I am often leary of Motel 6s, they are low budget and can be seedy. But this one was great, especially for the price! Rooms were clean, staff was amazing, no drug addicts hanging around. A low budget no frills but safe and family friendly motel! I am already booking my next stay when I return next week!

It's a 2 star hotel for a reason. It's amenities are very basic. That being said, I've stayed there 3 times now and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are clean everytime I've stayed there. The appliances are actually of good quality. I mean, the microwave even also doubles as an air fryer. It's definitely a great value for the price. Update 7/21/22 I've stayed here an additional 2 times and still haven't had a bad experience. The tall, young guy (don't know his name) that is usually there is always very courteous and helpful.

My experience has always been awesome. The young man that works the front desk is always very generous and kind. Fast check ins. And very understanding if we are running a litte late to checkout. The employees here are very friendly and helpful.

We thought the price was good but found out why. There was no top latch on the door so we asked to move a different room. We were assured they would have it fixed. It was important because we had a small child with us that could open the door. We left for the day and came back that evening and the door was never fixed. Also beds were made nice and neat but sheets were never changed. We had to take off the thin blanket and thin bedspread and shake the sheets out and remake the beds. No phone in the room to call office and complain and too cold to go out to the office. The clientele for this motel had no problem in being loud and noisy. Seems they were used to it.

We had a great stay! Looks they updated their rooms a little, which was nice to see. Has a fridge, microwave and TV in the room. Could use a couple more outlets, no major problem though. Shower was excellent, it gets pretty hot😁 also it's in a great location in town. Definitely recommend this place for your stay if you are in the area and need to find a easy simple Motel.

Pros: Cheapest in town, beds were comfortable. Cons: internet was going from horrible to having nothing, fridge was dirty, had a dirty towel hanging up, change was left from someone else in the bathroom, small pillows and not many, can hear everything in other people's rooms, I had a noise machine app going and still could hear people, no breakfast at all.

This property does a fine job overall. Check in went smoothly and staff was helpful. The area is safe, friendly, uneventful, and quite peaceful. Rooms are clean with basic amenities. However, the pool was unavailable in 100 degree weather. Apparently ownership is too thrifty to make necessary repairs. Repairs are a tax write off my friend. Geeter done brother! 🤔✌️

The bed caved inwards, the toilet tried to rock you off it, they didn’t have any towels or pillow cases, we had to go to the front desk to ask for them, the pool was closed, the shower was dirty, the water was cold. I’m only giving 2 stars, because the front desk lady with the flower hand tattoo was amazing kind and very nice. The second gold star is for her, not this motel.

Stayed 4 nights here. Great location & price was right! Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was wonderful! Will stay here again!

I want a refund because my room had roaches and there was no soap to wash my hands I had to buy some also it was overpriced for how small the room was

Many the manager,very friendly, knowledgeable, customer service second to none. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, they have mini Refrigerator, microwave, We stayed 4 days to see all that Alamogordo has to offer and Many made lots of recommendations that help us a lot. We will repeat the trip soon and we are looking forward to another great stay at Motel 6. Like they sa We live the light on for you.i highly recommend this Motel 6 in Alamogordo to anyone.

5 stars all the way!!! I was super nervous about staying in a Motel 6. It was sort of a last hope for an available room. The room was great. Clean and fresh! We check out early and head out on our journey back home to Oklahoma. Arrive and realize I am missing my medication bag. Major problem for me as I am Diabetic and have other health and allergy issues. I needed that bag! My husband called and they had found it in our room. They mailed it to us and it arrived today. Everything in it, even my jewelry and $100 cash. That says alot!

Everything was great except the room we had didn't have any hot water so we had wash up in cold water

Okay, hear me out. The place is super quiet. We had no issues at all. We loved it and will stay here time and time again when doing a Cloudcroft/LincolnNationalForest hike. The rooms are below par but cheap. The shower is awesome. The hotel is dated but kept up somewhat. No amenities to write home about. We just used it to sleep/rest and drive up to Cloudcroft to hike each day. If you're looking for a place to stay and drive to hike, see, or travel anywhere but be in your hotel all day...this is a wonderful place. We appreciate them. Great placement in to to other things. The staff was nice!

ROACH ALERT! Horrible place, worst I have EVER been in. First we got a room to which there was no access, because the card key didn't work. We got another room, there the door was hard to close, because it was hitting the wall and you had to really slam the door to get it to shut. Next we noticed a taped wall to cover hole... then bathroom, sink was not nice. Lastly and most disgusting, we saw roach by the fridge. After only 2h there we requested a refund and left. They charged us for cleaning fee, because they didn't spot any roaches... Very unhappy about it, especially since when I asked they said it will be a full refund. Then they changed their mind and made us pay for cleaning. It should have been sparkling clean before we came though! Anyway we had to find a different motel for that night. It's a shame, because we have been staying at motel 6 locations often (traveling with a dog, they are always pet friendly) and had nothing to complain about. The last one we stayed in was amazing compared to this. Ps. Forgot to mention the fridge didn't work! And the internet was either super slow or didn't work at all.

Room full of bugs . They change us to another room where the door would get stuck when opening and you have to pues really hard or slam it to close it . Shower water comes out really hot even if you put it on cold. Put in a complaint they never got back to me . Won’t recommended to anybody .

My husband says the Army has better beds . Terrible beds! Small, cramped room. AND THE AC DIDN'T WORK. On a positive note, the young man at check in was polite and helpful. Really a nice kid. BUT NO AC. I really should be refunded on that.

Place is a dump. Cigarette stains and other permanent stains and cracks in sink. Towels cheap. Floor dirty and dusty. Burned cigarette holes in curtains. Toilet super wabbly. Bathroom fan didn’t work and advertised washer didn’t work. Advertised pool was covered. Did not feel safe to go to car by myself to grab something I had forgotten (in evening). Only good thing was quick and polite receptionist.

We had a great stay. The room was clean bed was comfy a/c cold was a good location n quiet the young man at front desk was very nice n sweet. Not sure why some bad reviews we had a great stay we will be back thank you!!!

I'm amazed that this place is still in business! What a dump! I booked a room here a couple of months ago and immediately checked out on arrival. Dirty, abandoned cars in the parking lot. The only positive thing I can say about it was that I got an immediate refund for the 2 nights I had booked ... they must get a lot of practice doing that.

The Motel while an older building was recently painted and very very clean both inside and out. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed there for 8 days while visiting family and will stay there again in the future. The Meriot is across the street and one night at 2:30 am there was a loud altercation right in front of their front door. However no such events occurred at the less expensive and exclusive Motel 6. We highly recommend Motel 6 in Alamogordo NM. It is within walking distance to numerous restaurants.

Pro: the price of the room is affordable and the hotel is in a good location. Cons: There were no shampoo, only 1 bar soap. They didn't have enough towels. The room is tight with two queen beds and is not spacious. We could see cracks in the ceiling and in the walls.
