Went for a spa night the day before leaving to go home. Picked the bath-scrub-massage combo and went at 8 pm. The place is stunningly beautiful- just as pictured in the photos. Candles, soothing music, light scents, and the sound of water. The pools were amazing, but the scrub and massage were just what I needed. Was so relaxed and invigorated at the same time, if that makes sense. Felt totally safe and pampered the whole time. The lovely young man that did my scrub and massage was so kind and respectful. Absolutely would do this again!!?

Wow. Every single detail of this space and experience is so perfectly executed. It is truly wonderful. I paid for the 30 min massage and 60 min bath experience and felt this was the perfect combination. Highly recommend.

Personally I think this experience is overrated for many reasons. The baths were a cool experience considering we had just gone to the Alhambra; however, be warned that the massage you book along with the bath experience is not like a traditional massage where you have a private room. The room that you get a massage in is connected to another room so you constantly are hearing noises such as conversations amongst massage therapists, and other people coming in and out to either get massages or finish up their massages. Thus, it completely defeats the relaxation element. You also get a massage in your soaking wet bathing suit which is pretty uncomfortable in my opinion. I wish they would have given the option to take off your suit, dry it in a bathing suit dryer, and provide you with a robe. In addition, you walk around barefoot all throughout the baths which kind of grossed me out considering ring worm is a real thing and is very contagious.Furthermore, we paid for a hot stone bed and we did not have one - the bed we both laid on was cold. We also didn’t have any essential oils - they asked if we wanted some and we both said yes, but didn’t get any. Lastly, the face massage is a joke to be honest. It is the masseuse lightly scratching your face with her nails - no true massage at all. All in all, I wouldn’t pay almost 300 euro to go here again. I was pretty disappointed. Save your money.

A factory not a Spa ! You want relax ? Is not going to be here . You only want to spend time with the spa?go for it. The place ; for sure beautiful , and original . Thé are included and tasty. But too small for the number of people they get inside. The massage : unfortunately too expensive for what it is. I felt robbed(236€ for two) ..thinking I’ll get a good massage but I’m sure your boy/girl friend can make it better. It’s not a professional massage at all. The body scrub skip it , they just quickly rub your body. The staff : smiler and nice but will hurry you up . To get their next customers. The facilities ; too busy , after your “relaxing time” you’ll deal with many people in the bathrooms. My advice ? Come only for the spa . Otherwise I tried the Senator Hotel spa the day before and was a way better and less expensive! They take care of you and you reel feel relaxed. Hope you guys will take care of the quality and not quantity in the future . Cause it is why people won’t come back.

Lovely location in the old town and easy to get to. The entire experience from start to finish is a very smooth one as the staff speak multiple languages and are great at guiding you every step of the way. For a first time hammam goer this was a wonderful experience. I personally preferred the baths purely because of the lovely interior and calming vibe. The massage was a nice touch and 30mins was sufficient. I highly recommend trying all the teas and smelling the essential oils. Don’t forget to bring your swim suit. That is all your need.

Front desk staff was helpful but once you are in the bath is not organize I just left today and one of the masseur was rude and the other masseurs try to cover for her. I went there with a big group but it dint live up to the vibe at least this location

I messed up and got my time wrong and they were very accommodating rescheduling me, which was incredibly kind! I had a marvelous massage and time lounging in the baths. I went late (11:30) and there were a few times I had entire baths to myself. Antonio was my masseuse and he did a great job with my back. The complimentary spa items/shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom are very nice. Very relaxing after a week of walking!

We booked MIDRA 45 with the Arab bath + the traditional Kessa bath (hammam/scrub) + 30mins relaxing massage for the night after visiting the Alhambra during the day. It was exactly what we needed! The baths were relaxing with 3 different water temperatures. We didn’t try the coldest one but the other two. The staff told us in the beginning they will come find us in the bath pools when our masseur/masseuse is ready for Kessa and massage. Kessa was nice, though the scrub they use was a bit harsh on the skin but my skin felt like a baby afterwards. The massage was also comforting with just about right pressure. All in all I’d recommend this place. Remember to bring your swimming suit as the place serves all genders!

Just WOW. Service was amazing from the moment we walked in to end. I was thankful that everyone spoke English and explained everything very well. The interior of the baths was stunning, make sure to look up and admire the artwork on the ceilings. Recommendation: - must book in advance!! - for the ladies, wear a simple bikini top that’s easy to take off and put on, you’ll be asked to take it off during the massage and put it back on

First off, please know that when booking, this is a very commercialized experience, with that being said, I highly recommend visiting. At first it felt very rushed; however, once we received our massages we were felt less rushed and enjoyed relaxing around the pools and hot stone. It is absolutely beautiful. Such a unique experience. It is not like a traditional Turkish bath, but it is super cool and we will be back. Also, I had the absolute best massage there. Definitely recommend.

My second time here. The baths are fantastic and a wonderful experience. Be warned, however, that if you book the (expensive) 60 min “deep” massage it will significantly impact your time in the baths - I was only allowed 30 mins since they work on the basis of shifts - you all go into the baths and leave at the same time. This wasn’t enough. In other words you pay (much) more to get less. Secondly, they advertise a “deep” 60 min massage but it was nothing of the sort. I’d hoped it would be a deep tissue massage, which is what I needed. Instead what I got was simply a longer Swedish massage which was basic and didn’t do what I’d hoped.

Wonderful experience top to bottom. The employees are very clear and considerate and lead you closely throughout the whole experience. The massage I got was fantastic and my masseuse was sure to check in with me often to make sure I was comfortable. The inside is absolutely stunning, we sat in the baths and stared at the intricate ceilings, completely blissed out. Must visit when you're in Granada

Excellent break after Alhambra. Get there well in advance of your procedure time to get some pools/ steam time in (better to do that before your massage - if nothing else not to carry a wet swimsuit around). Oh, and yes, don't forget your swimsuit like I did! They can sort u out but eur 30.

Beautiful place, looks like Alhambra - and nice water. A little to touristy for me - very noisy and busy at first, and personnel keeps asking to see you wrist/bracelet when you are in the baths. Try and find non-popular times to visit for at more relaxing stay.

Having experienced hammams in Morocco, I was excited to see how this would compare. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and paled in comparison to the hammams of Morocco. The place was incredibly busy and it felt as if we were on a conveyor belt from beginning to end. The decor is lovely and staff were generally very polite. The sheer number of people present did not give us an entirely relaxing experience. The noise levels between people talking, more people constantly streaming in, and the movement of people from pool to pool (and steam room) did not meet our expectations for the price paid. The itself massage was okay. We were hurried upstairs into a small room which was shared by other strangers, a thin piece of linen separated us and didn’t offer any real privacy for an intimate relaxing moment. The experience was finished off with the option to sit or lie down (again with numerous other people) on a hot rock. Needless to say there wasn’t enough space for everyone and some people left or skipped this immediately. With less people present, this could certainly be a 4 star experience.

A must visit in Granada. The whole experience was amazing. Relaxing baths, massages, tea and the architecture. It never felt crowded, areas were clean, and staff was respectful. The only thing is their way of checking when it's time for your massage is a bit inefficient. They talked to me a couple times to check but I wasn't the right person (not a huge bother though). It was a cool experience that I would definitely recommend and would go back. I did the 30 min massage and that gave me plenty of time to enjoy the baths and have a good massage.

10/10 recommend! My partner and I are backpacking on a budget but decided to splash out for his birthday and went to relax in the baths. The whole experience was luxurious and relaxing from start to finish. We arrived around 30 minutes before our start time as they recommended so there was plenty of time for the lovely staff to explain everything to us and get us ready. There were four pools, a cold pool, a medium temperature pool and two hot pools - there was also a steam room. We got 90 minutes to relax and enjoy moving between the baths and the steam room and there was also really nice tea out for us to drink as we pleased. The rooms had beautiful tiles and were absolutely stunning. There was a row of essential oils which you could use on your hands and made our skin so soft. It all felt so luxurious! We personally didn't get massages and didn't feel like we missed out. Everything was very clean and I think that there is a limited amount of people permitted in each time slot so it never felt crowded. It actually felt quite private which was lovely. Overall it was an amazing experience and we'd go again.

Wow, what an experience. Every single detail has been meticulos thought to provide us with an unique experience: the candle lights, the smell, the sound, the water temperature, the whole structure (they provide you with towels, hair and body products). Many people think its similar to turquish bath, but its not. They have these big pools made of Stones, all walls and top handed made, different water temperatures according to the pool so you can feel the contrast. The stuff is just amazing. Mr Jesus is lovely, gently explained all of the details and how to get the best of it. Eva provided me with a 5 star service massage. I wouldn't leave Granada without going there for sure

Really stunning baths, three pools of differing temperatures as well as a steam room. Massages available although we didn’t fancy one as I really need a deep tissue massage and that isn’t what they offer. Moroccan tea available too. Only need your bathing suit, towels, shower gels and shampoos etc all provided. No footwear required inside.

Absolutely gorgeous facility. The staff were extremely accommodating, we got a 30 min massage plus time in the baths and that was about perfect. We came near the end of the day and I'm not sure if that's why, but the "hot" bath wasn't very warm, but that's probably mostly personal preference. Would go back every day if I could.

I thoroughly enjoyed this ! My masseuse, Sonia was kinda average, probably she was in a rush to complete and got done early. But if I talk about the space, it's worth going! One of the best part of our trip

The venue itself is beautiful and well worth a visit. However there were quite a lot of people, the staff felt rushed and I would definitely skip the treatments which were very underwhelming. The kessa was rushed and not performed in a steam room as should be. Basically just getting a half hearted scrub with a wet cloth. The massage was terrible, even after I asked for more pressure it was more like being poked for 15 minutes. The steam room although nice, was not hot enough. The cold plunge pool was the highlight. If you do go, pay only for the bath visit and go late at night.

It's pretty and relaxing, but the hot bath isn't very hot and the massage therapist for my husband was coughing, sneezing and blowing her nose throughout. That is bad enough at the best of times, but during Covid is unacceptable. We complainined st the front desk and they apologized and then were dismissive. They should have credited us back part of the price.

The place is gorgeous, the staff is nice, everything was clean. But I won't come back as I felt I went into a different kind of SPA... they were couple on top of each other, on their laps, kissing very intensely(and loudly), hugging and everything in every bath right in front and next to the people around. You enter a bath and feel you're disturbing a very private moment. I came with my boyfriend but we survived not to go intimate for 1 hour bath and we were respectful to others...I felt way too uncomfortable to go back. But if you don't mind sharing other people's intimate moment, go for it as the place itself is great

I choosed the 45 mins bath + exfoliation and 15 mins massage and that was pretty right although I would of love to have more time for a massage .. the atmosphere is so relaxing and the service is excellent, tea is provided with/without sugar and every detail for the after shower is there..from deodorant, oils for the body, dryer GHD , night cream .. 👍 It s a excellent treat for the soul !

Well, not the most pleasant atmosphere. Too many people per slot time. So it was hard to find a spot to relax. Some guest weren’t exactly respectful in terms of their surroundings. The massage wasn’t impressive. (Especially no privacy this is happening in the same room.) I don’t think I will return there is way better place if you are looking for a real massage here in Granada. The bath terms are fine, the Hammam could have been way warmer…as well.

  • 4/5 Ed S. 5 months ago on Google • 10 reviews
Been to the Hammam a number of times and have always loved it. I guess expectations were high but unfortunately yesterday they fell somewhat short. Never seen it so busy, so much so that a couple of the baths were so full we couldn’t get in them until others moved. The noise level was also loud in the baths area on occasion. It’s clearly meant to be a quiet place. Also the massage was a slight disappointment as it wasn’t in the usual place where you have a private area, instead it was upstairs and shared with others , although there were thin curtains. I was literally 2 meters away from someone else. Not very private at all. But, I will return.

Fantastic location and service. Massages and hot/warm/cold pools were very relaxing. Many options for fragrances used and services offered. Cold water and hot tea are offered during and after.

A very nice place but let down by their time limits, it all felt rushed and then changing rooms over crowded which made all their covid policies pointless.

  • 5/5 Andrea M. 2 years ago on Google
Highly recommend this experience!! If you’ve ever been to a Nordic spa it’s like that but only Arabic style with warm, hot and cold pools and a variety of massages. The best part was the tranquility and the decor. Candles lit all the baths and for the most part people respected not talking. Our favourite was the hot pool which had 25-30’ high ceilings and orange Arabic design carved into the walls. It was so peaceful and beautiful, and apparently built within a 13th century building. The only negative feedback we have would be that it was a bit busy when we arrived and it felt rushed getting us in. It was also unclear as to when we were having our massages (beginning, middle or end of the time we had in the pools) so we kept getting told to sit there and go there. We ended up having them at the beginning which was perfect so that we could enjoy the pools uninterrupted.

It was just amazing! We were there this afternoon and it was super beautiful! We had a one hour massage and we are super relaxed now. Thanks to Andrea and Irene! The location is so special, never seen something like this before. Everybody there was so sweet and nice. We highly recommend this place! It was such a highlight for us.

Highlight of our trip to Granada. Kind service, beautiful setting, decent massage, overall a cool experience. I wish the water was just a little hotter but I’m being nit picky there.

Genuinely one of the most mindful and relaxing experiences I have ever had. The staff were so kind and accommodating. I had a massage and scrub and it was absolutely fantastic. The tea and chilling out in the pools was absolutely lovely too with the body lotion, facial tonic and day and night facial cream in the ladies changing being a lovely touch. Would DEFINITELY come back.

  • 5/5 Stacy H. 7 months ago on Google
Really enjoyed this experience! I decided to only do a 15 min massage because I read all the reviews about it being a lackluster massage, but I wish I did 30 minutes because 15 was not enough! Did it get out my knots and kinks? No. Was it fully relaxing and I didn't want it to end? Yes. The pools were nice, but 75 minutes is way more than I needed. I actually left after my massage (around the 60 out of 90 minute point), and I was the only one in the locker room, which was nice, no wait!

  • 4/5 Elle R. 1 year ago on Google
An incredible experience. I 100% recommend visiting this place. It is like being transported to another world. The burnt orange walls & the blue tiles are beautiful & the whole place is dimly lit with candles & aromas of essential oils. There are 5 separate pools of varying heat & a steam room. My only complaint was it wasn't enough time. We paid extra for a 30 minute massage & assumed this would be on top of the 1 & a half hours allotted time in the spa. This was not the case & 1 hour is simply not enough time to fully appreciate it's beauty & benefits.

I go here every time I can. Wonderful peaceful and calming atmosphere, warm and gentle staff. Worth every penny if for the treatments, but always think one day I will just go for the baths because I always feel I'd like longer to just float and enjoy the water! Definitely a better experience the less you talk and just let your mind wander.

Fantastic experience. The baths are not very big (three pools and one steam sauna), but the interior is pretty and the candles give it a special feel. You can imagine for a moment that you moved back in time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. No need to take with you anything but a swimming suit, towels and cosmetics are provided, access is only barefoot. Visited on weekday, 10 pm, it was not overcrowded.

  • 5/5 Kari S. 1 year ago on Google
What an incredibly relaxing experience! Everyone we spoke to was kind and so soothing. My partner and I had the Midra 30 service, which is access to the baths plus 30 minutes of massage. We felt so amazing after. It a sensory experience in every way. They offer everything you need in more- they have delicious mint tea to drink, lockers that lock on their own, bags for wet bathing suits, towels to use, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, as well as various lotions and creams in the change room to put on after you are done. There are attendants who explain where to go and what to do in a step by step way. It did not seem crowded at all, it is definitely popular but I felt as if my partner and I had plenty of space in different pools and the sauna. The massage/ treatment service is lovely. The interior design is incredibly beautiful. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you are waiting for someone, you do need to wait outside at the end and the times listed on google are not correct (when we were walking over, google said it was closed but thankfully that's a mistake).

great experience, particularly after a long day on the road. the hand-washing before really set the tone. the massage, which i booked for an hour, was one of the best and most relaxing i’d ever had. was lucky to have had a bit of time to luxuriate in the baths before, but after the massage i made sure to take my time and enjoy the baths and the steam room. can’t forget the tea either. for me, a must-do whenever i return to Granada.

The baths were wonderful. Skip the massage - totally NOT worth it. Jumping between the hot and the cold bath was very therapeutic and the steam room was fantastic. The place was beautiful and clean. I would give the baths 5 stars but this is getting downgraded because of the massage. We were looking forward to a 45-min massage (we booked for two people). This was NOT a massage. It was just someone basically rubbing oil on you for 45 min. Zero pressure despite requesting for more. And no understanding of muscles/anatomy. Also, they leave you on the table in your wet bathing suit … meh. I wasted 45 minutes of my time when I could have been in the baths. Very frustrating.

A beautiful facility, clean, and well organized. Staff was friendly and well trained. We got a soak, scrub and massage. Would have loved a bit more time afterwards to meditate and enjoy the benefits, but you’re pretty well shown the door when your treatment is over. Still, it was a great experience and I highly recommend

If you’ve ever had an authentic hammam experience, you will immediately realize this place is a tourist trap. Will there be warm water? Yes. Hot water? No. Will there be a massage? Yes. Will it be good? Not at all. Want to be offered water after your massage? Good luck, not going to happen. Want to hangout for an extra 30 minutes after your massage to really relax? Too bad, the lady will kick you out within 7 minutes. If you like handing your money for an oversized bathtub - you’re going to love this place. Bathe wisely my friends.

Totally worth the price, if you liked the architecture at the Alhambra! The hottest pool is the most preserved all the way to the ceiling, but it's not shown well in the photos. Absolutely stunning. Also to counter one review: from a Icelander and Finn, the pools are not too cold, they have a nice gradient and the hottest was probably 38, so you can chill therefor quite a while but not down forever! Also they to go when it's not busy, we had two of the pools just to ourselves twice (Thursday at 14.00). The scrubbing and massage was only okay, if I were to go again I would only do the pools.

We had a lovely time visiting the hammam at the end of our visit to Granada. Inside the baths is very atmospheric, the attendants were lovely, particularly great having seen the Alhambra the day before. Felt very clean and well organised, the timeslots felt about the right length. I had the 45 minute massage, which was great and had enough time to enjoy the pools as well. I suspect that an hour might feel like you don't get quite enough time in the pools. We ended up sitting in a very pleasant waiting area for 10 mins before going into the changing area. Changing area has toilets that you can go back to at any time, but they ask you to wait until you go through to the changing rooms before using them. Great experience, thank you!

Lovely, relaxing visit to these beautiful baths. We went as a couple and had enjoyed the varying temperature baths, delicious tea and calming atmosphere. The staff were helpful and attentive and the massage just right. Changing rooms were small but clean and with nice products to use. Only criticism is that it would be nice to have a waiting space after the experience as, when you go as a couple or with a group of friends, it is inevitable that you'll be changed etc at different times.y poor partner had to wait outside in the rain!

  • 3/5 Anthony C. 1 year ago on Google
It was okay. As the others have said before the interior decor was good and the tea they gave was good. However, this feels like a tourist gimmick, as the bath water was not hot enough and the pools were very small.

  • 4/5 Irene R. 1 year ago on Google
It's a super nice place architecturally. The whole bath ritual is super relaxing and enjoyable. The reason I don't give them 5 stars is because the changing room is too small for the amount of people they admit each turn and the massage area is too bright and not very private. I could not fully enjoy the massage because of the light and because people kept walking by. Overall is a very nice place and will definitely come back because the baths are excellent but they could work on those things to make it an amazing experience.

My wife and I had a massage a few days ago and we were extremely disappointed. We went there at a recommendation of a guide we had in Seville. The baths sounded unique and after several days of touring a deep tissue massage sounded appealing. Signing up on line we felt lucky that there were two deep tissue slots left. After a couple of minutes on the table being very gently rubbed I asked the masseuse to provide deep pressure. She looked at me quizzically and very light pressure was used during the entire time. I’ve had hundreds of massages but none as poor as this. I was getting a inferior quality relaxing message not the deep tissue I wanted and paid for! As we were leaving we told the front desk and the lady agreed that my wife and I had gotten the wrong massage and said she would tell management. I also wrote management the following day. They have never contacted us. Not only was this the worst massage I had ever received, the whole process was unsatisfying.
