Large & larger dog parks. Mostly clean 🐕💩. Dogs and owners get along here. Minor note: Transient population are in the area.

There is a water fountain. Go right at the roundabout then past FEILD 4 a bit then left and park at the edge of the base to find the entrance. It has two sides. There are signs but they are terrible.

Love (absolutely)to take the dogs here. Though the fields are NOT really for the pups, mine simply adore to run there. If the sprinklers are on? Oh, boy! Happy dogs!

This park is just beautiful! I am from Texas and was visiting the area during a trip with my dog in October. This park had a fenced in area for dogs to interact and play off leash. There were water fountains and some communal toys. The mix of dogs and people was ok. The day we went there was lots of barking and owners who weren’t entirely watching their dogs or prompt with correcting. This caused us to venture away from the crowd toward the end of the fence line where we found another gate. Upon passing through that gate, that’s when the park became so beautiful. We saw others with their dogs off leash and didn’t see signs stating on leash was required. So we went ahead to the sports field area and found peaceful bliss! A local joined us under a tree and mentioned it is technically on leash in that part and there is a local jogger who gets upset and confronts people about this. We didn’t have any issues and the other handful of owners with their dogs off leash were kind and much more aware of their dogs’ behaviors. It reminded me of Zilker Park in Austin but with mountains! Love this place and would still recommend to anyone passing through. 4 stars because of the lack of awareness and control of pet owners in the main fenced in dog park section. 5 stars for the sports field area that may or may not be off leash.

It's okay. Considering that it's square in the middle of the WARZONE. The scumbag mayor and the other equally useless politicians want you to call it the "International District". Yeah. Sure. Whole area is OVERRUN with dope, homeless hoodrats and crime galore. I lived in that area for 3 1/2 years. There were TWO homicides within feet of my apartment. Well, you asked how it is. Nice i. The day mostly. Don't venture it at night. The homeless dopers live there.

Lovely park, quite huge actually! It has expansive soccer/ game fields, 2 playgrounds suitable for elementary ages, including picnic tables in one area. There are many walking areas and benches in nice shaded areas. There is definitely a dog area too!

We go to the dog park. It is located to the south, behind the baseball nets. It is split into two sections. The are three gates into the dog area. The first one is at the west end, providing acess from the parking area. The next gate is on the north side, walking between the baseball areas. The last is to the east. This one is connected to the grass area where soccer fields are. When at the dog park we also like to do a big loop around the grass area. The back field of the baseballs diamonds big nets have nets. When there are games sometimes a ball comes into the dog area but rarely. A benefit is when there are night games is the dog park is also lighted then.

Fields have many, many uneven spots on turf, trash around the parking lot. Seasonal porta potties would help to facilitate need at sports events.

Beautiful park. Extremely large with several play areas. You shouldn't have any issues with space for whatever your needs are. It's kid friendly, clean, dog friendly, and so much more. We absolutely love this park for its lush green grass and huge trees. I wouldn't recommend going too late. There have been a few times that we crossed paths with sketchy individuals but it's infrequent and usually occurs during later hours. Overall this is a great place to visit.

Great spot to play softball. Enter at the San Pedro Entrance. If you come through the VA, the gates to the southwest fields may be locked already.

The open football fields, about four side by side, are great to let dogs play in grass. Mostly fenced in. Open to the parking lot. The fenced in dog park is nice, plenty of water with water spots and both ends. Dog park is dirt and bark, typical of Albuquerque dog parks.

The city should be embarrassed to say the least about how poorly and neglected this park is! Weeds, water leaks, broken down restrooms..... I could go on and on. Mayor Tim Keller needs to visit this park along with the city council members. Pathetic!

I play softball here regularly and have for years. Looks like a lot of peeps bring their dogs, and it's always been safe for us to BBQ after games.

Average, if you’re going for softball the spectator areas are painfully unshaded. Take your own tent. Bathrooms are porta potties. Younger kids do enjoy the park area.

This park was so lovely when we went today! Softball games were going on so the park just felt alive and fun! There were a couple dogs at the dog park, but not too many! It was nice to sit at the dog park and let the little fur balls run around while we watch the games. Knocking down 1 star because the dog park looks unkept. Lots of exposed tree roots to trip on and be a potential hazard for pets/people. Chairs were turnt over. Goat head bushes are beginning to grow a lot. The dog park can use some love is all. If kept, it’d be such a lovely place!
