On the Flip is TERRIBLE food and service. I am not sure why they're allowed to stay in this location. They're reviews average a 2.7 before changing their name. Be aware they're now "On the Flip" and just as low quality We ordered fish and asada tacos; the fish clearly wasn't good. It smelled bad, was super fishy, and sour. My suspicion is that they knew it was bad because they salted it so much it made my jaw hurt. The Asada was not asada in any way. It was shredded meat that tasted like canned dogwood with too much pepper. The staff is very unfriendly and has zero customer service skills. One girls barely talks and sits there on her phone while taking your order. When we took the food back to share out experience not one apology, not one attempt to fix it, and nothing to make the experience better. We asked for our money and didn't even get a word from the staff but "its voided " businesses like that will drag Tin Can down. Very terrible experience and food. When they told the cook or manager. He rolled his eyes and wouldn't come out to talk to us. Unbelievable

Employees are clearly doing their best but there's just no getting around whoever provides the recipes either doesn't care or lacks any sort of taste. The chicken was drowned in buffalo wing sauce to the point it was basically inedible. Burgers are painfully dry. On a scale of raw to well done they're somewhere around shoe leather. All the other vendors in Tin Can Alley are good to excellent. Hopefully they get their act together or are replaced. Good golly!

Cool atmosphere. The young men working the counter were okay. One was very honest and nice. The food was not very good. Not At all actually. The food was salty and dry. My child’s chicken strips were burnt. If we go back to Tin Can Ally we will try another vendor.

Ordered the Classic Cheeseburger and added green chili and "gangsta fries" for $3 or so. Total came out to about $15 with tip. Long story short, the food was awful. Fries were a plain cheap frozen product, soggy and floppy. Burger paddy was burnt to a crisp (literally blackened on both sides) and the bun tasted like it was at least a day out of date. Stale and hardly chewable lol. Regret spending the $15, will never order food from here again.

Cashier seemed overwhelmed and flustered. Didn’t make eye contact and ‘what can I get you’ quickly. Iced tea was weak and the water used tasted like bad City water, or maybe tea was old. Burger was good, but over priced. I got the Burqueno burger with fries. Not worth $16.

Well, 530 on a weekday and they're closed. Update: 530 on another weekday and they were open! Yay! Hamburger cooked to leather ☹️. "Gangsta fries" are just plain fries ☹️ (And why are these fries called that?) Buffalo wings unremarkable☹️. In other words, very true to the terrible food you get at a beach shack. Nothing to back for here.

The Burqueño was a really poor burger - way over-cooked and the sauce was nothing special. Fries were just fine. Service was ok but food was so bleh that I wouldn’t go here again. I’m rarely motivated to write a poor review but I’m making an exception here. For burgers and beer, hit Rustic Burger and Santa Fe at Green Jeans, not this place.

flipflops properly fries their tortillas so you can hold the tacos. The steak ones are pretty good, others are okay. Probably one of the better places to eat at Tin Can.
