Been twice and both times had terrible service. This time we were the only people in the restaurant and they got our order wrong, not a big deal to us but we asked if they could change it. The manager comes by and says “Well that’s one way to try our whole menu” to which I was shocked but responded “No we’re happy to pay for this plate but we just really wanted to make sure we were getting the other item as we really wanted to try it.” His response was to say they were obviously going to comp it because it was clearly their mistake. The entire staff then proceeded to ignore our table once they brought our food and we sat for 25 minutes without a single person checking on us, no plates were cleared, no waters filled, no one asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Meanwhile other tables that had been seated were checked on several times and at one point the manager went to every single table to ask how their food and drinks were and then specifically skipped our table. I’ve never been treated that way. We have money but we definitely won’t be spending it here anymore. The drinks and food itself were fine but there’s better fine dining in the city with far better service.

A Hidden Gem indeed! Recently opened Gather at Nob Hill wowed me on my first visit. After chatting with co-owner Dustin and sampling a couple of his preferred wines (don't miss the Vinho Verde), I settled on a proper Negroni that was lighter than expected: I think it was owing to the gin that was used (which has now sadly escaped my memory). I started with the Baked Potato, which had me slightly confused as it is described as a confit - didn't get a chance to ask Chef Joe about that before I left (update: my fault on being confused about this preparation - Googled it for clarification) . However, the tender, creamy cylinders of Yukon Gold were cored out to allow the sharp and tangy Cheddar Foam to bathe all its surfaces - Molecular Gastronomy without all the fussiness and pretension. Next came the Chicken Croquettes: a mini Mountain of perfectly crispy spheres, with a snowy cap of finally microplaned parmesan, that yielded a creamy, spicy center full of shredded chicken. Just yummy. For dessert, I recommend you use your fingers to enjoy the Matcha Cake, as it is a tactile playground: spongy air cake, crunchy almond brittle, silken lemon curd, and somehow crispy white chocolate morsels. I'm not great with the descriptors of ambience, but I can tell you that I was comfortable eating alone at the bar and the staff was personable, professional, and knowledgeable . . . On a variety of subjects including those outside the restaurant venue - thanks for the helpful tips, Kelsi ! I've already decided on the lineup of small plates that I'll try at my next visit, and it will be sooner than later.

My husband and I came only for a cocktail and to get a feeling for this new space. We did not eat anything, but menu photos included for review! We admittedly love cocktails and dabble with homemade craft cocktails-with this in mind, Gather is a place we have been craving for. Smaller and more low key than happy accidents. Though we came for the cocktails, the wine list is extensive. The vibe is just right, calm and classy - great date spot or a drink and catch up w a friend. We can't wait to return!

This was some of the best food I have found in Albuquerque. Prices were very reasonable and the service was 110%. If you haven’t been I would highly recommend, this is for sure the best new restaurant in Nob Hill, honestly it is probably the best restaurant in general. The ceviche was lovely, their cocktails are on point. I can not wait to go back and try more menu items!

don’t let the prices scare you — this is some high quality food! every dish was very good, with complex and innovative flavors. I had their halibut for their rotating fish meal, and speaking as a New England-er, it was amazing. they have raw oysters and fresh fish flown in every week, and to taste quality seafood again was such a delight. can’t wait to go back!

I was visiting last Saturday and OMG Austin made my night! I wasn't sure what to order so he made me his speciality...The Whiskey Sour. It was classy and amazing! I will be back...Thank you Austin!

Wow. We weren’t sure what to expect based on the photos. The menu sounded good but slightly pricey, so with the photos and that combined we were hesitant. I am not kidding when I tell you this was some of the best service, best drinks, and best food I have had in a very long time, if ever. The duck fat fingerling potatoes were buttery, salty, and rich. Just perfection. Very slightly crisped on the outside and smooth and creamy on the inside. The house made garlic aioli was the best I have ever tasted. The frog legs were very good and very well presented. I had never had frog before, so nothing to compare them to, and I have to say I had a bit of a mental block since I love frogs a lot. But I wanted to try them and I’m glad I did, they were delicious! The sauce and blue cheese complimented them well. Lastly, the bone marrow. I love bone marrow and always eat the end of my chicken bones to get to the marrow. My dad used to buy marrow bones. I’ve wanted to try it from a restaurant for a really long time, but nobody ever wanted to try it with me. Finally I got to have it and it was 10x better than I ever could have imagined. It really brought me back to when my dad used to make it for me. A huge nostalgic boost, and to help alleviate how much I miss my dad since he passed away a little over a year ago. My compliments to the chef, my sincere thanks to the servers who were wonderful and welcoming. Loved this place, would recommend it to anyone and would 100% come back.

The staff was very polite and the atmosphere was inviting. I was admittedly intimidated by the menu due to the high end ingredients and offerings that aren't seen in most places in the area. Still I wa happy with my selections. The cocktails were complex and delicious.

Lol One star for $16 for a poorly made dirty martini with new Amsterdam vodka lol they’re using cheap liquor for top shelf unless they were being shady. 🤔 For $16 u can get a thoughtfully made drink with quality ingredients at artichoke ($15)

Really enjoyed our meal. Five stars on everything except the misting in the patio, it felt unnecessary in the evening but I'm sure was nice earlier in the day.

I LOVE GATHER!! I haven’t been since it opened, I came last Saturday and I loved it!! The bartender Austin suggested a whiskey sour and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! I was planning on having a drink and leaving but Austin was so fun and sweet to be around i didn’t want to leave!! He brings such a great energy to the bar, he is definitely the reason I will be coming back. I wasn’t planning on coming back soon but after this experience i definitely have to! If you come ask for Austin!! All of the staff was amazing but Austin made it an unforgettable experience. He is an amazing bartender!

I first came here with my sister and we had a great time! I love Gather’s aesthetic, but the best part of the experience was Austin – one of the bartenders. :)) He’s so nice and fun to talk to! We ordered a few of the signature cocktails (which were delicious btw!) but we also wanted to try something different so he surprised us with some of his cocktail creations based on what we like :) Definitely an enjoyable time…Oh! And last but not least, the food is delicious too!

Austin was the bartender. He had lots of knowledge of the bar and making Cocktails . He recommended an Old fashion and it was delicious!. Felt welcomed and i didn't feel dumb about trying to figure out a drink to order. Austin did a great job making it a great experience.

One of my favorite places for craft cocktails. The atmosphere is perfect, classy, modern. The staff are like family, simply the best. We love everything about Gather.
