Might be the best burger in Alameda—juicy, flavorful, and nicely presented. The fries were crisp and tasty, too. My only complaint is that the fountain soda, which was not Coke or Pepsi but some independent brand I'd never heard of, didn't have much flavor—but, never having tasted it before, I don't know if that was the fault of the soda itself or if it needed more syrup.

Nice hole in the wall shop, with good tasting burgers and sandwiches. Loved the fries, they're loaded with dressings, veggies, etc. But pricey though. Outdoor seating, but beware of not-so-nice people walking around.

Review for their food truck Good Ol Boy Nashville Hot was incredible, one of the best friend chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. The fries were a little disappointing but the sandwich made up for it.

In from Ohio visiting family and stopped in for lunch. This might well have been the best cheeseburger I’ve ever eaten. It was that good. The fresh cut fries were incredible as well.

Vegetarian friendly and delicious! I love the Good Ol' Boy, and a shareable side of fries is more than enough. You can eat outside on the parklet and grab a cider from Lucky 13 next door.

First time here and not impressed. Wanted to try it from the reviews and it being on triple D's. I'll stick with the facts. Pros: outdoor seating Wide range of food options Little to no wait Hush puppies were the best item I had here.. Cons: No parking, only street parking and it will be difficult to find. The food will/might disappoint you. The water had hairs in it which made me think of a safety code when preparing food and prep. Lastly, cheeseburgers are better than chicken sandwiches.

Update: I tried this place again and was disappointed that I was told I couldn't add tomatoes even if I paid for them. The answer was just no They have them there so what is the deal? I didn't like that and I hope the owner reads these reviews. Warning; The pizza slice is different and just a sprinkle of cheese. I didn't care for it. If you're looking for very lite cheese then you may like it. Just not what I am use to. Same thing at Marley g across the street. I didn't realize they were same company. I had the specials today..shrimp Louie salad and hush puppies. It was delicious! The shrimps were big and plenty in the order. Shrimp were prepared excellent and all ingredients were fresh! Better than and cheaper than a restaurant version. The hush puppies were yummy! They had just a few corn kennels inside but not a lot which added a nice texture To the mix. The honey drizzled on top was really good And nice touch! The cayenne butter was not hot but the perfect balance. The menu is a good mix lots of items you would want to try. This is a gem. Great for takeout! The staff is very friendly and plenty seating outside or you can get food delivered at the bar next door. Delivery can be done through an app called slice.

Love the blueberry and bleu cheese burgers here. It's definitely worth it. There's no seating but the bar next store allows you to eat inside with a purchase of a drink/beer.

DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back. Good portions, the garlic fries were on point - if you love buffalo flavor you will love their fries too but it was a little too hot for me. The blueberry burger was amazingly good, as well as the regular burger.

I got the whimpy burger with extra patty, fried egg and bacon lettuce wrapped. Everything was fresh and well cooked. Eric was on top of it and really kind!

Perfect scampi fries and the blueberry burger is now one of my favorites. They know how to season!

Had a great meal today here on our way to Alameda Port headed back to SF. Pulled sandwiches, cheeseburgers, and plate of fries. Trailer parked out in front of Almanac Beer Co. Great place to stop and wonderful selection of drinks options. Well worth the time! Both places top-notch!

When I first stumbled up Scolari's they were known for serving the best strombolis. These days those strombolis are a special item that I always have to get when available, or get them at Marley G's across the street. While the menu changed, they still serve really good good. The burgers are delicious and can be a bit tall. The chicken sandwich is something to also order. But, the fries is something that I always get. Just don't forget to ask for aoli versus ketchup. They alsoserve a particular local brand of delicious soda that I've only had in a handful of places. The Alameda Soda company is made with real sugar and is gluten free, made in small batches.

I got a burger with garlic French fries. I order a medium rare classic burger with bacon and blue cheese with all the add ons. The burger came out perfectly cooked and delicious the fries was a little bit oiled and the garlic could be cooked longer. But it’s only my preference because the fried might be served in this way. The sauces that came with it was delicious too.

Tried the fried chicken sandwich with spicy Asian slaw and the garlic scampi fries. Sandwich was very good. Chicken was juicy and crunchy. Fries had more garlic than scampi-ness, but were delicious nonetheless. Only complaint was no public restroom as I had driven an hour to get there haha!

We went to check out their Blueberry Blue Cheese burger but their classic burger was way tastier to me. Patties were thicker and juicier for classic, and the sauce was super bomb. Blueberry burger has a lot of pepper and is much drier. Just wasn't a fan of the combination. Their fries are good though. Not crispy but big portions and good flavors. They don't have seats so you have to go to a bar next door. It was difficult to get drinks because the bar was really busy with one bar tender. It was a bit uncomfortable to have to go to another place to eat, no parking, difficult to get drinks, etc. but food was pretty good.

This place is fantastic. I had the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger and it melted in my mouth. The scampi fries were perfect and the fact that I was able to eat at the bar next door while they bring me my food is A+++. I'll be back

This place was a hidden gem for me. No clue it existed. Randomly read about it on a message board and came immediately. Do yourself a favor and get the garlic scampi fries 🍟. Hands down the best fries I’ve ever had. I got the classic burger and added bacon 🥓 and a fried egg 🥚😮‍💨🤌🏾. It was phenomenal and a good size (I couldn’t finish it). The Challah bun was soft and was the perfect compliment to the burger. Highly recommended 100/10.

The Classic Burger is perfect and satisfying. The ingredients are fresh. The buns are toasted on the grill. and prepared with house sauce. Everything is in proportion. Even the pickles have an elevated taste, No need to add bacon or avocado;simply RESPECT THIS BURGER!

The food was good but I expected more since they have been on TV and such. But the service and quickness were great!

Pricey okay burgers, the bottom buns were really soggy by the time I got home, on the other hand the queso and pretzel was addictive, service was good as although they made a mistake by not leaving an item off the burger. I'll still come back for the delicious pretzel and cheese dip.

This is the place to go when you have company over. He was 14 years old, visiting for the week. One day we had burgers, fries and vanilla shakes from Nations Burgers. This is a place he had eaten before. He loves hamburgers so I was glad to have him try the Scolari's Blueberry/Blue cheese with bacon burger. I showed him a picture of the double BB with B. He wanted the single only with fries. He looked at the Blueberry sauce very strangely, before putting it on top of the burger. When he took the first bite. The smile on his face was from ear to ear. I was shocked he finished so fast. He said, "it was the best burger I ever had in my life!" "I wish I had gotten the double!" Need I say more...

Literal hole-in-the-wall restaurant, it serves great food. Flavors you won't find anywhere else. The blueberry, blue cheese hamburger was flavorful, unique and we would love to have it again. The east Asian chicken sandwich was also delicious, and would totally have again. Delicious and unique eats. Don't forget to have their garlic scampi fries. So good to eat and quite addictive.

Officially found my new burger spot. Delicious burgers, fresh fries and amazing service. Love that you can take it to the bar next door or eat out front if you want.
