    I took my Royal Enfield motorcycle to this service centre to servicing my bike. Unfortunately, the lady manager's response left much to be desired. Despite the service centre's apparent busyness, I approached her politely, explaining the urgency, and requested they could at least tighten the chain as I had brought the bike with a lot of difficulty and couldn't take it back home in that condition. Her response was surprisingly rude and dismissive. She asked me to leave the bike there and come and collect it after 3 days. And was telling she was working in Raj TV and is a media person for no reason. Even I am in media but I don't think someone must be using that in places like this. I believe that attendants should maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with customers, especially in emergencies. This was such a disappointing experience. Customer service should always remain a top priority, regardless of how busy a service centre may be.

    Worst service center, they not even do proper water service and they will charge money even it's a free service they charged for chain lubricant but it was not done

    Had a Worst Experience in this service Centre. I left my bike for battery change as it was fully dead and I towed it to the service centre , it took them around ONE Month for changing battery saying they dint have budget to get battery and wanted me to get from outside so that they can change it. They refused to change it under warranty as well stating different reasons. I escalated to RE service line for delay for more than one month. After that they called but still it wasn’t fixed and only when I went there they fixed the new battery. There was no prior information given nor any person from service centre called to inform about the delay. The number given is of no use as no one will pickup the call. Kindly rethink your decision before leaving your vehicle

    This is the worst service center I've ever encountered in my life. RE should focus on reviewing their dealership and authorization process. The front office is very careless, and the engineers are the worst. Despite submitting the same complaint three times for my bike, the issue remains unfixed, persisting repeatedly. When attempting to call the front office for inquiries or to check your vehicle's status, no one answers the phone. You're forced to visit in person, yet even then, you have to wait for hours on end just to get a status update. During each visit, I witness customers arguing with Velan staff due to inadequate communication or service.

    My experience with this bike service was extremely disappointing. I brought in my bike for a battery replacement, and they promised it would be done in a few days. However, it took a whopping 14 days for them to complete the simple task. What made matters worse was the complete lack of communication from their end. I had to constantly chase them for updates, and they seemed indifferent to my concerns. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against using their services.

    Poor quality service. All kids doing job. My meteor had oil leak near oil filter before service. they promised it will be rectified. after delivery still same problem. After pointing out they rectified. They charge for chain clean and lube. the chain was not touched, still it had same dirt and black grease before.

    I gave the bike for 4th free service and mentioned clearly to check the chain clean and lube.. but they didn't even touch the chain it is same like before.... Not taking the service seriously..

    I am visiting this centre since 2017. But had bad experience in my last two visits. As third time, I had issues this time too and informed to manager. She asked me to revisit and will make sure everything delivered good. Seems manager joined only few weeks back and she is working towards the right process to provide permanent solutions for the problems. Due to delivery delay, happened to wait for an hour there. And able to see the response from some employees to manager is not good. It looks like lack of cooperation to the process.

    After several failed attempts in finding the best service centre for RE in Chennai, I ended up with RE Service centre in Alapakkam. My earlier experiences with service centres ar Greams Road and Ikkatuthangal were the worst ones. I was quite skeptical coming here. I called the hotline of Velavan Motors and they directed me to Alapakkam. Mr. Satish Kumar attended the call and he was very cordial. I briefly told him my experience at Greams Road, I came here and they patiently listened to my grievances. It’s a 12 year old Classic 350, they recommended some spares to be changed. A very thorough examination was done and Mr. Sathish have an assurance that he’ll personally attend to it. Polish, tank cleaning, acceleration wire change were recommended and they did a thorough job. They delivered as promised, all staff are friendly and understands the issue well. It looks like it’s a rebirth for my bike ! I would strongly recommend this service centre and ask people to approach Mr. Sathish Kumar.

    Honestly , the worst service centre i have been so far. My bike had literally 0 issues before I serviced my bike from this centre . Now it has so many issues . On top of that, when asked why something is missing or wrong the instant reply from the employee is that Royal Enfield is built like that or thats! H norm for royal Enfield bike . Most regretful experience ever . I didn't even want to add the start but otherwise I wouldn't be able to add the review . Bike owners , please be careful when you take your Royal Enfield to this service centre . I can guarantee that you will regret it .

    The dumbest and poorest customer service experience anyone can have. I have been trying to get a few spares for my bike for more than a year with them and still they are getting it for me. It would be better if velevan completely shuts down their service operations and goes for some other business.

    Went for service Dec 30th, they didn't pick vehicles asked to book appointment online. Then I booked online on Jan 3rd. Again they didn't picked the vehicle and said no engineers are available and rescheduled to Jan 5th. Now again today they rescheduled to 10th. Worst in service. Better ignore and go any other service centre.

    This place is the most pointless places I've ever seen. The staff are indifferent to your questions because they pretty much try to cheat you out of everything. They don't answer calls and if they do, not much use comes out it. Their servicing skills is out of this world. The motorcycle comes out even worse than when it went in. If you go there with 4 problems with your motorcycle, I can guarantee that not one of them will be solved and new problems will pop up. The manager has zero skills to explain anything to the customer. Only had to take more permissions from work to micro manage these people. Waste of time and money. Would never go back there. Huge disappointment.

    The staff were courteous. However due to recent rains the service centre was not accessible due to water logging. The staff helped in crossing the water by pillion riding on their bike.

    Gave my bike for service and listed lots of issues that needs to be fixed, for example to change the handlebard and change forks. But nothing was done properly on top f it, they dented my bike while changing the fuel tank cap. Raised a compalint but all tha I heard that supervisor not in so need to come another da for a week. Realy pathetic service And, right when I took delivery of my bike, my speedometere stopeed working. Really bad experience overall. I dont understand that right after mintues of service the speedometer stops owrking not sure how they check your bike when you give for service telling them specifalyl wht to do. Will never suggest anyone this place for service

    Worst service and we hear irresponsible answers from techinician. I have gven my classic 350 for varburator change and they have kept for 3days by telling silly reasons and finally they didn't cleaned petrol tank with water mix which is major source for carbouretor change after telling many times to Mr. Satish. Totally lieing and no pronlem rectified after raising complaint also

    Unable to give zero stars. hence the 1 star. Worst customer service I have ever seen. My bike is with them for more than 3 months now. There is no update till date. I wonder what they do to service a standard 500 bullet. Every time I write an email, it is assigned to a new service adviser and he/she starts from square one. They shamelessly commit that they will take care and after couple of conversations, don't respond to messages or calls.

    Poor Service. The mechanic didn't even know how to adjust the chain. Atlast all i need to change is the chain sprocket in the local Royal Enfield mechanic shop. But I got my bike delivered in time. ( Before the given time)

    Dear Management, The service center efficiently operates only because of two crucial staffs... 1. Mr. Sathish Kumar 2. Mr. Nirmal & Team Without them, this service center is merely useless. These two staffs work extra hours in fixing the mess created by the manager and other untrained staffs. Advise to Management: 1. Please answer the phone first. No one answers my call despite reaching the center multiple times for service appointment. I spoke to your management staff (Lady Manager) about this only to be ignored. Despite of multiple requests, There are no status updates to customer either leaving people in jeopardy. She was rude and doesnt help the customers at all wasting everyone's time. 2. There are no cashless insurance facility available. In the event of accident, Customer has to pay first to get the parts replaced and claim with insurance on their own. Why can't you offer cashless claims? 3. Huge delay in parts order and processing. I waited for 15 days to get a brake lever for my Classic 350 BS6. Despite the parts manufactured locally in chennai why would it take huge time? 4. Service workmanship needs improvement. Train your staffs better to fix everything in the first attempt itself. My bike was left unattended for 15 days in your service center. There was absolutely no support from your lady manager. Thanks to Mr.Sathish Kumar and Mr. Nirmal who intervened and helped the job to completion. The bike would never got delivered otherwise. Hope you would take corrective actions.     Horrible n pathetic !! Calling them to service my bike for last 3 months, bike battery has drained, no psi in tyres now, I brought it through authorized dealers at greams road, and the main contact number himself not picking or returning calls though i had one time contact about conditions and immediately resolve, from then on not assigning anyone nor call back after many calls..Do you want me to give to local mechanics to get done in 2 hrs and if any fault take liabilities?

    Used to be good. But the last service I did there was very poor. Bike not starting from the very next day I took the bike from service. Not able to contact them again through the numbers they provided. Pushed the bike to service center myself. Then they checked it again without putting any job card. and now again I’m stuck with the same complaint.

    Understaffed and poor work coordination among workers. Service appointment is very poor, they don't follow online and app bookings.They have their own list (only they know how list is prepared)had to struggle with repeated insistence to make them accept my service appointment which was made 2 days in advance. Takes more than expected period of service n delivery. Funny part is after my bike got delivered , next day they call me and ask to pickup my serviced from their station. Opted for drop at home for my bike...which they outsourced to 3rd party, they didn't have invoice and my online payment receipt, delivery person has to wait for more 2 hrs to pickup my bike n deliver it to me. Kindly avoid this service station .

    Really awesome service center and very hospitable in nature, quick service with experienced mechanicas, i faced an issue with accelerator cable on road and called this service center they solved the issue with in an hour, Mr Satish Kumar who is a manager here urged the products into available, organised and solved the issue very quickly

    Did my first service for super meteor 650. Manager Sathish and Mr.Leo explained clearly about the procedure and also regularly provided updates via phone regarding the status of service. Manager Sathish is an ardent RE rider and has recently joined the service centre. He has immense knowledge about the issues faced by customer, hence he resolves the issues with empathy

    My standard350 gave for the oil service after the service from the next week oil is leaking from the engine oil drain bolt and 2nd time im reaching the service center for the same issue and all those dayd im waiting in the service center for long time , worst service for the new bike its the 2nd service.

    I came here for 3rd, 4th & 5th service for my Meteor. They were continuously monitoring and following up for the next service due date. On 5th service when I gone to give for service they said they will not take service after 2 PM, this information they should have informed earlier when they are following up. Totally I can give 3.5/5 rating.

    Do not have basic communication from this agency. I felt product is best rest all are worst. But meteor fireball mileage been told as 35km/l. I do not see it touches even 20km/l. No mechanism to check and improve.

    Worst service experience so far from an enfield center. First attempt 1. Didn't set the clutch properly even after specifically asking to 2. Gave the bike with zero lube even after billing for the same 3. Despite fixing malfunctioning speedometer unit, made it worse and it stopped working altogether. 4. Didn't fix accelator cable issue even after pointing it out 5. Had to wait for 2 hrs to get the delivery and billing process completed. All these despite me informing i have to do a long ride and that is why i am servicing my bike. So had to do the ride in very poor conditon. I informed about all these issues while going itself and told i need these issues resolved when i get back. Attempt 2 1. Waited one whole week and even though they promised me someone would come pick it up....no one did. 2. No one was ready to drop it off either...had to again spend a total of 4hrs trying to fix these issues. First they asked me to wait and checked if they can immediately solve the issue...then 2 3 hrs later told me no they need more time so i have to go. 3. After fixing the above mentioned issues, front wheel started making big creaky sounds. All in all ... poor customer service and poor bike service

    First i really thank you to the team for the prompt response. The hunter 350 speedometer and Abs sensors stopped working within 15 days of the delivery. I made a complaint to Sales team Velavan Motors, obviously no help from them asusual. But the service manager Vijay from Velavan Motors called even if he's off to work. I visited the service centre, Naveen explained the basic service details and estimated service cost. The service was done within the time frame that was promised. Sathish explained the details of service and total bill. Still i was not happy with the engine noise, need to give sometime to get used to it. Even the service centre security gave warm welcome with smile. Overall was better experience with service team when comparing the sales team. Looking forward to receive same good service experience. Thank you once again.

    The reception and response is good. Took my 13k run thunderbird for service, had a few complaints like fork seal leak, front brake no response, pickup choking. Except for the oil seal leak all other complaints still remain same , went back as they also followed up since I complained regarding brake response while delivery. They adjusted something and there was very slight improvement in brake and the choke in pickup continues. Not bringing here again. Also from friends heard kumananchavadi service centre is better.

    Been here 5 times. It has been a disappointing experience everytime. Drawbacks: 1.Refuse to accept problems- My interceptor had a wobble and rust in silencer. They said they cant do anything. 2.Do not intimate probable time of delivery or status of work done 3.The billing section takes an inordinate amount of time to bill 4.Dont know how to deal with customers.The young technicians need a lesson on customer relations.
