We
normally
stay
at
this
hotel
anytime
we
are
in
the
area.
However,
I
do
not
think
I
will
be
returning
anytime
soon.
We
booked
our
room
a
month
in
advance
as
a
group
with
our
travel
volleyball
team.
Unfortunately
when
we
arrived
in
the
room
someone
sat
on
one
of
the
queen
beds
and
fell
to
the
floor
as
the
bed
slammed
down
as
it
had
been
broken.
Upon
inspection,
there
was
metal
that
had
been
sticking
out
that
appeared
to
have
been
that
way
when
last
serviced
by
housekeeping.
We
informed
the
nice
gal
at
the
front
desk,
who
explained
that
they
were
fully
booked
in
the
double
queen
rooms
but
that
they
could
get
us
a
king
room
to
provide
for
the
second
bed.
She
explained
she
had
to
get
approval
from
her
manager
and
would
call
me
as
soon
as
she
could.
About
an
hour
later
she
calls
me
back
to
tell
me
that
management
requires
us
to
pay
an
additional
50%
of
the
rate
for
the
king
room
but
would
give
us
a
$20
credit
to
the
room
we
are
already
in.
I
told
her
that
this
was
unacceptable
and
we
would
be
down
to
speak
to
the
manager.
My
husband
argued
for
a
good
15
minutes
but
to
no
avail.
We
had
5
people
in
our
room,
there
was
several
big
events
going
on
in
town
and
every
other
hotel
was
booked
so
they
were
going
to
cash
in
because
they
didn't
think
we
had
any
other
choice
but
to
pay.
Thankfully
were
able
to
find
a
last
minute
cancelation
at
another
hotel
across
town
so
we
checked
out
and
moved
hotels.
Never
in
my
life
have
I
been
asked
to
pay
more
when
they
aren't
able
to
provide
what
I
am
paying
for.
This
is
supposed
to
be
the
hospitality
business
but
apparently
not
at
this
facility.
