I had the breakfast burrito 🌯 and asked them to stuff the hashbrowns inside also. It was very tasty. My husband had the sausage gravy and biscuits and said it was very good also.

AWESOME!!! Definitely 5 stars of an old school diner is your jam! Omelets, waffles, hash browns, big meat breakfasts. Fast friendly service. All good!

If I didn’t know any better. I almost thought I was in Pulp Fiction diner. You get that authentic old school diner vibe. Also, did I forget to mentioned. Food is great and hardy. I felt like I was ready to take on whatever the day has to offer. Overall, nice atmosphere, great food, fast service, vast variety of menu options. What else do you need. I’m definitely going to be coming back on weekends to get my belly filled on some delicious food.

Great breakfast burritos! They even made mine spicy for me. Looked around at other peoples orders and everything looked good. Great service and staff. Abby was super polite and knowledgeable about the area. And even the customers were sociable. I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing food and stunning staff! Best foodservice I’ve experienced in New Mexico in the 10 years I’ve been out here. The food is appropriately portioned, fair prices, consistent, served quickly, and of course delicious! They should start a food service academy or something. The staff all work together in a tiny dinner turning tables quickly yet they know all the regulars and acknowledge every customer coming and going. There’s a bit of a wait most days, but always well worth the 15-20 minutes to experience and enjoy this restaurant!

Very good breakfast place. The pancakes and waffles were excellent. The green sauce was better than the white gravy. The ham was very good. The chicken fried steak seemed frozen but decent. The orange juice was good.

It was crowded, so the food must be good. I liked the variety of options. My server was friendly and efficient. I plan to go back soon, one of the best breakfast options in Alamogordo.

We visited the Waffle & Pancake Shoppe the second day we spent in Alamogordo. We saw the day before that the parking lot filled up for breakfast so we got there a little early. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes before we were sat. Our waitress was very nice and very personable, felt like I was talking to a friend! I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and my girlfriend ordered the Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. The food was phenomenal! Overall review has five stars, but we gave food four stars only because of the strawberries; they ended up being frozen and they took away from how good the waffle was. Overall would highly recommend for breakfast!!

Finally got the chance to have breakfast here and I’m so glad I did! First off, I love waffles and the classic American breakfast and these guys do it right! The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns nice and brown but not overcooked or burnt. The coffee was pipping hot and delicious! Our waitress made sure we always had a full cup! Speaking of our waitress, she was friendly and attentive and our food was on our table super quick. This will the place I have breakfast at anytime I find myself in Alamogordo. My family and myself left full and happy!

The absolute best breakfast in town! The service is wonderful and the fastest I think I’ve ever seen. The servers are all so charming and funny, and the cooks are so fast! A really fun atmosphere that feels cozy. You have to try the breakfast burrito. I crave it every week! Support local business! ❤️

Loved this place. Great breakfast burrito, and despite the place being packed I had coffee within 30 seconds and my order in less than 5 minutes. Decent prices too.

I wasn't Alamogordo after 35-year absence. So, I'm staying at the Fairfield inn, and I asked the person at the counter Where's the best place to have breakfast. And they pointed me to the waffles and pancake shop. I was not disappointed at all. Food was good portions were wonderful and the service made everything an excellent meal. Hope it doesn't take me 35 years to go back and eat there again.

Good Eats and Good Coffee! Prices are reasonable and it’s fairly quick service although it tends to be busy. Great for a pit stop if you’re on the road.

Wow! Places like these are a rare find! We opted to sit at the counter, which is a great because we got to see the staff in action. They were all super nice and we felt at home here. We will definitely be back again. I had the Get Down Hash Browns and I was put in a food coma after this…..oh so good! Coffee was fresh and tasted amazing. Good job waffle & pancake shoppe! The owners are down to earth and genuine. The food is great! They have traditional breakfast & lunch items with a New Mexico flair added. My daughter says their oatmeal is too runny but that’s subjective. I never leave there disappointed.

Basically a waffle house kind of feel. Great food at a great price. Would give 5 starts if the staff would be more welcoming and friendly. They always seem so rushed and we've even seen them turn people down because it was close to closing time.

Fast, efficient and really good food. This was the best choice close to the hotel and it was excellent. We were able to walk and even though they were packed we only waited for about 10 minutes to be seated. We were waited on very quickly and our food came out super fast. They really run a tight ship!
