A nice small apartment building at the very edge of the village of Olhos D'agua. Very clean rooms with air conditioning which is a bonus. Directly in front of the very steep steps down to Maria Louisa compact beach, with no hand rails so totally unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Block is quite a long walk up and down hills to supermarkets and restaurants. Very poor breakfast offering. Staff are efficient but a smile would not go amiss.

Small and friendly...just a short walk to the beach. The restaurant however, is never open so you have to buy in breakfast or eat out. Apartments are spacious, appliances are old and difficult to fathom. Nice, small pool area. Apartments pretty basic, nice area for walkers.

Very nice hotel right next to the beach, staff are attentive and cleaning staff are always friendly. Bar downstairs is very cheap as well as a pool table, tables, and a reading corner with TVs. Rooms are tidy and cleaned every day. The pool sometimes gets a little loud but nothing you can't handle. Open the windows for a nice breeze and the air conditioning on summer 30 is the coldest

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, the rooms are very out dated and the beds are so hard i could barely walk due to hip and back pain afterwards. We scheduled with the lady during check in to have breakfast the next morning but she didn’t do her job so the next morning I went for breakfast and we were denied cereal cause we didn’t “give a day heads up” even though we did. This hotel is very stingy and inhospitable. My husband got yelled at for using a tea bag…a damn tea bag…she legit freaked out and called her supervisor 🥴and the Wi-Fi is garbage. Worst part being the staff though, just the most unfriendly in all the hotels I’ve ever stayed and the last 1.5 I’ve been to 20 countries so it’s been ALOT of hotels. But great location 🙂

Just spent a week here, and it was a lovely apartment. It looks like it had a refit very modern. I would stay again a couple of things for me that need addressing to improve the stay air con is rubbish and the pool is cold could do with being heated, and I think it would be nice for a welcome pack ie coffee ,tea,milk our flight got in very late but it looks like most flights from UK do and the shops here close at 9pm so no chance of getting anything till the morning.

Distance a problem to local amenities. Pool area is nice on appearance but most sunloungers are filthy and past their best. No Outlook. Choice of alcoholic drinks at the bar is very poor. The apartments are very run down and could do to be upgraded. Would not recommend.

Stayed here back in September. Was a bit worried after reading the reviews but our room (39) was really nice. Clean comfy beds and quite. Beautiful beach on the doorstep. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, down the road there is one of the e beaches you will find in Portugal, the pool is great and there is a fresh water shower right next to it. The only thing was the wifi is a bit slow and laggy and the rooms air-con didn’t work for me

Lovely location. Rooms nice and we'll equipped. Unfortunately it is very quiet in November, the bar is more or less out of everything (no beer, wine etc when we arrived) Breakfast is €8.50 for continental breakfast which has to be ordered the day before (much cheaper to go out to a cafe) as the restaurant is closed. Staff very friendly. I expect I'd rate it higher during the holiday season

Staff attentive and helpful. Very quiet resort. Main supermarket 15 minute walk away uphill. Hard going with kids under 4. If you can get a taxi or you have a hire car use it! Beach just below the hotel perfect. Quiet. Full of beautiful sand. Couldn't ask more from a quiet holiday!

If you have mobility problems it is not an ideal location as it is at the bottom of a long sloping road and the nearest mini market is 300 yards away and the nearest eatery is even farther

Hotel was beautiful, up to date and modern.. very clean and fabulous service. Only thing I would say was the rooms were dated. Location was perfect. Local shops, and restaurants also very close to the beach.

Lovely refurbished room with great views front and back. Location was perfect for us ... not too isolated but not too near the main hustle and bustle

Good location within walking distance to shops and restaurants, especially beach. Staff was NOT friendly at all! Furniture on upstairs floor extremely dated. Shower head broken and bodywash containers empty. Breakfast not available regularly. Bottom floor rooms more updated, but if you are located by car park, it is noisy, especially with workers coming and going. Pool was clean and very nice.

Beds are ok. Could be more comfortable. Sofa bed was more comfortable than beds in the bedrooms. Air conditioning didn't cool enough. Other than that it is a great hotel and right by the beach
