    We went to eat last night and spent 22$ and could hardly eat our food it was so over cooked. Took a hush puppy and broke it in my hands and there was no bread in it. I didn’t tell them because they were not pay attention to their customers. Worst service I have ever had at a Long John’s.

    Shrimp was mostly breading, clams were much better. My order was to go but did not get my slaw. Staff was only two people but they were working hard. The building is old and mostly clean except for the air vent right above where you order and pickup your food.

    Was odd to see sign advertising for help as I was only car in lot and customer in store. Employees sitting at empty tables as I opened door but promptly arose to wait on me. Gentlemen at register quite nice and took time to review the menu with me. That was quite refreshing as it had been a long time since I had been here. He asked my preferences and made suggestions based on my responses not some pre programmed response he had been told to say. Could hear employees conversing and preparing online orders as I was getting my drink and preparing to leave. Expensive like everything else these days but will be back.

    What happened to the light & yellowish batter on my chicken? What I got was dark and thin & greasy. Very disappointed! Is this the new batter or just a one-off bad meal?

    We ordered two fish pieces and chips. Food was hot but very greasy. Oil needed changing. Most dinning area was closed off. Bathroom was very dirty.

    The place is awful and needs a renovation or a good cleaning! The staff have NO time for upkeep, they are so flooded with customers and not enough staff. Just as mentioned over a MONTH ago, look at the vent above where ALL food passes! GROSS! Customer service is top notch and overworked.

    Too much batter and the floor had trash on it. And no one Said hello or welcome to ljs or thank you for coming. It's hurry and place your order so you can leave. Plus one table is for the cleaning crew should be for guests to sit at. Plus at the condiment bar there was trash on the floor. Not a good and welcome atmosphere for guests. Plus the corn had batter crumbs in it. That's cross- contaminated food. not good..

    The fish and chips have gone way down hill in the last couple years. The fish is a thin, frozen and breaded product that looks and tastes like cheap fish sticks. Too bad. Used to be a good place for fish. Definitely off my list. .
