I love their Philly Cheese steak and french fries. Always cooked perfectly.

Palermos is one of the best places ive eaten. The food is amazing, portions are awesome, and staff is as friendly as it gets. You are constantly checked on by a waiter or waitress, the only downside is the prices are high but perfect for the portions that you receive.

Tried this place for the first time. Staff was nice, but honestly the place needs to be closed down for a few days to do some detail cleaning. Pizza was dry with very little sauce and no type of seasoning for flavor. It also had an after taste of old grease. I wont be returning, the environment should be a whole lot cleaner. If the dining area needs a good cleaning I can just imagine the kitchen and coolers where food is stored and prepared looks like. Only ordered to give the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they had a lunch rush and thats why it lacked cleanliness. After seeing floor boards, and a good look at the carpets i realized that's not the case. I wouldn't recommend until its in better condition. Lack of cleanliness can lead to illness for customers.

Just ordered a calzone, a lasagna and salad and the calzone had hardly any meat for the price. My wife said she asked for meatballs to be included and I went to pick up the order and guess what? No meatballs and hardly any meat. And canned mushrooms? Wow not even fresh mushrooms. Infact it’s the worst calzone that I have ever had. Would mot recommend the calzone. Stick to pizza so you can see what you get. Also don’t do take out because once you get home you’re stuck with it! When called in to make a complaint and see how they would handle it; i was astound that there was no ‘“love for the customer”, not a i’m sorry or we can make another one for you or anything. So if won’t be going back and if you’re mew on Albemarle, don’t waist your time! You all need to at least try to do better!

Hands down, The ABSOLUTE BEST CALZONE ever. The dough, filling, cheese and sauce we PERFECT :) Salad was larger than expected. We ordered the small Calzone and it was HUGE. Filled the 15" platter.

Typical Greek- Italian-American food. Casual dining with an unpretentious atmosphere.. Food made to order.. Ample menu: The Greek salad with chicken is absolutely the best. Good pizza too.. Another favorite is the Steak Stromboli which is enough for two average adults. Its delicious. The manicotti and stuffed shells are okay but nothing special. Baked Ziti is good if you like a strong dash of rosemary. Sweet and unsweetened tea is available. Its usually busy but not crowded so you can find a parking space and a table. Don't be in a hurry. Plan on 30-45 minutes for a meal or more. I do recommend this restaurant. Its not a five star but its offers some of the better dining fare for this town.

I’m from out of town. This was my second time here. My friend and I happened upon it our last time in town. Not in a location you would think to look. Ordered ham calzone. It was delicious!!! Waitress was very pleasant. I would recommend the food here.

The food was off the chain.... Fantastic chicken salad and they had a special on zorba or some kind of dish that had rice and onions and green pepper they only serve it I think once a month oh my goodness it was delicious... This place is worth the drive.

Palermos is kinda of a hidden gem of the hole in the wall variety. The food is consistently good and the service is not bad it does suffer when busy as much of the time they've got but one server.

Seasonings in the lasagna was awful taste more like curry than oregano. Not normal flavors. Lasagna was also so greasy Table spoons of oil. We were the only two people in the entire restaurant. Cook was shouting and slamming things in the kitchen. We felt very uncomfortable with the argument. Waitress curled up in a booth falling asleep. Having to call the waitress to bring drinks, to bring bread that was supposed to come with the meal, also to bring the check. This place has gone down hill not very professional.

I've been a regular for about a year, the food is usually good, never had any problems But I guess they no longer take call-ins, I called everyday for over a week noone ever picks up no matter how long I let it ring. Not very professional.

Had chicken Alfredo. Seemed like water down Alfredo with no flavor. The chicken was all dark meat and fatty for me. Would recommend trying something different.

If you like Italian food, then Palermos is the place to go! I have been there on several occasions and have brought friends there also. For the price of the meal, it is well worth it (inexpensive). The place is always clean, the tables are usually set for the customers and the waitress's go out of their way to take care of you. Palermos is the place to go for the lunch or evening meal.
