Today, I had my haircut and it was the most devastating moment ever! I will never go outside for two weeks! That guy in 933 San Mateo had done the most terrible job!!!!! I asked him to copy the haircut (1st photo) I had before for reference. But look at what he had done to my hair!!! (2nd and 3rd) I usually gave$5-$10 tip, but this time no. I shouldn’t have paid!!! Terrible!

First I want to start by prefacing that my normal haircuts cost at least $100. I now live out of state but was back visiting my family. I really needed a haircut as my long hair was damaged at the ends. My mom recommended this place as she has had numerous successful haircuts here. I decided to give it a chance since all I wanted was a simple cut straight across with no layering. The gentleman who cut my hair did an excellent job. He listened to the length I was wanting and didn’t cut extra. He took the time and made sure it was straight and even. He even trimmed my face framing layers perfectly which I am quite meticulous about. It was my first wonderful experience at a place like this.Thank you so much for a great haircut.

I'm being generous with two stars. Been here with multiple people. In the past they've been decent but today we went in. No one was there so we checked in. The lady who checked us in took my friend with long hair right away. He told her he wanted it short, all the long hair gone, cut, short. English was her second language but she didn't understand ANYTHING of these terms and kept asking if he wanted to keep it long after being told no. She said she didn't understand and that he would have to wait for a different stylist. So he was told to go back and sit down. After waiting several minutes two other people were taken back by other stylists despite them both being walk ins who by their admissions didn't check in online and in spite of his name being next on the board. So we just left. Won't be back.

Went in yesterday to get a very minimal trim. Got the worst haircut of my life. Went in with shoulder length angled bob. I was very specific and asked for just a little off the back and to leave the front alone - but the stylist ( a guy, I think his name is Colin or Calvin or something like that) hacked off just about everything. The stylist kept telling me to look down, so it was a little while before I noticed that he had cut off far more than I had asked and layered the back which I had expressly asked him not to do. The Supervisor tried to come fix it., but the job he did was so uneven that they had to take off many inches, taking me years back in my growth journey … Recovering after a bad haircut, I got at a different location of great clips about a year ago . I guess I’ve learned my lesson and one everyone else to know the risks are getting your haircut at this place by this man. I guess I’ll be wearing hats for the foreseeable future 😢

I enjoy this location. Every stylist that I've had has been very friendly. Parking can be limited compared to other locations. A few years ago a stylist gave me a discount because my haircut is basically a trim. I appreciated that. While that's only happened once, I've never regretted coming in since.

First time customer and I was very impressed! This location is well maintained, clean, and well staffed. George cut my hair perfectly. Exactly what I asked for. My bangs look amazing, and my hair feels fantastic. He was professional, personable, kind, and funny. The check in process on the app is is quick and easy. I’ll be going to see George in the future!

This is the best Great Clips I’ve been to, which really means they have the best staff. I used to only go to expensive salons because more affordable places would often give me a awful haircut, but this place really does a great job. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great looking cut at a super reasonable price!
