Man oh man. Our go to place has transitioned an ownership change and menu adjustment only to become our go to place again. The oyster plater was fantastic. The dill salmon was great. Could have used a little more dill sauce. Fried green tomatoes were the best. Key lime pie excellent.

I was quite impressed by this place. The atmosphere is fantastic. Service was great. Food was awesome. Of everything we had the shrimp appetizer with Thai chili sauce was the best and will probably be a must have every time we visit. I had the special, the shrimp etouffee. A dish that is different everywhere you go and you never know what you're going to get. Here, it was pretty darn good. It needed hot sauce (in my opinion anything Cajun does). And the owner was quite accommodating in the hot sauce selection. It was a great dish that I would definitely order again. We also tried the creme brulee and peanut butter pie. They were good. Not the best I've had but they were definitely worth having for dessert. Their wine selection, while small, was good. They had some excellent options. I also tried an espresso martini. If you like a very coffee based version that is less creamy, it's the way to go. The old fashioned left a little to be desired. I did make a mistake of not picking my bourbon but it still seemed to be lacking in flavor. I didn't finish it. That being said, I know for a fact if I had asked for something in particular to make it better, they would have made it happen. (Again. Service was perfect) I'll be back. Often. Such a great addition to the Albemarle downtown.

We had a wonderful tome there foe my wife’s Birthday! Rhiana which you will see in the picture was our waitress and she did a wonderful job handling our table!

1st I would like to say the I really appreciate that The Courthouse Tavern and Table kept the formerly known Off the Square(OTS) look and feel with some very nice updates. The Service, Food, and Drinks are still great. I would most definitely recommend if you are look for a very nice dinner 🍽️ with a very nice setting which gives you a relax feeling. Will definitely be going back!!

The food was amazing. Everything thing we ordered was top notch. We ate the pimento cheese eggs, Shrimp & Grits, Burger w/ fries & side salads. It was so good we all shared our food with each other. The service we received was great. Everyone was friendly & made us feel welcome. I think we left with new friends. We can’t wait to go back & try something new.

Always fantastic service here. I love the people. The owner takes time to meet everybody. It has a lot of the same old staff from the off the square days, which I really appreciate. There are some wonderful ladies that do a great job making everybody feel at home! The food is always wonderful, and I highly advise you to suggest the chef make some more meatloaf! He's only made it once but it was amazing!

Food was delicious. Service was prompt and pleasant and the location is absolutely wonderful.

I love this place, services was great, staff very friendly and i love my food, i loved my Fried Green tomatoes salad. I will be back soon, 100% satisfy.
