Wow,
what
a
disappointment.
We
each
started
with
an
Aston
Martin
drink,
which
was
a
refreshing
peach
vodka-blueberry
number.
Unfortunately
our
server
didn’t
offer
to
refill
those
once
we
had
finished.
We
shared
a
spinach
and
parmesan
dip,
which
came
with
thick
flash-fried
toasted
pita.
The
pita
was
interesting;
I’ve
eaten
a
lot
of
pita
over
the
years
and
hadn’t
had
it
prepared
that
way
before.
The
dip
was
quite
runny
-
any
more
so
and
it
would
have
been
a
soup.
I
had
the
American
carbonara
and
a
side
of
the
Vintage
potatoes.
The
carbonara
was
fine,
but
I
wouldn’t
get
it
again
as
it
was
completely
unmemorable.
The
vintage
potatoes
come
as
a
single-serving
baked
casserole
that
was
so
cheese-heavy
I
couldn’t
eat
any
more
than
a
bite.
Besides
being
basically
a
block
of
fried
cheese,
the
edges
were
also
burnt.
The
service
could
only
be
described
as
terrible.
Our
server
opened
by
telling
us
the
cost
of
the
oven
(apparently
it
was
$25,000k),
which
we
thought
was
gauche.
We
were
never
asked
if
we
wanted
another
drink,
and
the
service
took
excruciating
long.
After
we
finished,
it
took
over
a
half
hour
until
we
closed
the
check.
For
one
round
of
drinks,
an
appetizer,
and
two
entrees,
it
took
close
to
two
hours.
We
just
had
to
sit
there
and
wait.
And
then
wait
some
more.
Finally,
apparently
something
in
the
expensive
new
oven
caught
on
fire
and
the
restaurant
started
smelling
of
smoke
with
different
tables
commenting
on
it.
Overall,
mediocre
food
with
abysmal
service.
We
won’t
be
back.
It
was
a
huge
disappointment,
and
not
anywhere
close
to
being
able
to
command
the
prices
they
list.
