This is a beautiful trail right on the Rio Grande in Albuquerque. It's great for bikes too!

There is SO much to see in this hidden gem of Albuquerque! Cool, shady, quiet, and educational.

I enjoyed walking my chihuahua along the Rio Grande but the last time we went it looks like it overflowed and muddy on the trail so we didn't really get to walk but it was nice and cool.

Miles of walking or running trails that thread through and overlap with bike trail. Well maintained Several places where unhoused individuals struggle for shelter and sleep. To be expected as this is an issue throughout the city. Still safe and beautiful for walks and picnics.

Nice trails for running, biking or walking the dogs. You're also able to swim or raft in the river during the warm months, if you're brave enough - river water. Eek.

An absolute gem right here in the middle of Albuquerque. Both paved and unpaved bike and walking paths galore. Plenty of flora and fauna, and an amazing sandy beach on the river. Mysterious winding paths and cool shade in the summer. A lifesaver! My dogs love it!
