This shopping center is based in the historic Val General modernist style building, which gives it its name. Built in 1912 by the architect Francisco Manuel Martínez Villena (Albacete, 1871-Valencia, 1949) commissioned by the lawyer Jacobo Serra. Originally conceived as a residential building, in 1986 its use changed to house this shopping center.

-The shopping center is not bad in general terms. -Mainly it enjoys an excellent location, located on Calle Tesifonte Gallego, in the urban center of the city of Albacete, surrounded by a multitude of streets with a wide variety of shops from all sectors. -Notable in the shopping center is the presence of La Mirilla, PULL&BEAR, TACO BELL and ZARA HOME. -They have their own public toilets.

Since they did renovations on the top floor and removed the 3 great restaurants there were... for me it is no longer the great place it was. It was my favorite place to dine. I hope they come back (Chinese, sandwiches and hamburgers).

It's good but for the place it is in it lacks shops and movement

I left something forgotten there and no matter how much I tried to contact the site I have not been able to. And after leaving the review is when they answered me and that was after two days, the customer service was terrible.

Val General and Calle Ancha are two shopping galleries located in the center of Albacete. The two buildings are original and their original exterior structure has been maintained. The Val General building, at least the façade that is preserved, was designed by Fco. Martínez Villena in 1912 at the request of Don Jacobo Serra (lawyer). The building connects to three streets: Tesifonte Gallego, Teodoro Camino and Tinte. The Calle Ancha building connects Tesifonte Gallego with Marqués de Villores (and also with Dionisio Guardiola if you exit through the Herso bookstore and with C/ Tinte if you exit through the Punto Roma store) . At the Marqués de Villores entrance is the entrance to the car park, open 24 hours a day. Most of the shops that you can find here are local companies (children's and youth clothing, sports, gifts, books, jewelry, food, hairdressing, agency trips, restaurants...) although we also have space for large chains. Everything you need, in the center and with the best quality.

It's a shame that a shopping center in the heart of the city has practically all the stores closed.

It was the center of Albacete...now almost all the stores are closed...a shame...I hope it goes back to what it was😢
