Quality Inn, except without the Quality. Stayed here because there was no other option in the area for my length of stay. The “Breakfast” is old dry muffins, expired yogurt (literally expired days before I even checked In), burnt coffee and sugary “juice”. The suite has cupboards that are dilapidated, water that smells of sulfur (rotten egg smell), without any utensils or dishes. What’s the point of empty cupboards? The shower doesn’t have hot water, you’ll get lukewarm water at best if you’re lucky. The tub will fill with water while you are showering making you feel completely disgusted. The bedding didn’t appear to be washed, I’d suggest buying some at Wal-Mart if you’re staying for a while. Light switches and socket covers are broken revealing exposed electrical, and paint is chipped and damaged all over the place. A very visible repair was done on the ceiling probably from a leak. And for some reason I don’t feel as if the door actually locks, I haven’t validated this but every time I close the door it just doesn’t seem like it actually locks.

Pros: parking right in front of room, very helpful with a reactive dog. Nice fridge with freezer. Close to lots of restaurants. Cons: carpeting was dirty, no pool, very small room, dark. Breakfast was pretty awful but coffee was ok.

Do not stay at the Quality inn of Alamogordo! We stayed at the Quality inn on Tuesday, November 21st 2023 in room 230. This was our second stay at this location. The first stay was very nice. We enjoyed it. But our second stay was extremely disappointing after the fact, because of deceptive tactics by management to charge guests an inflated cleaning fee for nothing. As a veteran worker (Night Desk Manager) of 7 years in the hospitality industry, I would never leave a room dirty and our room as usual was spotless when we checked out. Though we had noticed stains on the comforter when we checked in but we had subsequently let it go. A few hours after we had checked out and left the quality inn on Wednesday morning. I was shocked to see an attempted charge of 50$ on my credit card, which was thankfully declined. I called the quality inn and spoke to a very rude man who said I had an undisclosed animal in my room and they had to deep clean the room. This statement wasn't true at all. First as a pet friendly hotel I would have simply declared and paid for an animal if I had one with me. There was a camera right outside my room facing the stairs and I told him to check the camera. He made several very rude declarations and refused to listen to what I was saying. I told him I would never stay here again and he said he was adding me to a do not rent list which was all fine and good. I said I would not leave my card unlocked to be wrongfully charged by them when their accusations were completely untrue. So tonight I was shocked to see another 50$ charge from them and this time it went through. According to my credit cards customer service they had put it through as a recurring charge/subscription service to get past my card lock. Buyer beware, the owners/managers here will charge you deceptively for things that are clearly not true to make an extra buck from their customers. This is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs...

Staff were professional and friendly, decent coffee/breakfast for a large hotel chain. Good location. Only real complaint is the high pet fees ($25 per pet so cost me $50) but this is the case at all Quality Inn locations.

Basic hotel with half way clean rooms and comfortable bed. Took the shower a long time to get hot and it was dirty on the floor but the guy in the front was kind and didn't charge me for my two dogs (50+ pounds ) at least the sheets and towels were clean.

Location is one turn out the parking lot + 10 minute drive to White Sands NP. Breakfast, pool, well lit lot, friendly staff - all pluses. My room was clean. Bed, sheets & pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Not noisy, slept great. Had a great stay. I'll be back to see the dunes in the winter.

We stayed here in July. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean. And the bathroom was ok. The only real issue that I had was the accessable room. I paid extra for it and sadly this facility doesn't know what an accessable room is. The beds were very low to the ground. Which is great for elderly people. It doesn't work out well for quadriplegics. The layout of the room was awkward and it was difficult getting the wheelchair in. The bathroom was a joke. It was far to narrow to get into. The sink blocks the door way and the toilet blocks the entry of the shower. It does have a roll in shower but we couldn't even get into the bathroom. Like I said I'm more upset that I paid extra for the rooms features that I couldn't use

Staff was helpful with places to eat. Unfortunately we had a neighbor with a crying baby that looked homeless and did their laundry and hung out the door pulling the roller chair outside and sat in our doorway. Asked us Person questions making us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. There were better looking hotels in the area and I wish we would have picked a better area…maybe north of town with the newer hotels?

Room 242, very nice room. Room like a Fairfield, Hampton Inn. Lobby was impressive for a Quality inn. Parking lit is less and needs work out front. Walking distance to Food and Shops. Service desk with a smile and welcoming. Very surprised.

Was not impressed when we drove up. Painted the hotel to dark. Was impressed when going into the lobby and room. Everything is remolded. Shower and bed were great. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was super, eggs with ham in it, regular eggs, bacon, and more. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Upon arrival I ran into a few complications and I would like to take thank you the front desk lady that was working till 11p. I'm sorry I forgot your name. However because you took your time to call my work company and get the from situation settled helped me from sleeping in my vehicle. And I also would like to thank Tory for taking her time to help out when the laundry machine broke down while I did my laundry. Thank you both for your help. I stayed in rm 115. Keep up that great hospitality!! Michelle

I just stayed here for one night last night and would give this 10 stars if I could. The staff were super friendly and kind. The one worker advised me the hotel has sleds on hand that you can borrow for the day free of charge to bring to White Sands. The breakfast was very delicious and had a variety of good options. The room was a perfect as you can ask for at this price point. I wish I could mirror everything about this experience every time I traveled.

The lady who checked us in on July 14 was super nice! Our room was clean and the beds were super comfortable and soft. Breakfast at 8 o clock was very picked through, not much left. Coffee was good though. Used the laundry area, it was not very clean but I was able to do my laundry without any problems. Would definitely recommend!

This place is fantastic!! Pet friendly. The guy at the counter was super friendly. The place was recently remodeled. Almost everything the floors, beds, sinks, chairs, lighting. The ceiling needs a little tlc in Room 202. They have a dog area in back with bags and garbage can! Even the outside has new paint and lighting. Very pleased!

Intended to stay only one night, but due to car troubles, ended up staying for 3. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Only a 20-minute drive to White Sands and walking distance to restaurants. The complimentary breakfast spread was delicious. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent. I got a call before I checked in to confirm my reservation. The lady on the phone was super helpful. When I got to the room, it was su0er clean and even had a just cleaned smell to it. My only complaint is the fan in the rooms A/C unit was running the whole night and was bumping something in the unit. This made it very hard to sleep. I let the front desk know and the lady checking me out was very apologetic about the inconvenience.

The location is near some nice places to get a coffee or some delicious wings! The rooms were clean and the fitness room was very nice as well. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very cordial. Did not make it to the pool but it looked very nice as well.

Nice room for price. Comfortable queen bed and quiet unit, including parking lot and street noise. Train track runs behind motel but trains not heard. No crossings nearby. I really have no negative comments except the designer/architect that places th shower grab bar at the faucet end of the tub which places your exit foot in the toilet, not on open floor. See this time and again.

Everyone we made contact was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, cool aired room, lots of fresh towels, microwave & mini fridge, and breakfast was decent. It was a good stay for the night. We didn't get a chance to visit the pool.

Service was good. Rooms were super humid and I couldn't tell if it was just the weather or if it was the type of AC, literally felt sticky in the room the whole stay. Bathroom door was pretty hard to close so I'd check on kids if you have any. Showers looked clean I think the metal of the drain and stuff was oxidizing and turning green so they probably don't scrub that off often or replace them. Kitchen looked small but we skipped the breakfast so I can't speak on that. If you bring a dog(s) watch for cats at night at the doggy area there were at least 3 that I saw but they left when we walked up so not much issue unless your dog likes to try and "play" with them.

Pretty good place, with interior cleaned up and comfortable. For some reason the initial temperature when we got here was probably 60 or below, but the AC unit could be changed easily. The pet area was useful for sure, and there were some stray cats but they were super cute. Fitness area was either closed under posted open hours or I can't figure out how to open a door. Overall good experience.

Decent motel for decent price. They served breakfast which is ok and not that great. Rooms are clean and well maintained. No complaints during my visit.
