Great little museum and a bargain at only €2 entry. So interesting to see the inside of these houses. Don't miss the little shop at the bar where you can stop in for a wine tasting for only €3. Wonderful place to learn about the history of the trulli.

Fairy town Alberobello, Italy 🇮🇹 This trullo was built in the 18century and furnished accordingly. It’s fascinating to see how much space there was in this trullo in the downstairs, and then ascend to see the two top rooms. An interesting insight into this trullo for a genteel inhabitant.

It is definitely unique and it comes highly recommended, but it’s a long drive just to look at houses with a pointy hut. The history is interesting, but there is not much of a town once you’re done with the old city.

Interesting place, full of information, with lots of objects exposed, helping you to better understand the life in a trullo. Decent entry price. Visited 1 hour before closure, it was not so crowded then....

The " trullo sovrano " is so called because in Alberobello is the only one with a second floor consisting in one room , it is furnished and for 2 € you can visit it . In a short some explanation about the " trulli " : originally they were built to house equipment used by farmers and they were scattered in the fields of this area of Apulia. When Albrobello was only a wooded area, a new taxation of the kingdom of Naples was enacted on the houses. To favor the transformation of the wood into an agricultural area, the lord of this fief allowed the peasants to build their house in the shape of a trullo precisely to avoid it, this is the period in which this town developed. Then the law changed and things changed; most of Alberobello trulli have been replaced with common buildings but two districts have survived as they were and are now a UNESCO site.

I really liked the location, the history and the scenic value. I belive a bigger diversity of outlets and goods available beyond just tourist souvenirs would add to the place. Parking was available, but a bit hit and miss!

Really great ‘little’ museum. You can’t visit Alberobello and not visit the famous Trullo Sovrano. The place has a tonne of history and is a really interesting visit. The place is deceptively large too! Staff were friendly but there is a staggered entrance to allow other visitors to go around and leave before others are let in

Not much to see on the inside, sincerely I expected more history or something about the trulli. It was only info about this specific trullo that it is unique, luckily it only costs 2€, so it was ok why u see for the money.

Of course it makes sense to come inside and see how life was organised in trulli. Very informative. There is also a wine tasting place in the yard.

It's interesting to see the construction of the trulli from the inside. If you go to Alberobello it's a must to see the interior of at least one. That completes the tour to the old city.

This is the best example of a Trullo. It consist of 2 levels. On the first floor you'll find kitchen and living room, as well as a bed room. On the second floor you'll find a weaving loom. From the second floor you can see the other trulli on the street. In the kitchen there is a long explanation about wines in Puglia region.
