Nastiest place I’ve ever lived by far. Expect mold, rust, dirt, hair, etc all over the apartment. Audrina the property manager needs to be replaced. She does not keep her word and will lie to your face despite having documentation or proof regarding issues. Nobody wants to take accountability for anything. Had to make multiple work orders to take care of basic things that should have been taken care of before move in. Nothing was move in ready and I had to deep clean everything from top to bottom at 9 months pregnant. All I got from Audrina was “our move ins generally go well”. I received 0 sympathy or assurance that this would be looked into and taken care of. I got the feeling that wasn’t the first time they’ve heard that and based off reviews it’s pretty obvious I wasn’t the only one experiencing these types of issues. For $100 more you can go somewhere way nicer and in a safer neighborhood. Or better yet you’re better off getting a room for the month at the motel 6 down the street..at least they’re renovated. Beware potential seekers. You’ll be disappointed as everyone I know of has. Below are move in pictures.

Roaches are still a horrendous problem. Absolutely sickening. They are everywhere and the droppings and eggs they leave are everywhere. They come out if outlets, the stove, fridge, drains, the damn walls. It’s unsanitary and I will be calling the state to report this property as it has many issues regarding health issues. Mold, roaches, moisture damage, unsafe living standards, food safety due to roaches as they are in the fridge as well, and other unsafe tenants. “We offer weekly bug sprays” until you actually ask and it’s “we’ll let you know when they can come by”, and that’s when it’s random, nobodies home, no notification no nothing. Awful place to live and awful management for this disgusting insect problem. Kids live in these buildings. “Wow we are so disappointed about this!” Yet, nothing is ever done. It’s been 3 years and this roach issue? No difference, no proper treatment, no management that actually works to help such disgusting issues.

it was really a decent experience when I moved in last year. it's gone pretty down hill this summer. i think that for what we are getting these apartments are extremely overpriced. i have seen mice (luckily not inside my apartment, but outside), pigeons, and roaches. there is a LOT of crime and police activity, a LOT of domestic disputes. since living here I have had to contact the police three times. they also have a weird thing with the front gate where they email everyone that it's going to be working and then it just doesn't work. the maintenance men are very nice, but they clearly don't have enough people working for the amount of people living here because it is extremely backed up in terms of getting things taken care of. if they do show up, there is no follow up unless you chase them down or contact the office. but the cherry on top for me as of late is the fact that there must be hundreds living here and they have a very limited amount of washers. the laundry room is a WRECK. i mean it's filthy. and it's not that they don't HAVE washers, it's that they have neglected to replace or repair them for weeks now. they have broken glass windows which I think is a hazard, or they are unplugged, or out of order. some will take your money and not work. people are beginning to throw each other's clothes everywhere because they are desperate to wash their clothes. for an apartment complex that will charge you 50+ dollars if they have to move your plants during an inspection, they sure don't care much for rental regulations. also- i am a huge dog lover, but there is a big problem with off leashed dogs here! the worst part of all: why have vending machines if you're going to leave them not working for over a year. they haven't worked since I moved in. I would give one star but honestly the staff have been pretty nice, I honestly think at this point it's the actual rental company. my last apartment being owned by Greystar was also poorly taken care of. i enjoy the apartment layout and the location being near nob hill. that's about it. edit- dropping review to one star. still waiting on several maintenance orders and i have been over exposed to mold living here. i work during the office hours so i emailed asking for contact information or how to get in touch with management, no reply at all.

SCAM!!!! We did a walk through of the model and it seemed nice. We got our quote and applied right away that same day so we can lock in the price. We then got approved a few days later but they had increased the price of the rent on the lease by 8%. We were hesitant to sign the papers right away and read reviews of roaches, mold, car vandalism, etc. So we call to schedule a walk through of the actual unit we'd move into and went in the next day and the lady said she sent us a text that morning saying we couldn't do a walk through, but we never received anything. We were then disinterested and asked if we could get our deposit back because we don't want the apartment anymore, but she said no. Since we don't want to sign the lease, that money pays for the cancelation fee. But if I were to have gotten denied, I would've gotten my money back (Where's the sense in that?). So there goes almost $250 just to apply, without signing any lease. Please take a moment to read all the other reviews for this scammy place and ask to see a sample of their lease before you give them any money. We definitely learned our lesson but consider ourselves lucky we didn't lose as much money as most people who live here.  Will never be renting from Greystar ever! Makes sense they have a lawsuit against them.

So, after being scammed out of 240$ to apply, I had to complain and warn everyone that is thinking of living at this blight on housing that Is greystar and union 505. All I can say is do your homework. After applying and being approved, I was super excited!! I can move and live in this beautiful community!! Not so, instead I was immediately met with a 8% price increase on my original quote of my monthly rent. Which was an immediate turn off, their only excuse? Well they match the market daily on rental prices!! That’s absurd, check around see if any other rental agency is doing that to potential tenants, that alone is false advertising! With no warning at all, they simply decided to tack on $60 extra a month and thought we’d be ok with that. Then the reviews… oh god the reviews. Seriously read them and read them all within the last year, but don’t worry there’s more!! What these reviews fail to mention is the mass shooting that recently occurred here, matched with the fact that they’re being sued by tenants due to their failure to return deposits reasonably on top of overcharging tenants for needless charges regardless of the state of the apartment on move out. And they’ll tack on charges years and months beyond!! Oh and in the lease they get you to sign on they state that basically any reason they feel justified, they’re allowed to boot your car and enter your home as they please. Which they have no problem taking advantage of, and definitely notice how they’re no mention of roaches on the lease, because they won’t help you at all to rid of them. Seriously look at the online presence of greystar and run from them like the plague!! Speak with your wallet and move elsewhere!! -edit. Search greystar lawsuit on google

Disgusting. I wish my roommate and I never moved here. Since move in we've been having issues with bedbugs, mice, roaches, toliet issues, and now mold in the bathroom because of a water leak. (Funny because our move in date was pushed back because they were doing "renovations in the bathroom") Currently working on trying to get get everything fixed but are now going onto 3 weeks of not having a usable kitchen. Aside our own unit having issues the laundry room is bad. Nothing get fixed and the machines only take your money and barely work. Don't move here.

Should be negative stars. ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES !!! I moved in and within one day I realized the unit was INFESTED! And had to leave the next day . I couldn’t even sleep in the unit I moved into . Lady’s up front were sympathetic and gave my me money back so I could leave but as far as cleanliness it was horrible, snot and hand prints were also on wall. Mold in bathroom . It wasn’t even painted . The fridge in unit was infested with roaches , roach eggs and droppings inside the fridge ! Also in ALL CABINETS.. I unplugged the fridge put a sticky roach trap INSIDE and closed the door. The trap caught 3 roaches in the CLOSED REFRIGERATOR OVER A PERIOD OF LESS THAN 24 hours. I wouldn’t recommend living here. Units are VERY over priced for a roach motel. I ALSO TALKED TO NEIGHBORS IN DIFFERENT BUILDING AND THEY SAY THEY HAD ROACHES AS WELL! Do not trust the model show unit that they will show you when viewing!!!

I lived with my friend in the summer time and left for a couple months to an apartment and ended up coming back, about a week ago I applied and NOT ONCE WAS PROOF OF INCOME MENTIONED, so with that said I brought everything I need and was asked of me. They also said they refund a part of the application when the lease is over considering I have a section 8 vulture and haven't refunded me so I haven't been able to take my business else where, they've made it hard for me to be able to move in somewhere as they've taken money I had to fund and raise to be able to text my own first apartment, most people I've talk to at the front dest gave been rude. It almost makes me not want to continue to try for this place.

Union 505 has made me an incredibly angry tenant. 2/10, 1 star Let's talk about why: 1.) My apartment won't get fixed. When I do put in work orders, they're falsely marked as "fixed" on the work order website. A lot of my work orders, like having them properly caulk the cracks in my baseboards, only got half completed. (see pics) I was told I would be contacted when the rest could be completed, and I've still not received that call. It's been over two months. Most of my outlets will not hold the plugs, and spark when things ARE plugged in. I've been shocked SEVERAL times. I have been and was supposed to be on the pest control "List" they have, but I've seen pest control all of FOUR times in 9 months, when I am supposed to see them weekly, on Thursdays. I have roaches crawling in my bed, in the electronics and guts of my fridge and stove, I've even had roaches PUSH MY PLUGS OUT OF THE WALLS when I'm trying to charge my phone! I can barely cook on my 1970's era tiny stove, and when I do, if I don't put a tight lid on my food, roaches fall INTO MY FOOD WHILE I'M STILL COOKING!!! My bathroom bathtub has rust around the drain, which isn't even properly connected to the pipes beneath it, and also they just painted over the rust (see pics!), and now every time I shower, I step on sharp paint chips and cut my feet open. My toilet constantly runs and I've had them try to fix it several times with no luck. The water hose connected to my toilet is also rusted. There are painted over cracks and there is roach poop there, too. 2.) Oh, and speaking of roaches, in the washers the *actually work* on site, I've found live roaches there, too. Less than half (12 out of 26) of the washers and dryers on site are functional. I have called and asked them about it, and was given the excuse they put in the orders, but special people have to come out and fix the washers and dryers. It's been MONTHS of this. The dryers that do work, usually barely work, and require constant cleaning. The drink machines in the laundry room also do not work at all, and have never once been refilled since I've lived here. Also in the laundry room, under the large communal sink, the floor beneath is rotted out, and shoved inside are things like a sleeping bag and blankets (See pictures), which obviously do not belong to the apartment complex, and to some local homeless person. There needs to be better security ON SITE at ALL TIMES. 3.) There is dog poop everywhere you walk, and dog poop BAGS slung up into trees on the property, sometimes with dog poo still IN THEM. There is always standing water, puddles, and slippery mud in walkways on site at all times, due to the sprinkler systems. I am disabled, slipping in those puddles/mud and falling is my worst fear. 4.) It took months for bad neighbors (smoking blues/hoarding/ too many "family guests", I have picture proof) to be evicted, and their child was harassing me the entire time they were evicted, and I had to call security on those people several times. Those people are finally gone, but I still do not have peace of mind. I often hear loud, close-by gunshots nearby, usually WITHIN or just outside of the complex itself. I can call security but nothing actually happens. I will gladly change my review when my apartment is fixed, the laundry room is fixed, site security improves, and I have consistently had pest control to the end of my lease.

I currently am a tenant here. Pros: it's quiet. People leave me alone Rents affordable Theres a laundry room The front desk is open every day. The drama in the parking lot that happens often is better than cable Walmart delivers to my area. And it's close to where I work Cons It's a toss up on how the front office folk will treat you; sometimes they are kind and professional and others (most of my experience) they treat you like you're beneath them The emergency maintenance number that was on the move in packet isn't in service. There's more apartments than the maintenance team seems to be able to handle. (It takes over a month sometimes for my requests to be processed. Which I understand. There are a lot of people in the complex. ) The laundry room is often half broken down. And you have to plan your laundry days carefully. Which is like how a laundromat would.be. so it's to be expected. And I think in the 6 months I've lived here, the front gate has only worked for a week. And lots of bugs, but they do respond quick when you tell them you have pests. So that's both a con and a pro. And the amount of dog doo I've seen in the walk ways is annoying. All in all I do like it here. It has it's problems though. So 3/5 as of now. I may update it with a 5/5 later.on if things improve
