We randomly walked into one of the best places to eat in New Mexico! The food was so authentic the chimi hit home for me as it was my favorite thing to eat on weekends as a kid, it tasted the same way but even better with the refried smashed beans! I got the machaca and let me you this was the best thing I could’ve ever done today. The red Chile is so flavorful and as a true Nm resident living here 80% of my life this one of the best places for red Chile. The bean and cheese burrito was also a hit! Beans and rice always a great combo. And saving the bets for last, the staff: Maggy our server so sweet, caring as the other lady we didn’t get her name. I saw the nachos ordered & they were huge!!!! Might get them next time but I’m still thinking about that #18 chimi.

Best authentic Mexican food spot 🔥Favorite restaurant in ABQ! Great tasting food and amazing service. From the salsa and chips to the meal I ate today I rate everything a 10/10. Absolute best place we’ve eaten in Albuquerque in the 3 years we have lived here. Originally from Southeast Los Angeles, i have been homesick when it comes to food but today we learned that the owners of Papa Nacho’s are from the same neighborhoods my parents & i grew up in. This meal made me feel like i was back home eating at a family party, i can’t explain the joy it brought me. we won’t be eating Mexican food anywhere else after this!

5 stars my favorite Mexican restaurant the employees are very friendly and welcoming. The food are awesome. We ordered beef cubes tacos and seafood quesadillas. The taco is juicy and flavorful. The quesadilla is a little spicy but it makes seafood amazing.

A small family ran restaurant. Clean, friendly staff, and not sure about the authentic part but they served some great food. Chips were crispy, salsa had a kick but super yummy. We had fish tacos and carne asada taco plate, both dishes are simply scrumptious! Best Mexican food we had in a long time. Can you open a restaurant in Washington?

Best small neighborhood Mexican food restaurant atmosphere. Good, solid, consistent, food with friendly wait staff. Nothing fancy( paper plates and plastic cutlery) but more than decent chili. Very small and quaint so it can be very busy.

Order the shredded beef taco plate with an extra taco. Food was fantastic, 9/10. Would have been a 10 with hot sauce or fried jalapeños. Will be back for lunch again

It may look like a little hole in the wall but it's some good food. Service with a smile, the ladies there are just top. Notch food is excellent, great lunch joint. May not look like a 5 star restaurant but I give them 5 stars straight across-the-board. One happy customer, Loretta P.
