Looks like a 3 star hotel. Overpriced. When you come inside you see everywhere extremely dirty old carpets. Everything inside looks sad. Staff try their best. But the hotel really needs of renovation. By the way a beach is very nice like everywhere in Portugal close to the sea side. And outside territory is also nice.

More like a 2 or 3 stars hotel. The room is old and is very worn down. Service is in most cases non existent. And when it’s there, you must pay (e.g. 8 euros for any room service order-even if it’s a coffee!) The pool is average and there is no service there either… Finally, we stayed in Building 1 which has a bar downstairs that plays (LOUD) music till midnight making it impossible to sleep before that. I would highly NOT recommend staying there. AVOID.

My daughter stayed in the hotel for the down syndrome world swimming championships just recently. The rooms were fantastic: spacious and clean. The only problem was the restaurant. My daughter is celiac so she has to eat gluten free. The restaurant had a gluten free section with fish, meat and vegetables but unfortunately only rice. We were told that the restaurant did not have gluten free pasta so my daughter had to eat rice everyday. A five star hotel that does not have gluten free pasta???

Great service and good suites. Plenty of room as they were very big. They start looked after is very well, adjusting the room allocation to suit us with two kids (10&12) Only downside was the lack of on-site entertainment, but this could just be at its not full busy season yet

Excellent location and we really enjoyed our stay. I was happy about the service and the kid-friend options at the hotel. There is option of kids club that my son enjoyed. The walkable beaches were excellent. We really enjoyed the buffet option and the ability to order kids menu items a la cart. This was really helpful on the first day when our little one was quite jet lagged and couldn't stay awake. The helpful staff provided options to bring food up to our rooms to feed our little one. We were also quite happy about the EV charger and even having option of using 220v outlet to charge since every other spot has an outlet next to it which provided easy charging options for topping up. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights & the best part about this hotel is that they have a boardwalk which leads to the beach , great for walking, Jogging etc or to watch the sunrise & sunsets. The brekafast spread is amazing & even the food at the jazz bar, they have a lot of options for vegetarians as well. The rooms are decent with a balcony which has a good view, they keep these hazelnut chocolate in the room everyday which is quite tasty! However there are few things we dint like about the hotel during our stay. Firstly, that the check in is at 4 pm which is a very odd time. Secondly, they give only one complimentary bottle of water on the first night & the following nights they don’t, since there are no stores around to buy and keep, it becomes difficult. Thirdly, they don’t provide umbrellas during monsoons, the rooms are in the outdoor area, a 2-3 mins walk from the reception in open space so I think they should give few umbrellas in each room. Location is ok.

Not a 5 star hotel for many reasons : -3 pools with only one pool bar (few options for food, do not serve wine but have cocktails and beer. They have wine space in the fridge but the management cant figure out how to store wine there) - implications: if your room is in block 5/6 it means you have to walk 15m to get a glass of wine from Jazz bar .. - no pool service, means you need to go to the bar to order - waiters are slow and zero attentive( in the pool bar) - no microwave in the pool bar ( if you have kids that means you need to stroll again to the jazz bar near pool 1) - food caravan ? No sense . No vibe. - rooms are big but no details - a la carte restaurant is in the SPA building across the street , one of the hotel event rooms : zero atmosphere , looks like an abandoned restaurant . Food was good but overpriced Good stuff: waiters at breakfast and buffet dinner are fun and attentive Breakfast is complete and buffet dinner options , good quality : meat, variety, price - cocktails at the jazz bar are good Overall small details that make your experience worth in a five star hotel/price that are not met compared with other five star options. - receptionists also very professional Run away

This hotel is 5 star luxury, we’re enjoying our final evening after staying a week in a 3 bedroom suite which is spacious, extremely clean, the beds are heaven to sleep on, I can’t fault the room in any way. The pools and grounds are beautiful, there are 6 of us and we’ve had no issues getting sun loungers at any time of the day, there are so many pools and they don’t get crowded, it’s so peaceful here. The beach is the best beach we visited in the area, you can walk along the beach to restaurants and shops in both directions, it’s perfectly placed and again the area on the beach near the hotel was never crowded. Breakfast was a treat every morning with masses of choice, the staff are lovely, the location is perfect, you can easily get taxis to busier areas but then escape back to the luxury of the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing, family friendly and luxurious holiday.

This hotel is way far from 5star hotel. We are wondering how it has 5 stars and it is more like the normal appointment hotel. There were too many disappointing points to write here. We extended one more night here after other 5 star hotel. No any point, service , restaurant, room, reception was good. The garden and ocean view was good from our junior suite room. If this was just 3star hotel, we might feel ok. Even put the price higher, should be better as 5 stars.

Wonderful resort. The food and drinks are expensive but the setting is remarkable and the beaches are impeccable.

Not a 5 star as described. After trying 5 star hotels this one is a moderate 3. Cleanning ladies only showed up at 16.55pm. Mattress was awful and left me with back pain for days. Staff was friendly and food okish. Pool could have waiters serving guests to make it a better overall experience. At the end its over priced and dont think I will come back.

Great kids club, Diogo is a credit to the hotel. Hotel itself is lovely, staff very good and it has a great breakfast. Dinner in the evenings could do with improvements. Superb location and very well maintained.

A.though I never stayed here, dropped at the wrong hotel. The staff was excellent and took us to the palm village, saving us a taxi drive at the end of a long day. I would like to thank your staff and please pass on our gratitude. These people are a credit to you.

This hotel was by far the worst I've ever stayed in, and it completely ruined my holiday experience. Despite having a spacious suite, the layout was extremely unreasonable. A large portion of the room was wasted space, while the toilet area was unbearably small. The shower enclosure could barely fit two people, and the door failed to prevent water from escaping, resulting in a flooded floor outside. To make matters worse, the slippers provided were not only non-slip but made the floor even more slippery. I had a nasty fall as soon as I stepped into the bathroom, resulting in soaked clothes, a sore bottom, and a scraped hand from hitting the doorknob. If it weren't for my boyfriend grabbing hold of me, I shudder to think what could have happened if my head collided with the sink. The washbasin area was ridiculously tiny, barely leaving any space once a few cosmetic items were placed on it. Furthermore, the basin's drainage was slow. The toilet being positioned right next to the sink made it feel like bacteria could easily spread throughout the bathroom with a single flush. The quality of the paper towels was poor, and the provided shampoo and conditioner were unpleasant to use. As for the bedroom, I couldn't believe that in a supposed 5-star hotel, the twin beds were just two single beds pushed together. This caused us to get stuck in the gap between the beds during the night. Furthermore, the duvet was as thin as a sheet, and the mattress lacked the necessary softness and flexibility for a comfortable sleep. Overall, the sleeping experience was subpar. To top it all off, I am filled with anger because I missed the abysmal breakfast buffet's operating hours. I just wanted to have a good sleep and I woke up at almost 10:30am and couldn't get the breakfast in the hotel. It is beyond my comprehension why the hotel would only offer breakfast until 10:30 am. In my experience, most hotels of this caliber have breakfast service until at least 11 am, considering that guests may want to sleep in and still enjoy a meal. It feels incredibly impersonal and inconsiderate to force customers to wake up before 10 am or risk missing breakfast. I paid nearly 400 pounds for a 3-night stay at this hotel, which is situated in the middle of nowhere with unattractive decor and subpar facilities. The service provided was devastating, and I deeply regret booking this hotel. To those reading this review, I advice that if you don't want to waste a significant amount of money and ruin your mood, please avoid this disgraceful establishment that dares to call itself a 5-star hotel. It is nothing short of a scam.

Generally nice hotel, but not 5 stars worth. Mediocre service, mediocre coffee at the breakfast. The fridge at our room was not working. Toothbrush glasses were obviously replaced by paper cups due to the pandemic, which I will never understand in times of dishwashers. That all is not really bad but also definetly not 5 stars. If they run out of coke zero at the pool bar, the staff is obviously unwilling to get it from another bar within the hotel. Very family friendly, which of course comes with a high noise level.

Cannot fault anything about our stay (so far). The suite is superb, with stunning views out over the gardens onto the Atlantic. The location is perfect, handy for supermarkets and golf. Two minute walk and you're on a stunning beach. The food, especially the evening buffet is exceptional, so much choice and different every night. The best thing overall has to be the staff, they have been incredible. So welcoming, extremely helpful, friendly and very good fun. A special mention has to go to the two Marianna's in the Jazz Bar. They have been gone above and beyond to help us and have been great fun. Both have been absolutely superb. We still have a few days left, but around ready planning to return next year.

Great location and service. Facilities are very well maintained, in particular the pools area and access to the beach. Private underground parking is enough for all guests. Decent offer of meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I stayed in the smaller rooms, which have a large bathroom and shower, but lack space for clothes (hangers or drawers). Regardless of that, rooms do not disappoint and those with a sea/pool view are really worth. Definitely worth considering for a stay in Algarve.

A tropical paradise in the southernmost region of Portugal. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this wonderful retreat will not disappoint. Where do I start? The clear blue waters, the sun-kissed beaches, the breathtaking views from the suites, the friendly and smiling staff? This hidden treasure in Albufeira is a heaven on earth surrounded throughout by an array of beautiful palm trees. The suite rooms are massive, the interior decor really impressive, the facilities available are the icing on the cake. Everything from the staff to the buffet was just amazing. Top notch customer service, very friendly and welcoming people, lovely place to stay. I can't but only recommend this paradise to whoever wants to have a memorable holiday experience. I would love to return in the future. It was the best holiday of my life. Luxury hotels can't get any better than this! Well deserved five stars!
