Staff was calm and clean even during a crazy rush! Didnt wait long, and the food was awesome! The burger I got was the NM Style burger with green chile and seasoned fries. Both tasted delicious!

Great prices, simple menu, fast service, great taste, and clean restrooms. Definitely will recommend this spot. I highly recommend the New Mexico burger with a shake. You can't go wrong and just a couple of bucks!!!

While driving back home from Cloudcroft, I made a quick stop in the area to find some chili. Google reviews pointed me towards Blake's Lotaburger. So glad I was able to discover this establishment. Great chili and fast service! Thank you!

The food was soooo good! Everything from the drinks to the fires ro the burgers was good. The staff was very friendly and got our order out quick and everything was just right. Cute little place with a lot of history!

Glad that we stopped here. Amazing burgers, fries and orange juice. Apparently this place has been open for ages. The seating could be in a small area. But the taste overshadows it. Even though it says spicy, the green chilli sauce isn't spicy for me. Rest all is top class.

Ordered thru DoorDash both my condiments that I paid an extra .69¢ a piece for went in the bag. The burger was tasteless before I added the green chili sauce. The chili was the worst I’ve ever had Hormel out the can rate better. Buffalo chicken was decent only reason I gave 2 stars.

I thought the remodel would help improve.....but hell no. Bring back the old place. The restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week The employees were rude to say the least. Waited 10 minutes to order with no one else in front of me. I ordered a Lota Combo with seasoned fries and onion rings on the side as well. After placing my order I watched the people putting food together take lettuce from the counter where it fell off other burgers and threw it back in the container to put on new food. Quickly asked the girl at the register to not put lettuce on my burger only to get a rude "whatever". Took almost 25 minutes to get my order and when they called my name they literally threw my order on the counter. When I opened the bag, fries and onion rings were not only cold and burnt but the were dumped in the bag. The burger was cold and raw in the middle....and more lettuce than anything. I have never had this horrible service at Blake's....even when they were busy as hell with only 2 workers!!! Such a disappointment from what USED to be my favorite place. Suggestion....go anywhere else!!

The first time we came here for breakfast burritos a couple of months ago, everything was delicious. Just picked up burritos this morning for breakfast (1-20-22), and my sausage burrito was filled with entire egg shells. Extremely disappointed.

So we recently ate at the one in Roswell and it was great. So we tried the Alamogordo one. It was TERRIBLE. We won't be back. It was so dirty. The lobby was nasty. Floors were sticky. None of the tables had been cleaned probably that day. The employees all looked dirty with crumbs and stains all over their shirts and aprons. Then the food was gross. The onion rings we ordered had obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for who knows how long. The burgers weren't fresh and the buns were soggy and cold. They put mayonnaise on my son's grilled cheese? Weird. He wouldn't eat it. Obviously. So gross. Avoid this place at all costs.

We placed an order through the app, waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes and then they still got the order wrong and we paid for several items we didn't receive. My kid's soda was just soda water, no syrup. The burger was good but the rest of the food was nothing to really say much about. Portions were small and the price was high. We won't be making this mistake again.

Dropped in to see the new building. Looks grate! I was a little surprised to see a ton of people working behind the counter! Seems everyone else is trying to hire good help. I hardly could believe my eyes when I spotted a guy wearing a hair net. Had a flash back to Saturday Night Live! Burger was good 👍

Spent a long day driving and was craving a fast fold burger - this place satisfies! Big juicy burgers with fresh toppings. Seasoned fries were crispy and perfect. They also have milkshakes that hit the spot. We had to wait a few minutes for our food but it wasn’t too long.

First time trying this chain and while it didn't blow my mind out, they were decent enough. You can see they are a short-staffed as things were quite slow. I got the Lota burger with the cheese and green chili and onion rings. It was a good sized burger but honestly, until I really started taking bites for the green chili, I couldn't taste it, the flavor hidden under the weight of the patty, veggies and the cheese. The onion rings were decent. This particular location wasn't very well-lit and looked a little sketchy so we got take out as we didn't want to sit there.

Has the potential to be the best burger and breakfast burrito place in town. Poorly managed and not very consistent in what you order. Sometimes good, sometimes terrible.. i always go back though because when it's good, it's the best.

Spectacular Green chile burger 🍔!!!! I am in LOVE with this joint. I've been in town a little over 3 weeks and have been 4 times. Fries 🍟, burgers 🍔, burritos 🌯 -- you name it and I love it. These guys know what they are doing. It 100% makes sense why they have been in business for 70+ years. My goodness I could eat this for every meal. The downside of this place is the small dining room. Also, both bay doors were open the first time we went and it was way too hot while we were sitting there enjoying our meal. The food was so good it was worth the inconvenience but I wish they would get a larger dining room with working AC. I was sweating pretty bad by the time I left . Another thing I would like to see them change is the placement of the menu. They don't have the menu right in front of the register so it's definitely easy to forget the name/item you are ordering especially when you have multiple orders. I would hope to see one placed in front of the register! Otherwise I love this place!

I love the taste of the burgers. If you are a crunchy ice person, they have the best, and their new soda machine is cool. I recommend strawberry Mt dew. I do think they should've kept the combo options cause $25 for two burgers, one fry, (LG but if you've been there that's not very big anyway) and one drink...it's a bit much. Plus, it sucks having to share when you go out.. just wish it was more like the fast food price and less like, we remodeled but now we are forcing everyone else to pay for it...or at least make it to where two people can eat for less that what we would pay for twice as much at McDonald's ya know?

Blake's was good. Not the best burger we've ever had, but it was good. To be honest, the buffalo chicken sandwich was better than the burger. The seasoned fries were great, but seemed to be sitting for a while. We would come back if we were in town again.

Lotaburger did not disappoint. Everything was delicious from the green Chile burger to the buffalo chicken sandwich and the fries which were basically rallys fries which is awesome. Finished it off with a pint colada shake which had real pineapple chunks in it. This is a must eat if coming in to town.

We stopped in while visiting my son and his family in the area. It's fixed fresh as you order. The manager actually came to our table to make sure everything was good and that was very refreshing to see that it was important to him that we were pleased with the food. Thank you for a wonderful experience for my family.

Great food, excellent service…. So gladly family and I found this place. You can get breakfast burritos all day as well as other great food. Awesome reasonable prices, too! We will definitely come back when we visit New Mexico again.

I called in my order yesterday using their digital assistant and I must say this is the best digital assistant I have ever used. It was easy placing my order and making edits. It even recognized my number and knew my name. My order was ready in a timely manner and correct. I was a bit skeptical since this location is going through a much needed remodel.

Rena at the register she was polite courteous she did her job to a tee waisted no time taking my order after she finished with the customer in front of me the bathrooms were clean and spotless the lobbying is clean and spotless the trash is taken out ain't no stains on nothing I like this new Lotaburger so Shiloh person says give Rena r e n a a raise because she works really hard and I think she deserves it I got like 3 million hits so I think you should listen to Shiloh Perkins only thing I can't complain about the front door stuck is so heavy it kind of sucks if you're not strong enough to pull it

Blake's usually has great burgers, fries and pop....just as good as the more well-known fast food places. When I last went to the Blake's in Alamogordo, New Mexico several years ago....their "dine-in" was outdoors by sitting on concrete or metal tables with metal umbrellas next to the main road whizzing by fast under 20 feet from us in front of their eatery. But their food is great. I have not been there in several years and maybe they renovated that Blake's down there since. But they got good burgers.

My wife and I ordered two Fish Boats and an order of onion rings which cost $24.92. For some reason it seemed they were having trouble putting the entire order together. Because of this,order was cold by the time we 2 1/2 miles away. When we took our order out to eat it, I was quite surprised to see how small the Fish Boats were, not fish portions but the small amount of fries that came with them. The order of onion rings cost $3.29 and there were FIVE of them. See photos attached. Don’t get me wrong, the food was very good, as usual, which is why I gave you 4 stars, but I don’t feel I got much value for the $25.00 we spent. We normally get two NM Lotaburgers with a large order of fries which cost a similar amount of money but we’re filled up after we’re done. We won’t be getting the Fish Boats again to be sure.

I've had good and not so the best experiences here but 3 things are always the same. There's two guys that work there who are fantastic, Mike & Chris. The food is always delicious and #3 the Main store\restaurant manager is the BEST I'VE SEEN IN TOWN. True customer service ALWAYS!!!

Highly recommend this spot in Alamogordo. The burgers here have always tasted very good especially with green chili. Still tastes just like I remember when I used to go as a teenager. Breakfast burritos here are also very good and I always recommend this place to a friend who is not from around here. Very thankful for this business and what they do!
