Great place before crossing the bridge visit here to view the lengthy & lovely bridge

Small park. Has a lighthouse, some play boat structure, a memorial, a red rail road car, some rail road tracks and an information centre. Great views of the Confederation Bridge though. Can take some pretty good photos of the bridge here.

Great historic park with a beautiful view of the Confederation Bridge. There's restrooms and it is clean. A must stop!

Confederation Bridge is an impressive Canada's symbol. Must visit at least once in life.

Worth a visit to see the view and learn a bit about how people and cargo got to the island before the bridge was built. Lovely open area at the island end of the Confederation Bridge. It’s kept well groomed and free of litter by the maintenance crew who are friendly and will to answer questions about the park and the area in general. Can get crowded if there is a cruise ship in Charlottetown. I was there when three busses arrived at nearly the same time and disgorged their loads. The bathrooms are open during the day (hours are posted) and are kept clean.

Right of the confederation bridge you come across one of the magnificent views of Prince Edward Island. Every visitor who comes in PEI must take a stop to this park. It has a great view of confederation bridge and the PEI harbor. The wind and breeze makes it more cheerful entry point. The park has wonderful parking and can accommodate any rush time. The park has clean washroom if needed. definitely the best place to start your trip in PEI.

An okay very small park with a very big and fantastic view of the bride and bay. The interesting history is documented near the parking. It also has some cute play structures for the kids and restrooms. Fishermen can often be seen nearby. Well worth the time to visit.

An Overall Well-Maintained Park This is our 3rd time coming here (2008, 2017, and Jul 2023) as part of our road trip to PEI and The Maritimes. Fond memories, excellent view of Confederation Park, nice playground, and especially the lighthouse (although in all 3 times I have come we weren't able to climb up). This is a nice pit stop for those wanting to have last glimpse of PEI before leaving - or for those who just have arrived!
