Very
nice
hotel,
stayed
three
nights
and
everything
was
in
order.
Great
employees,
every
one
we
interacted
with
was
friendly
and
professional.
Only
oddity,
was
that
we
arrived
in
Alamogordo
a
few
hours
earlier
than
we
planned,
and
wanted
to
check
in,
shower,
and
rest
a
bit.
We
called
and
asked
about
this
and
were
told
that
if
we
wanted
to
check
in
before
1500
that
we
would
have
to
pay
for
half
a
day.
We
anticipated
getting
there
around
1300
and
have
never
had
this
type
of
experience
before
at
any
Hilton/Hampton
property
so
this
certainly
seemed
off-putting.
We
pretty
much
drove
around,
ate
lunch
and
then
parked
in
the
parking
lot
of
the
hotel
until
about
1515
when
we
checked
in.
Again
all
the
staff
was
great
so
I
donβt
fault
them
for
following
whatever
policies
they
are
directed
to.
We
plan
to
visit
Alamogordo
more
often,
and
had
hoped
to
make
this
our
hotel
of
choice;
perhaps
this
was
just
a
one-off
scenario,
but
we
almost
always
try
to
arrive
1-2
hours
early
so
we
have
time
to
freshen
up
and
relax
a
bit
so
again
this
experience
was
a
bit
unexpected.
I
realize
and
understand
staffing
shortages
are
a
big
thing
presently,
but
expecting
to
charge
a
patron
a
half
day
when
arriving
1-2
hours
early
seems
shady
-
Iβd
expect
this
if
I
wanted
to
check
in,
at
say
0700
in
the
morning
and
would
be
happy
complying
under
that
circumstance.
All
in
all,
again
nicer
hotel
than
I
expected,
good
breakfast.
-1
star
for
the
half
day
charge
situation,
but
again
no
ill
will
towards
staff
for
doing
as
theyβre
told.
