Delicious lunch! I felt as though I was indulging in some of the world’s best delicacies. I love sweets so the carrot pudding and gulag jamun were especially my favorite. Oh, I had seconds!! I almost forgot to mention the garlic naan and butter chicken 👌👌👌

Such a wonderful place. I have been going here for years. The food is amazing. I often enjoy the lunch buffet and will be introducing another friend tomorrow for lunch. The ownership and the staff are impeccable as well. I feel like a pert of the family when I am there. A must visit for those lovers of the food and culture. 🙌💯

The owner is sketchy. Went in to pick up an order for someone else. The owner grabbed my are and told me to get some food. He was adamant like it was for free. I wasn't even hungry. So I grabbed a small amount of food and on my way out he said "I need to charge you"....VERY deceitful! Very weird as well....

We visited with a large group this past Saturday. I made reservations for after our wedding ceremony in Rio Rancho, but we ended up being very late. The gentleman I spoke with was so professional, welcoming and gracious. The food was amazing. Thank you for having us, we wish you many years of success!

This place is absolutely amazing. I can not say enough. We can in about an hour before closing and they were so attentive and nice. The food was delicious and fresh, and everything was just incredible. The desserts were warm and just the right about of sweet.

We love this place. My husband and I go there regularly with our two kids. Their food is some of the best Indian food in town. Highly recommend. We especially love that it's buffet all day long.

Has been a favorite buffet of ours a while. All the years we lived in Albuquerque. Recently noticed a couple odd things: 1. One of my favorite parts of the experience was the music videos from India. Tv was on nature channel or something. Far less interesting than music videos from India. 2. If you can’t be there in the first hour the buffet is open, it may not be worth going. We called to check hours one night, were told buffet till 8:30 pm. We arrived around 7:15-7:20pm. By 7:30pm, there were just 2 of us left in the restaurant. So the staff told us to make sure we got everything we wanted so they could pack up the buffet. So our second visit to the buffet line was our last, and we had the pleasure of learning how to clear and clean a buffet line step by step as the staff quick clanged the metal pans still full of food from the line. We will only visit this buffet again if we can arrive near opening. Not worth it when it can be packed up before you’ve barely had a chance to get comfortable. No discount or additional apology was offered for the inconvenience. Therefore I believe this was intentional to cut our meal short. I’ll be back, at least once. I’ll walk there to make sure I have maximum appetite. Won’t leave till I vomit on the buffet. Thanks, Taj!

Very consistent. The butter chicken is one of my favorites as well as the potato samosas. I always eat a lot of the vegetarian options even though I’m fine eating meat because they taste really good. My son is a big fan of the garlic naan. Nice selection of chutneys too. I always like a little mango custard or rice pudding for dessert.

Delicious buffet filled with fresh home cooked traditional Indian dishes. Plenty of Vegan options as well as meat dishes. Also plenty of savory sauces and deserts. Fast, friendly service.

Quick launch, good quality buffet food. I was lucky to get unsweetened masala tea here. Love the place.

There is a buffet and I was able to try a variety of new flavors and foods. The food was spicy for the inexperienced and on par to a spice enthusiast. The restaurant is dated and join them for dine-in away from the buffet carousels or you'll have a sauna experience.

The food was probably the worst Indian food I’ve ever had. This place took the bar to a whole new low. I was their last customer because I had just gotten into Albuquerque. At got to their restaurant at 0945( restaurant closes at 10pm). They took advantage of that and charged me 2 extra dollar for each item. When confronted, they said the menus are outdated…… I should’ve just gone to McDonald or something. Avoid this place.

Delicious Indian buffet. My favorite is the tandoori chicken, and a close second is the chicken masala. The servers brought fresh naan to our table. Buffet is a little expensive, especially when you add a mango lassi. But worth it.

Best quality and value Indian food we’ve found in Albuquerque. The assorted of curries, tandoori chicken, and sometimes even spiced fried fish, is all soo good. One of the best dinner buffets I’ve had, of any cuisine. All while feeling far more healthy and comfort food like than the more prevalent Chinese buffet style restaurants. Easy to feed 3 people for the price of feeding 2 anywhere else. Vegetable and meat curry options are clearly divided in separate areas, not the belt Naan, but Garlic Naan and potato samosas as well. They’ve even started a punch card program, so 11 individual buffets paid for (3 people for buffet in 1 visit = 3 holes punched) and your 12 buffet meal is free. So much better than ordering delivery/takeout, and I’m the type that generally prefers eating at home. Thank you, Taaj Palace, for a consistently rewarding flavorful indulgent nutritious experience.

Nice buffet with both veggie and meat dishes. They play Bollywood videos which help set the mood for eating Indian food. I would say the taste has declined a bit since I last visited a few months back and.the temperature of the food from the buffet was like warm versus warm. I would go back.
