Parking, toilets and a walkway. The park has a large hampster wheel which is a bit different from the normal park. The beach is swimable at high tide and lots of people come here to launch paddle boards and kayaks.on a windy day it's fun to watch all the kite surfers here. There is some motorway noise but it is a city.

We cycled/walked from Waterview to here and love this small marine reserve park.. Not so crowded playground, with few picnic tables, toilets and parking..

Nice little park, perfect for a picnic with the tables provided. Not such a nice beach for swimming though as mostly mud and not sand. There is however a new playground good for taking the kids too.

Good venue. Great for families, talks and walking your dog (with leash) some parks may prohibit this please check sign or with council. Very spacious and new playground facility, nature walk tracks and great scenery for seeing the sunset. 3x large park benches avaible. Looks like they have been targeted by vandals (set alit). Please note take your rubbish with you if bins are full!! Call up council if bathrooms need attending as well. Overall good venueπŸ˜€ ***Read the signpost on entry for when gates are open and when closed***

Really cool local park, feels very open and peaceful here. Good - equipment is pretty decent, giant hamster wheel definitely loads of fun. Close to the beach, has a small bike track leading out to Pt Chev and massive toilets and even has a shower. Bad - no sun cover, killer during the day. Not close to any shops or cafes. Great place to picnic and relax with the kids.

A great spot for children to play, this area is pleasantly peaceful on weekdays, offering ample space for little ones to enjoy. However, be mindful that weekends can get quite busy, with teenagers occasionally occupying the kids’ play area. It’s a reminder that there’s a child at heart in every age group, but this might be a bit surprising for those expecting a quieter environment.

Good position by the water's edge. Children's playground looked good. Toilet facilities available. I went for the coastal walk, but it was closed for maintenance.

Great big mouse wheel for the kids to run in. More suited to preschool/younger primary school. 10 year old got bored. 5 year old loves it. Great big open space for picnics / to throw a ball round in

This park is my favourite. The best part is, this is located water side.

Love this spot but does get busy and very small number of carparks. Nice place to chill out and overlook western motorway and te atatu peninsula

There is a playground in the park and also small beach. It is very close to town. Think this is an awesome place to visit.

Running review Great 800m slightly uphill paved section particularly good for repeats. Not usually too busy with foot traffic and plenty of parking at the park. Clean toilets and family friendly playground.
