My food was quite tasty. The waiter was friendly and attentive without being overly so. I liked the general ambience of the restaurant.

Absolutely ruined the surprise party I planned. The server (Elvira) completely ignored our table, and came over a total of 3 times in the two hours we were there. I’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times but we will no longer return to eat here. There is no reason I should ever have to get up THREE times to see where my server is. Another server stopped what he was doing and finally got our drinks and food. Elvira stopped by every other table and came by ours and walked away mid order to attend to those other tables. She didn’t do that to her other tables. That was the worst discrimination we’ve ever experienced as the only African American table in the establishment at the time. I’m appalled by her horrible service.

Great place to eat really nice people

Great place to eat for lunch and dinner. I go here for lunch a lot during the week because it is one of the few places you can sit down to eat and not worry about getting back to work late. They are never crowded for lunch and their service is super fast. They get your food to you in no time. Nice people, manager is fun to talk to. Food is delicious. Good beer specials.

Great lunch. We both had the chicken vegetable soup. It was loaded with chicken, avocado and pico de gallo. Large bowl is enough for 2 people!

Have been here 2 times both times the food was prepared well and tasted great. 5* on the food and 3* on the service this is why I give a 4* total. Possibly they are too occupied with something else 🤔 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm not sure where to start. The staff is quick and efficient. There's never a dirty table in sight. They do the whole "birthday thing" & give you a shot of tequila with a special guitar song. I usually get the basic acp & a pitcher of the Texas margaritas. Super large space & beautiful murals on the walls as well.

Beautiful murals hand painted tastefully with true skill. My grandson and I enjoyed the take out and friendly service so much he got a cool t-shirt.

The atmosphere and interior is beautiful. My husband and I have been coming here even before they were Pancho Villa and both establishments had excellent staff and even better food. My favorite is the Juan special texano (highly recommend this dish if you love A.C.P.) This is the best mexican style restaurant in Albemarle by far.

I tried Pancho Villa's for the first time. It is an older building but they keep it up very nicely. I was impressed with how clean it is. The wait staff was nice. And the menu was very large with lots of selection. The meal I had was great. I recommend this place.

This was a awful experience.. ordered a combo dinner and it was a taco and burrito and enchiladas thing i told her Plain only lettuce and cheese and she brings both the enchiladas and burrito to the table and i told her i asked for it plain and i told her i wanted it remade and she told me that i would have to pay again for the food that was messed up im sorry im not paying for food i did not eat and so she gets a manager and he tells me that it was very wasteful for me to do that im sorry your waitress is slow… i ended up paying for one taco and a drink.. awful experience

I work out of town alot and anytime we are in albamarle this is the first place we eat lunch at it is an amazing place with an awesome atmosphere and great service. They have some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had I would definitely say if you are in albamarle looking for somewhere to eat go here

The food was good and prepared the way we requested. The servers were responsive and quick. We enjoyed eating there and would visit again.

Food is really average to below. Your order takes literally 2 minutes to be brought out to you so they clearly are just using a buffet style kitchen in the back and you get less than fresh food

Food was good. Bathrooms could use some repairs in the womens. First toilet had no seat. Next toilet had a broken handle.

I loved their food. My son didn't really like their hard tacos, but he is picky. I had the fajitas and they were really good with a big portion. Menu is huge with a lot of options, will definitely go back to enjoy.

Great little Mexican place. Food is terrific. The parking lot could use a facelift. There used to be handicap parking but all the signs have been removed. Now there are some convoluted/vague/weird parking spaces really really close to the entrance.

We went on a Sunday a week ago. The place was PACKED!!!! The food was so good, the service was on time. It was good to see folks enjoying themselves and the roar of conversations. Then all of sudden music starts blaring and I look around for the band but there was no band!!! Lol the music was a bit loud that day but we didn't mind. I just bebopped while I ate. My husband just shook his head and ate his burritos.

Food was ok, nothing worth complimenting or complaining about. Service was subpar at best. I don't recommend.

First time was amazing, second time was even better. If you are ever around the area, Pancho Villa's is the Mexican restaurant that you want to try. Family friendly, staff jokes a little and they are happy to serve. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Food was perfect, and good atmosphere! Try the Chicken and mixed vegetables with cheese sauce!!!💥💥💥

This place has some amazing food and the works are very kind. We have been coming here for a very long time and seen the place with many owners this one is amazing. One thing I do have to say is the place could use a lil updating other than that it's awesome

Salsa is particularly good, can't go wrong with and of the dishes with fajita style components. Other food is bland for Mexican but prices and service are good. Their enchilada sauce is a big no, it's the light orange kind that tastes from a can.

I ordered a chicken burrito and received a beef one. Service was slow. 45 minutes to get food after ordering. Not our waitress fault. My wife stated that her meal was sloppy and all run together. Note: Second time going here and again, not a very good experience. Not likely to return.

Muy fantástico!! The best tortilla chips in the world and I should know. I have had chips from around the world and these are by far the best. All the food and service was great. Come on down, you won’t regret it. 😋

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I never ran out of tea. The cleanliness not so much and the bathroom was down right disgusting and smelled of mildew. The chips were okay but the fry oil clearly needed to be changed and had a tinge of burnt plastic taste. The salsa was very watered down and possibly the worst I have had. The cheese dip was much better though. The guacamole salad on my main meal was fresh, crisp, and tasted great however the chimichanga suffered the same burnt plastic taste that the chips did and left a bad taste in my mouth. Although the staff were super friendly and attentive, I would not eat here again due to the quality of the food.

Employees were funny and kind and the food is amazing overall had a good experience and this place is definitely recommend.
