in! It’s next to a school so when school isn’t in session the gate is sometimes opened and there’s access to the blacktop including blacktop games and basketball hoops. There are four baseball/softball diamonds, tennis courts, a ping pong table, shuffle board, nice bathrooms (with changing table), picnic tables, and mini stage plus the awesome play area. The play area is broken into two sections- a large structure play area and a small structure play area. The large area has the EXPANSIVE structure a long wobbling balance beam, a swing set with standard only swings (long chains for high flying). The structure has four different sections connected by monkey bars, bridges or tunnels. There are three slides (a short, a spiral and a tube), steps, ladders, activities, monkey rings, monkey bars, tunnels, bridges, sliding pole, gymnastics bar, step climbing wall, and look out bubbles. There’s so much… at times it felt like too much if that’s even a thing 🙃 The smaller area is somewhat gated (not all the way. Only a few openings) and it is very spread out. There a small structure with three slides (short, double, and tube), steps, ladders, tube tunnel, look out bubbles and activities. In this play area there’s also a balance beam, an arch, a bucket swing set, a sitting hut perfect for a quiet break and …. My favorite part… a dragon feature that appears to be swimming in the ground and then its head pokes out of the sand box 🐉 my sisu loving kid was thrilled (also doubles as a climbing feature). Near the sand box is a wonderful covered sitting area with picnic benches. Something Ive noticed at this and other Alameda parks, is a sign near the playgrounds saying “food free area” explaining that some playground friends have food allergies and it’s important everyone is safe. Such an awesome idea. Way to go Alameda Parks @playarpd 👏🏼👏🏼 Street parking on Otis Dr, High St, Calhoun St or Court St.

We love coming here & just recently hosted a birthday party here for the first time. The attractions are numerous, well spaced apart & make sense. In the little kids area there is an amazing sandpit next to a playground, swings & more, and by the big kid playground there are big kid swings & space to run. Restrooms are good & there is a giant field for sports or dogs to run. There's also usually not a problem with parking which is very nice & most importantly the playgrounds aren't near a busy street.

This was of firs time at the park. We came to bringing our daughter so she can play for an hour before we went to get lunch. The park is big with lots of fun games for the kids. One thing we liked is that it had super clean bathrooms. The play ground can use some updates im the rides are older and worn down but overall its a great local park.

Went to a birthday party here. It was a great spot for a party. They had room for a bouncy house. The playground was flooded after a big rain, but it looked like a lot of fun for kids on a different day.

I love that park so much! I went to that park so many times as a kid! And, I loved it EVERY SINGLE TIME, more and more, too!

A recreational family Park in the neighbourhood of Alameda. Huge place and well maintained. There are picnic tables around. Dogs are roaming around and I don’t really think it’s still safe for children when dogs are around the Park, although they say that you can call violators. This place gets full on weekends. The park is just within Frank Otis Elementary School.

It's an ok park. Take a light jacket if can get windy. Wish it had a bigger slide for the big kids but it's a great option for toddlers and little kids

What I like about this park is is that it has 2 playgrounds. For older and for younger children. Bathroom situation got an upgrade in recent years. There is a little stage for children, a baseball diamond, green area for soccer practice or dogs, a tennis court and some picnic tables.

👍👍 This park is great! A wonderful park for children ages from 3 to 10yrs. The biggest attraction is the huge slide. ALL the kids play on this thru out the day. Theres a large sandbox, climbing structure, toddler swings, a zip line , a large saucer-basket like swing. It also offers a very long bike...

👍👍 I love this dog park! It's big enough for the dogs to run around and play fetch. It's even big enough for the humans that like to congregate and chat, Even those that tend to congregate too close to the entrance thus making incoming dogs very anxious... You know who you are!
