Just go here already. This is actually the same spot as the downtown location of the Acre, to any old fans of that establishment. It was a complete joy to see that beautiful space taken over by our previous favorite vegan chefs, who had moved to Austin but have now returned with even more amazing vegan food to fill our bellies. I had the rosemary biscuits and gravy with potatoes. He had the Berry chantilly waffle and a coffee. Preschooler had two orders of a pancake side. Everything was soooo good and all of us were happy. The donuts were sold out by the time we arrived at noon on Sunday/mother’s day, so just keep that in mind.

Albuquerque has been in a drought for good donuts for as long as I can remember, but no more! I am normally a die-hard cake donut lover, but Knead has converted me on yeasted donuts. My favorite so far is the pink almond glaze, but even the simple vanilla glaze is incredible. You can tell the team is dedicated to their craft and has thought through every detail from flavor to presentation on the brunch menu. My husband and I traded bites on the Ranchero waffle and the rosemary biscuits and I honestly can't pick a favorite, and look forward to eating my way through the rest of the menu. We will definitely be regulars!

So freaking delicious! Without a doubt one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a lot. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a place in Albuquerque after flying in for a trip. Dont miss if you're in the area and looking for some amazing food and a nice ambiance too.

Amazing vegan bakery and brunch spot! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy as well as the rancheros waffle. Love the amount of veggies in the savory entrees. Pastries are creative and delicious.

Impressive! We're not vegan but we all loved our meals. The pancakes and waffles are free of egg and dairy but we couldn't tell the difference. Very vegetable forward.

Guys… $60 for 14 donuts. We were willing to pay it (and excited to do so)because they look amazing, but the grease is unreal! I wish I could upload the video of my daughter squeezing the literal puddle of grease out of just a bite sized piece of vanilla brioche… none of us have finished even one full donut and we feel grease-logged. Maybe their oil isn’t hot enough? Not drained well enough? Gosh I’m gonna miss Rebel.

The atmosphere and service is amazing! One of the best brunch places in Albuquerque. And it’s all vegan which is quite special. I got the katsu curry and my wife got pumpkin bread toast. The food was great. The pumpkin bread was super delicious and SO RICH! It’s great but couldn’t finish it because it was so rich. The curry was great. And the mushroom katsu was a new twist to Japanese katsu. It was lacking a little salt in the breading but man great place for brunch.

I’m not even vegan, I just like good food. And this food is delicious. Excellent presentation and friendly service, too. Clean, comfortable dining space, and they have some high chairs and boosters if you want to bring along your littles ;)

Required eating! Vegan oasis on Gold Street downtown Albuquerque. Wonderful atmosphere great staff and all the food is plant-based. While the go-to dish is the rancheros, I personally love the biscuits and gravy and my kids go crazy for the cherry flambé, and Cajun lion mane. But it doesn’t stop there. The baked goods are incredible so make sure you do some cardio in the morning to burn off the calories.

First visit to Knead, where Gold Street Cafe used to be, across from Tantra Hookah Bar & Lounge. Go early if you want bakery items, but if sold out, they still have a great breakfast, brunch & lunch menu. We had the lemon pistachio pancakes and berry Belgian waffle. 🇧🇪 Very friendly staff, great entree presentation, bottle water on tables, but very small glasses. Ice available upon request. Looking forward to my next visit to try the bakery goods.

The food was DELICIOUS. I have had vegan Eggs Benedict before, but never with an imitation yolk. They also have amazing vegan yeast donuts (I have had many vegan donuts but they were all cake donuts, so this was a treat). If you are vegan and visiting albuquerque, you have to try.

Fantastic new spot downtown. The doughnuts might not match the love Mom put in to old fashioned homemade doughnuts but the flavors go a step beyond. Sorry Mom! Had a latte and a cinnamon doughnut. Got a couple garlic and herb rolls to take home for dinner. Place is super nice, comfortable and conversational. Seeing a couple of breakfasts going by I am already planning a return!

Knead!, Located downtown. The owners and employees are so friendly. There food is so delicious I’ve tried a few things on the menu and loved them all especially there fresh daily made donuts they are the best who know a vegan donut could be so delicious I even take some home. They use quality ingredients. I work in the neighborhood and I will be coming back routinely. Support local businesses build a community, and say no to corporate business.

These might be the best bagels and donuts I've had in Albuquerque 🤤 Highly recommend. I went in when they we're doing the two for one. I tried the sesame and garlic parm bagel which was amazing. They also made their own in-house cream cheese! I had the morning bun and the funfetti donuts. Yum. The funfetti had a buttercream filling that was so delicious. They should consider doing a two for one happy hour. 😀 I'll be back to try the coffee and the entrées .

Their customer service is everything you want when dining. They were personable, warm, informative, and made you feel at home. We ordered some of their popular dishes. Their pancakes and French toast were a tad too sweet, and we even removed the whip cream upon ordering in hopes to tame some of the sweetness. My son kept calling the French Toast dessert. Their coffee and golden milk tea were delicious. Overall, the food was good, just really sweet. But if you're looking for vegan sweets, this is the place!

Delicious! I ordered the Picnic Bowl. It has great flavor and a lil kick of spice! The pickled carrots were whole carrots, so be prepared they need to be chewed. I also got two pastries, one sweet, one savory. If you're looking for plant based, vegan options this is it. The kitchen closes before the restaurant closes so don't come too close to the closing time. Street parking with meters or a paid parking lot next door.

Wow, food is stellar. We had the Rosemary Biscuits N Gravy + Rancheros. And one of their awesome donuts. We'll be going back soon.

Ohhh sooooo delicious and I am not vegan! Got the lion’s mane dish because it included some of my favorites wrapped in one! Ohh my the local recommendation DID NOT disappoint. Great customer service and was on point with the recommendation based on what I described I was looking for .. warm, savory, seasoned well, yet not too spicy for a Non- New Mexican! It’s a MUST stop! It was in walking distance about 5 mins from the Clyde Hotel and convention center! Stop in and ask for Chef Step and Cisco!

Wow! Spectacular!! my boyfriend would eat a dog probably if you give it to him and said this was the best biscuits and gravy ever had in his entire life. We also tried the lions mane, something which was similar to an eggs Benedict. And the rancheros really good too. I had the spice turmeric latte. It was incredible. Lots of the flavor! We were not disappointed with anything ! Definitely get the biscuits and gravy!!!
